Robert K.July 2019Plusurigreat location on a great beach - well-stocked supermarketMinusuripossibly the distance to the city - but it is quiet!Quiet place directly on the beautiful beachRelatively large site; with many rental accommodations (bungalows) and some permanent campers... Beautiful location right by the sea; the first rows are all under trees and under mats! These are quite difficult to access for larger motorhomes! There is a restaurant with a great view of the sea and a... large menu! Highly recommended! There is also a supermarket open throughout the day, a fruit store and the fishmonger comes every now and then! Children's pool is also available - bathing cap compulsory! Top for southern Italy: free hot showers; "normal" WCs :-) ! The beach directly in front of the campsite is very beautiful and well maintained. During our stay, the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day and were therefore always clean. The restaurant's pizza was also very tasty. - Oliver S.September 2010Location of the campsite between Peschici and Vieste, but far outside. Super suitable for surfers, as it is a "standing area". Long, wide sandy beach that slopes very gently into the sea. Well suited for surfing and swimming vacations (wind!). However, at the tip of the Gargano, naturally very remote... for car excursions. Some traffic noise from the nearby coastal road. Sun protection provided by pine trees and additional mat roofs. Disadvantage: always slightly salty water in the sanitary facilities. Drinking water is only available at a central tap. Small supermarket on site, OK for panini, otherwise rather expensive. There is a large supermarket in Vieste about 8km away. You can't stroll in the evening.Tradus automat.
