- Andreas Q.September 2024PlusuriPool - Sanitary good for southern conditions - FriendlinessMinusuriBeach stony and steep stairsAgain and againFirst of all - don't be tempted to go to San Felippo. Both campsites are right next to each other and Costa Potente is on the right.
We had informed ourselves and pre-cooked with Nina. Everything was great and we were in the 1st row with a view of the sea and the pool.
For the normal camper who is familiar... with southern customs, there is really nothing to complain about. Sanitary always clean and good. The pool is fantastic and makes up for the arduous walk to the stony beach. Bar with well-known moderate prices. P.S. - the prices haven't changed in Italy - Super €1.80, supermarkets normal prices without deposit, bar and drinks delicious - Campari Spritz €5.
Beautiful pitches - all are also valid with the CC ACSI - I'm not sure about the ADAC Campcard.
We would or will certainly come back at some point.
Surroundings - Cefalu very nice - also accessible by bike or on foot. With car as everywhere arduous search for parking. At the train station for day ticket 10, - € possible. You can also go straight to Palermo - about 45 minutes and one way per person €7.10.
So - take the Costa Ponente and Nina will thank you for it.
My recommendation and opinion.Tradus automat. - Paul S.September 2023Plusuriabsolutely friendly, great pool - only with swimming cap - terrace place ok, restaurant okMinusuriSteep stairs to the stony beach, pool closed at lunchtimesimply goodalso here by bike to Cefalu, we got the ACSI price even without the card,Tradus automat.
- Wolfhard K.April 2022PlusuriThe staff put their heart and soul into their work and their friendliness is hard to beat. the cleanliness including the sanitary facilities and the pool area is superb. not to mention the bar and market area, simply great. Reception answered all questions and was always helpful, even when booking excursionsMinusuriSome guests simply ignore the advice to wear swimming caps in the pool and use the time when the super-nice lifeguard is not on site. If you have problems with this, you should only use the beachA campsite that deserves this name 100% and would love to come backWe were with the motorhome on the campsite and had a great pitch with a view of the pool and sea.the construction site tunnel has disturbed us relatively little, but is still present.the beautiful Cefalu is easy to reach by shuttle bus.
The supply on site in the small market is sufficient and coffee, pizza, drinks at the bar are delicious
We wish the whole team all the best for the future and will be happy to returnTradus automat. - So T.September 2020PlusuriFantastic view in the first row. From the 2nd row onwards still very good as it is terraced. The middle sanniblock was completely renovated and absolutely clean at all times. Very friendly staff.MinusuriNo real disadvantages. You have to walk a bit along the road to Cefalù. But it's not the campsite's fault.Really great place with friendly staff and new SanniblockSpent 2 quiet nights here and enjoyed the view. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout. It felt like the pool was constantly being cleaned, as were the toilets and showers.
The gray water disposal could be renewed, but fortunately you don't need it that often.Tradus automat. - Albrecht S.April 2019PlusuriQuiet and well-keptFriendly, well-maintained, hot showers included in the priceVery friendly reception, multilingual, including German. Clean sanitary facilities, hot solar showers, well terraced, swimming poolTradus automat.
- R.F.P. S.June 2017PlusuriClose to the historic city of Cefalù.MinusuriPlumbing.Nice starting point to visit the historic city of Cefalù.Nice campground. But too bad the showers are in such poor condition. There are no modern faucets. People have made some themselves from loose pieces of pipe and valves. The woodwork (doors) is in poor condition.Tradus automat.
- Richard M.April 2017PlusuriProximity to Cefalu, and hinterland (Madonie)MinusuriBy the sea but no decent beachPlace above the cliffsPitches with little shade and laid out in several terraces. In front of the steep slope to the sea there is a bar (bread must be ordered in advance) and next to it a large swimming pool with a children's pool, both of which offer beautiful views of the sea. A descent (approx. 15 meters uphill) leads... to the stony beach (unsuitable for swimming), but 200 m further on there is a small sandy bay. The sanitary facilities are old and only the toilets are covered, but well maintained. No restaurant on site but the one next door has one. Nice staff, one lady is German. We hardly noticed the train running in front of the campsite.Tradus automat.
- Gerit W.July 2015PlusuriPeace and quiet, view over the sea from some places and from the pool, close to the ferry to PalermoMinusurismall beach, no restaurant, no shopping facilities out of seasonGood place with pool and small beachThe campsite is about 4km outside of Cefalu. Unfortunately, cycling there is only recommended to a limited extent, so we switched to the Motorini. The way to the beach is up a flight of steps. In high season it gets very crowded as the beach is very small and mostly covered with stones. What's more,... the campers from the adjacent campsite also use it. It's great that there is a pool with a great view. You can order sandwiches at the bar, but otherwise you can only buy the usual things that are available in Italian bars. We also missed a restaurant. The pitches are big enough. During the week it is very quiet, at the weekend it gets louder when the weekend vacationers come. The toilets and showers were cleaned twice a day, but this was sometimes not enough. Hot water was always available. The staff are super nice and one lady at reception speaks several languages, including perfect German. I can recommend this place.Tradus automat.
