The site was very full on the Saturday we arrived. The pitches aren't very big either. But many people left on Sunday and it was then clear. We only bathed here for three days. It was great because you can get directly into the Mondsee from... the campsite. There is a restaurant on the campsite where the food tastes very good. Unfortunately, the location by the lake doesn't make up for it.Never againYou can anchor the awning to the next caravan, the pitches are so narrow. Too few power connections. We had to help out the neighbor. Completely overpriced for these pitches. Not drained, no gravel. Deep tire tracks from our previous campers. Must have rained a few days ago. Unfriendly lady in traditional... costume who apparently doesn't know "please" or similar phrases. Car has to be parked in an extra parking lot, which was unfortunately full. Homepage promises a lot, which in practice looks different. But the rooster wakes you up and you can prepare for the sunrise in peace and quiet. Whoever had the stupid idea of keeping a rooster at the campsite...
And watch out! If you arrive early, you will be charged a fee of just under €20. Electricity costs € 6.50 per night!
Conclusion: profit-maximized, ÖVP-run campsite without flair. Thank you no. Pitches for motorhomes quite cramped, you have to walk quite a long way for service water.
Restaurant visually nice but completely overpriced, no drinks menu, mediocre food, staff very hard-working but... prices beyond good and evil....with everything that is right.
Internet only in the lounge and at the restaurant/reception...... NoGo everywhere else
Baked goods for breakfast also very expensive, the nearest supermarket is 4km away, but there's everything you need.
Showers very large but not very clean, mold on the silicone etc.

We were on the site from 22 to 24.04.2022 as part of a camping meeting and everything was fine. Check in was easy (the lady at reception was very friendly and fully met our wishes regarding the choice of pitch despite the high occupancy rate due to the... meeting), pitch relatively flat, electricity and water connection in the immediate vicinity of the pitch, everything was perfect so far!
The pitches are not the biggest, but that's just the way it is, we had no problems at all with our bus (length 6m) and had enough space!
The sanitary facilities were very clean and generously sized.
It was still too cold to swim, but there is a private access to the lake with a sunbathing area.
There is also a slip ramp for launching boats.
The restaurant at the campsite served excellent food, the owners were very friendly and you always felt really welcome!

The tenant/host seems more service/customer-oriented than the tenant.
The sanitary facilities were clean throughout and were cleaned regularly.
The information on the website regarding quiet times "Night rest (23:00 - 8:00) and midday rest... (12:00 - 13:30) must be observed without exception! All noise must be avoided during these rest periods! Please also inform your children about this." apparently only applies to guests, not to the owners. During our vacation, the Halli Galli restaurant was open late into the night several times. Once until 04.00 in the morning due to a birthday party in the restaurant. Apologies? Not a chance. "If you come early, I won't charge you for the night" was the witty comment from the tenant.

The price, on the other hand, is top class! The individual items for parking the car in front of the pitch, the electricity and the waste flat rate(!) are unparalleled. We didn't use the restaurant as the prices were simply too high for us (the location... advantage is clearly being exploited here, as other restaurants were quite a distance away), the bread roll service was okay, but a bread roll cost +/- one euro. During the time we were at the campsite, there was nothing to complain about in terms of sanitary facilities, everything was tidy and clean and the rooms were very spacious. We were also treated in a friendly manner. Nevertheless, we will not be going to this campsite again, as it cannot in any way live up to the standard it sets for itself due to the total price (if you add everything up, the price is 45.00 euros).Tradus automat.
- Katrin K.August 2019MinusuriExtremely unfriendly manager. Terrible campsiteAbsolutely unsuitable for tentsI have never experienced anything like it in my many years of camping! We had reserved a pitch two weeks before our arrival, but when we arrived the campsite was full of tents and motorcycles. Before the motorcycles were moved, however, we were offered a pitch between caravans if we agreed to camp in... such a way that another caravan could squeeze past us the next day. When we expressed our doubts about the safety of this undertaking, the manager only gave us a flippant "is this our first time camping" and more or less the answer that we shouldn't make such a fuss. Nevertheless, we were allocated a small pitch directly in front of the washing blocks which could only just accommodate our tent and was surrounded by a concrete road. We had great difficulty hammering in the pegs as the ground was extremely hard and we had no room to tighten the ropes as everything was concreted all around. When I asked again if there was no other option, the boss just said that she couldn't help us. Unfortunately, as we were on foot, we had to stay there. On the last day we came back after a hike only to find our tent pole broken. So either a car had hit it or someone had deliberately broken the pole. When I asked the manager for help, I got neither help nor any sympathy. I have never been treated so unkindly and have never experienced such a terrible campsite.Tradus automat.

The gas for hot water went out, the glass containers were not emptied for days. Only 4 men's toilets, one of which was out of order for 3 days. And if you give a short hint at the reception about cold water etc.,... you will also be grumbled at very harshly by the boss. We won't be back! WHAT A SHAME ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL PLACE! - Günter S.July 2019PlusuriLocation, landscape, water qualityMinusuriUnfriendly, disorganized, manager overwhelmed43 years at the Austria Camp - Now it's over43 years at the Austria Camp - but now it's over The young ÖVP, as leaseholder of the site, has taken away the character and charm of the site with the recent "restructuring" of the Austria Camp initiated by the Upper Austrian Court of Audit and has subordinated the site to party financing without any... need for party political expediency. The termination of the lease agreement cited as the reason is pure hypocrisy. PACTA SUNT SERVANDA - also applies to ÖVP politicians and the Court of Audit. Premature party obedience was the maxim here. The SPÖ shows how things can be done differently at the Eurocamp on Lake Attersee. For 50 years, the only thing that was done here was to cash in and, apart from the catering trade, virtually nothing was invested. Inconsideration and social coldness have now painfully affected many campers from the very beginning and destroyed many friendships. The site is now by far the most expensive in the surrounding area. The prices quoted on the Internet do not correspond to the actual conditions. The daily price of €48.10 for 2 people is downright outrageous for what is on offer. When members of the National Council talk about cheap vacations, they have obviously lost their grip on reality and have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. The great location of the campsite is neither the fault of the party nor the managers. Nothing special is offered here. The new managers are unfriendly and now maintain a "service desert". They seem unsuitable and overwhelmed as campsite managers. Site regulations and maintenance are foreign to them. They have probably never heard of customer orientation. Reservations are made at random and the results are chaotic, which regularly leads to annoyance. Reliability - not a thing. The pitches are too small, not drained and without water and sewage connections. They are muddy when it rains. The number of toilets and showers is totally inadequate (4 toilets for 140 pitches). Cleaning is inadequate and hygienically questionable. Parking spaces are outside and are now charged extra (6 days, where else is that?!!!). The quality of the food is modest, the offers overpriced. The landlord's dog - Berti, the pet - roams around the restaurant and sh... under the tables. There were several complaints about dog hair on the food. The landlady writes her own reviews in Google - very revealing. Otherwise, many of the more recent reviews seem to have been ordered. - We have spent 42 years over 4 generations of great summer vacations here and cultivated many friendships, with the new circumstances this has unfortunately come to an end - a pity. Doubtful success of a young guard of careerists of a "people's party" who see the economic result as a mosaic stone of their party career. - The founding fathers of the Austria Camp would be turning in their graves!Tradus automat.

It was constantly restless and loud there. The sanitary facilities... are very spacious, but unfortunately very unclean. There were no problems with our dog, but there is no possibility to swim in the lake. Despite a binding reservation, our place was taken. They just wanted to rebook us. Wouldn't matter according to the manager in ... Outrageous. And that the manager then shouted through the restaurant that she needed a schnapps first...... That's not on. Prices were raised considerably after reservation. The car is parked in front of the pitch and now costs 6 euros per day. The sanitary facilities are dirty and the often mentioned dog in the restaurant is a no go. The site is now the most expensive far and wide and offers nothing apart from a great view. Because you can't cope with the reservations now, you can't book a fixed pitch for next year. Unfortunately, our dream vacation home has been destroyed for us. What a shame after over 40 years.Tradus automat.
Hans T.July 2019PlusuriLocated directly on the lakeNice location but....The CP is beautifully situated on the Mondsee, unfortunately a little outside the village of Mondsee - about 15 minutes by bike. The sanitary facilities are very spacious but unfortunately the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Cleaning once a day is unfortunately not enough for a well-developed... campsite. The restaurant on site is good but the service is a disaster. Only temporary staff or semi-skilled workers who don't speak German. The local dishes on the menu were very good but the fried chicken was not worth the price. The bread rolls ordered the evening before are freshly baked from the oven in the morning. All in all a CP with good average if you do not make any special demands. We were with dog at the CP with which there were also leine problems only it would be nice if at the entrance to go for a walk a Robby Dog container would be.Tradus automat.
