Beautiful location
This campsite is located directly on a fjord. We were passing through and stayed overnight once. You can't do much else there.

quiet place
Very quiet and small campsite with a beautiful view of the fjord. The reception is very friendly, but too expensive at over €30 in the low season. The sanitary facilities are outdated and in the NS in a very dirty condition. Not a suitable place for dog owners. Very narrow access road to the CP. Internet reception on the pitch very poor. Space only for 9 mobile homes.

At the Akrafjord
With an estimated 120 pitches, it is a somewhat larger site. The proportion of permanent campers is around 80-90%. There are 9 gravel pitches at the front of the water for short-term guests. Very friendly welcome in German and free choice of pitch. At the beginning of September, we paid NOK 290 for a... motorhome with electricity and two people. WLAN is free and showers cost NOK 10. Hot water for washing up and using the stove costs extra. You can fish from the shore. Our "Becker" navigation system completely lost its bearings on the approach and departure, better keep your eyes open. The wash house next to reception has 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 wash basins for men and women. Since we didn't discover another wash house despite our tour, the question arises as to how this is supposed to be sufficient in the high season.

Quiet place in a wonderful location
Small site in a wonderful location, 9 gravel pitches for motorhomes right by the water, further pitches on grassy ground. Very friendly reception, small kiosk, bread rolls can be ordered. Sanitary facilities simple but clean. Site well suited for anglers, jetties available.

The Kyrping campsite is situated on a very quiet stretch of fjord. The site itself is very large although most of it consists of permanent campers or private cabins. For us, at the beginning of August 2012, only one sloping meadow was free. At the very front by the water is reserved for motorhomes. The... showers and toilets are clean and ok in size. But it smells strongly of fish. There is a fish gutting area between the sanitary facilities, which is very popular and smells accordingly. It is an ideal place for boat owners or those who want to hire a boat. The boats can be launched very nicely and can be moored at the jetty. Price per day for mooring 50 NOK We moved on after a few days anyway, as there were no bathing facilities and our children wanted a beach despite the boat.
