The check-in is online and goes very smoothly. The internet is very good. The campsite is a very good starting point for hiking or cycling tours. The owners and staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Free WLAN throughout the site. The streetcar has good departure times to Freiburg city center and can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Ideal for sightseeing and strolling through the city. New and always clean sanitary facilities, washing machine and dryer are available.MinusuriThe pitches are relatively small. With our camper van of 7.50 m total length, we just about fitted on it. The maneuvering options on arrival and departure are very limited - difficult without a mover! Unfortunately, there is no fresh water connection and service water drainage at or near the pitch. A single fresh water point is centrally located on the site or in the sanitary building. Unfortunately, we have to deduct points for the quietness on the pitch during the day. The adjacent soccer school of FC Freiburg unfortunately provides a non-stop background noise. From 08:00 in the morning, the playing turf is mowed or scarified. After midday, the footballers arrive for training, where there is a lot of shouting and discussion. In the afternoons and evenings and at weekends, the shooting club on the other side of the campsite also trains, with the constant sound of gunfire.Short vacation yes - recreational vacation noThe campsite is small, which is why we chose it so that we could enjoy our vacation in peace.
Our conclusion:
An ideal base for a short city trip to explore Freiburg. Nothing was left to be desired. The central location offers a lot of leisure activities. A very well-kept site, great sanitary facilities, everything you need, including a small café.MinusuriManeuvering with large motorhomes or caravans is sometimes a little difficult, depending on how the individual pitches were occupied.A campsite with heart and flairIf you are looking for a campsite without all the frills, but with heart and ambience, this is the place for you. The central location near Freiburg, but also close to the Black Forest, France and Switzerland, leaves nothing to be desired. I was also struck by the friendliness and helpfulness of all... the staff. I also liked the possibility of renting rooms for people who are not so close to camping. Pets are allowed, there were a lot of dogs on the site, but there wasn't a single scuffle. Everyone had their dog under control and on a lead. As the site is sometimes a bit cramped for larger vehicles, I think the timing for departure and arrival is very good. That way, nobody gets in each other's way. In short, a great campsite with great staff, definitely recommended. I will definitely be back.Tradus automat.

Curious: You have to register a Womo as a Womo with "awning" (meaning the awning) and also pay for a larger pitch so that you can extend your awning.
