- Chris P.August 2024PositivosBeautifully landscaped area under pine trees. Large swimming and bathing paradise for children and adults. Shuttle bus to the supermarket and beach. New sanitary facilities.NegativosBad and expensive restaurant on site. Disco sound until midnight.Water paradise and discoLarge, beautifully laid out campsite for families who want to swim during the day and enjoy entertainment and disco in the evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant on site is expensive and poor. We were there at the end of the French vacations, so the price was very reasonable and there were lots of Germans from Bavaria and Bawü. The disco goes on until shortly before midnight.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Nadine H.October 2023PositivosView, were in the last row at the top, strictly speaking with a sea view.NegativosVery long walk to the beach 2.8 km (one way)It depends on what you wantIf you value the pool, top. For us, the proximity to the beach is important. We are therefore not so satisfied.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Michael G.August 2023PositivosAn unbelievably beautiful pool area and a dreamlike surrounding area. Very well-kept, clean campsite under pine trees and pines, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful bays. Saint-Tropez can be reached by bike via good cycle paths in 30 minutes.NegativosThe evening program is unfortunately an imposition due to the volume. Even in the restaurant it was very annoying. This beautiful place does not need that. Shopping below the campsite (approx. 500m) is very expensive. You have to drive about 30 minutes to the next town. We didn't like the beach at Ramatuelle that much. There are nicer bays around the corner.Great place with small deductionsDespite the sound system in the evening, we are completely thrilled by this beautiful place. Note for the journey from Aix (A8): Take the exit to Saint-Tropez (approx. 20km and 10min more) and not the one before, which the sat nav suggests. Otherwise you will have to take a narrow mountain road.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Corina H.September 2022PositivosBeautiful location, large treesNegativosContinuous music and animationToo loud and livelyWe had booked months in advance for 2 weeks in September, had to pay the full price up to 30 days before arrival and then arrived here after 1600km and the pitch was not free for us from 12 noon as described. It didn't look like it either, because there was supposed to be a ring swap - so you probably... get an occupancy rate of over 100%. At least we were able to get another pitch at the reception without any red tape. There was still a view of the vineyards, but unfortunately also the noise of the young staff: loud music, lively discussions, during breaks and often after work from midnight. In addition, the sound from the evening program: up to 71 db at our pitch EU 29 - unfortunately you never hear circuses like that. We saw too much garbage and unkempt corners for a 5* pitch - we found that the seasonal staff didn't seem very committed. The terrain on the campsite is a challenge for man and machine: powerful vehicles with a lot of ground clearance have a clear advantage!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wolfgang W.April 2022PositivosWhen we arrived at reception, we asked for a quiet pitch with a sea view. A friendly young man came straight away and drove us to the appropriate pitches. We chose one quite high up. Great view! However, the upper pitches are not suitable for larger motorhomes due to the sometimes tight bends and inclines. Far enough away from the evening music in the entrance area. The sanitary blocks are cleaned several times a day. The restaurant on site offers a varied menu with a moderate price level for the region. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the beach. A bicycle is helpful and can be rented on site. The supermarket, which is within walking distance, is the only shopping option, but offers a wide range of products and, above all, fresh vegetables.NegativosThe network of paths is confusing due to the terraced pitches and steep paths. It would be helpful to have signs to the sanitary facilities at least at the crossroads.A place for different wishes. An excellent place for our time of stay (mid-April).
If you want entertainment for children or swimming fun, this is just as good a place as if you are looking for a secluded place to relax.Traduzido automaticamente. - Alexandra L.August 2021Positivosgreat location beautiful pool area train to the seaNegativosPitches at the top of the mountain difficult to reach with a caravan no supermarket on site (but there is a Spar about 10 minutes away on foot)Great vacation in very beautiful surroundingsIt was our first time on the site and we were very positively surprised by the rather average reviews so far. We also reserved a pitch in the lower area for our slightly larger caravan.
We liked the location of the site, including the view of the sea from the vineyard. We only used the train to the beach... once. Otherwise, we liked going to the smaller bays and to Pampelonne Beach. We really liked the town of Ramatuelle with its weekly market.
It certainly wasn't the last time we were here.
All I can say about the noise level at the campsite is that it didn't bother us in the evening and we found it rather quiet in the morning and were able to sleep in late:)Traduzido automaticamente. - Roger F.June 2021PositivosThe old sanitary buildings are gradually being renovated.NegativosPartly no wifi.Vacation 2021New is a tourist train from the campsite via Spar to the beach and back. - Jana S.August 2020PositivosBeautifully laid out, shady under pine trees in the middle of nature, beautiful surroundings, great pool area. The sanitary facilities were fine.NegativosLots of noise (from the guests themselves), steep paths, hardly any distance regulations in the middle of a corona risk area.Beautiful facilityBeautifully laid out, shady under pine trees in the middle of nature, beautiful surroundings, great pool area. Short walk to the beach (which was covered in seaweed).
Sanitary facilities were fine.
Very lively campsite. We hardly noticed anything of the animation halfway up. But it's the guests themselves... who make a lot of noise. Children screaming from the early hours of the morning until late in the evening, nobody makes sure it's quiet, apparently the parents have no sense of how loud and annoying this constant fuss can be. We have children ourselves and you can be considerate of other guests seeking peace and quiet. Then there is the barking of dogs and the rattling of engines. But this has nothing to do with the campsite itself, it's just extremely noticeable there. Another "disadvantage" is that all activities in the area involve physical exertion, unless you take the car every time. The site is located on a hill and it is very steeply uphill, which means that there is a lot of traffic on the site because it is too strenuous for some people to move around on foot or by bike.
Corona regulations were limited. The pool area, for example, was mercilessly overcrowded, of course no masks at the pool. Also in the restaurant and at the animation and at the bars no distance rules.Traduzido automaticamente. - Michael H.August 2020Positivos- Beautiful pitches and facilitiesNegativos- No shopping facilities / small supermarket on site. A "Spar" is located 20 minutes away on foot via an arduous path. - Corona / hygiene concept only exists as a marketing gag. Almost no one adheres to it. Mass events, theater, PublicViewing Champions League, children's entertainment,... everything as if Corona had never existed and we had no rising case numbers in Europe in summer 2020! - No waste disposal, just a large container site outside the CP! - Staff not very service-oriented, overbearing in the catering area. - Fluctuating quality at the bakery stand; partly ok, partly tasty from the previous day - Restaurant not recommended; baked pizza, kids' menu not at all good!Commerce and marketingAs is so often the case in this region, there is more pretense than reality. Too bad, because the resort is beautiful; unfortunately, the concept is designed for mass tourism and profit optimization. The corona hygiene concept is a farce and is virtually non-existent.Traduzido automaticamente.

Pure FranceTraduzido automaticamente. - MYSMALLHOUSE.de S.May 2019PositivosGood location for many activities on the CoteNegativosThe beach is a 15 min walk or 10 min by car plus 4 EUR parking fee.Beautiful CP on the peninsula of Saint TropezThe campsite is huge and 90% of the pitches are on the mountain. Beautifully situated in a pine forest with lots of shade. Accordingly, there are loud/quiet and small/large pitches. Unfortunately, we couldn't choose the exact pitch when we booked, which is sometimes reassuring with a caravan of just... under 8m and 2.50m wide. Nevertheless, the pitch on arrival was great! In the evening, the music from the entertainment can be heard more on some pitches than on others. You are centrally located, shopping market 5 min, Saint Tropez 7 min and Pampelone Plage 10 min on foot. The beach of Pampelone was unfortunately rebuilt in 2018/2019 and many long-established restaurants were evicted. The new concessions have been given to hoteliers from Staint Tropez. There are now only new-build clubs with chilled food. Just like everywhere else in the world on famous beaches. But the beautiful area has so many beaches to offer that there is no shortage of alternatives. So please do a lot there and drive around, it's worth it!Traduzido automaticamente.
- Stegemann S.May 2019PositivosBeautiful playground and poolNegativosTraffic on site (garbage trucks etc.) much too fast!!! Pool: excessive bathing rules, indoor pool 10€/day, only opens at 10amOk in the low seasonWe were there in the low season and were able to find a nice pitch in the lower area without a reservation. If it gets fuller, then it would definitely be problematic further up with children. It is really very steep and cycling is not a good idea. The food supply (nearby SPAR which also belongs to the... campsite owners) is good but expensive. The wash houses are unfortunately dirty in the evening and need to be cleaned again. The helicopters that constantly fly over the site are quite annoying. However, it is probably standard in the region to be flown over for lunch. The beach is easily accessible but overrated and overcrowded. Unfortunately only cleaned at the end of May. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant either. The price-performance ratio was simply not right. Tip: tour of the winery in German/English every Fri at 10amTraduzido automaticamente.
- Ronni T.October 2018Not far from the seaYou can still find "your" place in the huge complex. There are many pitches that are separated from each other by hedges and offer corresponding "own space". Clean, well-kept site. Supermarket nearby.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Henning N.October 2018Great placeWe always like to be there in the off-season. One of the last places that is still open in October. Great pool area, close to the beach and very well-kept sanitary facilities. Staff very courteous and friendly. I can also recommend the restaurant.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Jochen O.October 2017PositivosCleanliness, beautiful hillside location, poolNegativosA little out of the wayTop space with every comfortWe are rather fond of small places but at the end of October the choice becomes small. We stayed at the campsite for a week and were very satisfied. The pool area is really impressive and the whole place was very well maintained and clean. I wouldn't want to spend my vacation there in the middle of summer, but in the off-season it's absolutely recommendableTraduzido automaticamente.
- Andy A.October 2017PositivosPool area, clean sanitary facilities, very friendly staff, unique landscape, not far from St. Tropez & Co.Negativosif the beach was a little closer, there would be nothing to complain aboutGreat place in a beautiful areaThe site is really nice. There are pitches of a decent size under trees. The ground is quite hard, so you should take metal pegs for your awning. The upper pitches have a fantastic view, but they are rather difficult to access with a trailer. The lower pitches, however, are very easy to access with plenty... of space. Very friendly staff who were always helpful. The Spar supermarket nearby is very expensive. However, you can also go shopping by car in the direction of Saint Tropez, which is good and cheaper. Really great pool area with slides, counter-current system, free loungers and palm trees. There's a nice restaurant on site and you can also get pizza in the evening from a stand. In the morning there are croissants and baguettes (very tasty). The spa looked good and had to be paid for separately. The beach was about 3 km away through vineyards. The rest periods were not very long. Didn't bother us in the fall though. We had one of our best fall vacations.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Bobby K.October 2017PositivosVery nice helpful staff, clean modern sanitary facilities, large flat terraced pitches, partial sea view, top pool.NegativosTerraced means high up. That's not necessarily a disadvantage, it depends on your fitness level. Good training in any case.Cozy in the low seasonA very nice, well-kept campsite, 10 km from Saint Tropez and 5 km from L'Escalet on Cap Camarat. The sea can be reached through vineyards at 1700 m. There are very beautiful hiking trails along the coast. Also great excursion destinations: Ramatuelle, Gassin, Marine-Gassin, Port-Grimaud (Little Venice).... A very good location to explore the beautiful area. I was here in 2017 and fell in love with the area. A new report will follow. https://ikkes-welt.com/2016/09/17/frankreich-provence-alpes-cote-dazur/Traduzido automaticamente.
- Wiebke A.October 2017PositivosGreat pool, friendly staff, very cleanNegativosPrices in the supermarket, too far from the seaGreat vacation - very friendly staffWe stayed there for ten days in October 2017 and were very impressed. The team is very friendly, speaks German and English and the sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained. The supermarket is not directly on the campsite, but can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. However,... the prices are outrageous (30 euros per kg of meat, five euros for four slices of cooked ham, mozzarella for 1.79 euros). That really is extortionate! If you go to a "normal" supermarket in the next town, the prices are better, but France is simply expensive. The swimming pool is just great - our children had a great time there. The site was about a third full and everything was okay. But I find it hard to judge what it's like in the high season. Even now there was already a long queue to get a baguette in the morning... The sea was too far away for me. I can't imagine walking for half an hour in summer when it's over 30 degrees with three children.Traduzido automaticamente.
- Gabriele W.May 2017Positivos- Swimming pool - Sports program - shady pitchesRelaxing stay in the low seasonWe spent a lovely relaxing vacation at Les Tournels in May 2017. The pitches are beautifully laid out on a slope in the forest and are large enough. In the low season, the site was not very busy and pleasantly quiet. The swimming pool is very nice and is suitable for both swimming and relaxing. The water... is pleasantly warm. Aquagym takes place here every day except Sundays, which was great fun. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned regularly. A small sports program is also offered in the low season. The staff at reception, the restaurant, the info point and the entertainment team were very friendly and helpful and some spoke very good German. The sandy beach is about 20 minutes' walk from the campsite. The coastal path is great for walking and jogging. The area offers some interesting excursion destinations. A visit to the turtle village in Gonfaron and a boat trip from Cavalaire to Port Cros were particularly interesting. On a negative note, there are no parking spaces for motorhomes in many towns due to height restrictions; we therefore had to drive home from Port Grimaud without a parking space. We felt very comfortable in Le Tournels and could recommend it to others.Traduzido automaticamente.
