The site is characterized by its good location in the Bernese Oberland. From here you can easily reach the Hasliberg mountain railroads, the Aare Gorge and much more. The pitches are level with grass. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a path out the... back directly from the pitch, which is ideal for dogs. The groundsman always ensures a good atmosphere and has a solution for everything. There is a playground, go-karts and a small swimming pool for children. We liked it very much and will definitely be back.Tradus automat.

Road bike, MTB, hiking or simply doing nothing.Alpine camping, an insider tipVery lovingly furnished small campsite in a practical location. Beautiful grass pitches. Surrounded by meadows with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Quiet, apart from the few military planes in the morning and evening. But you soon get used to them and the view makes up for it, as every... site in the Bernese Oberland is affected. It definitely didn't bother us, but we'll mention it here anyway for the sake of objectivity. The owner couple are very nice and helpful.Tradus automat.

The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern, the only thing you might miss are washing cubicles. There is a wonderful view from the site and it is in a quiet location. Unfortunately, a fighter jet flies over the whole region a few times a week, but otherwise... it is quiet and hardly bothersome. All the groundsmen are very friendly! The nearby town of Meiringen is also beautiful and is ideal for a stroll through the town. The Frutal Meringues are particularly recommended!Tradus automat.

Very good shopping facilities and sightseeing in Meiningen. Very friendly and courteous reception and staff. The camp's own restaurant offers delicious... snacks and drinks as well as a bread roll service. On certain days, e.g. August 1st, the chef personally cooks a creative menu. The reception was very friendly and we were able to choose a pitch of our choice despite the ACSI Card. The ACSI price only includes tourist tax and a CHF 1.50 waste disposal fee, which we found absolutely fine. We found it very generous that,... despite our relatively short stay of just 6 days, we were given a free Haslibergbahn ticket for two people. Fresh and good bread rolls are available on pre-order every morning from eight o'clock. We were very satisfied at Alpencamping Meiringen and can only recommend the site - with the exception of a few Swiss campers.Tradus automat.
