Toilets closed for 2 hours a dayVacationPlace is close to the highway, restaurant on site food and drinks very tasty price performance ok, bread rolls on site in own store otherwise no large selection of goods in the store. Own bathing lake is also used as a bathing lake by the surrounding villages.
Very annoying the many Stand Up Paddle in... the water and on land, in peak times not always a get through to the water, could be moved to the rear lake part. Our grandson was hit on the head and back twice during this time.

The previous telephone contact was very friendly. During this time there was free choice of pitch. On arrival we read that the reception is open Monday to Friday mornings. There was a sheet on the door with telephone numbers for help and emergencies... as well as information that you can go to the right of reception and register during office hours. We would have liked more information on how to pay afterwards, which toilets are open, etc. In the end, we let them know by email. Only one toilet block is open in the off-season (understandable!). All in all, it was clean, but could have been more modern. Perhaps our current impression is due to the time of year. Arrival on Friday was no problem even after 6pm.
Friendly welcome at reception.
The pitches are well laid out.
The restaurant is really good.
The waiters are friendly and quick.
Really nicely renovated, keep it up.
The sanitary building is... a bit outdated but was cleaned regularly. If the campers then throw the paper in the bin provided, everything is fine.

But not from this year onwards. Sanitary facilities are dirty and are supposedly cleaned every morning for 2 hours. Although Corona there is no disinfectant anywhere. You can be happy if soap is available. During the 2 hours of cleaning you have to walk halfway... around the lake to the other facility. You can't have any pressure. The lake is dirty and there is rubble on the shore in many places. Especially in the large fishing lake. I could see the operators' big dogs doing their business everywhere, but nothing is cleaned up.
It is also to be totally restructured. Many permanent campers have been given notice, they have to tear everything down. They are no longer wanted, apparently there will only be half-yearly pitches.
The reception desk is pure unfriendliness. Some people have lost a general. They don't say hello, how did you like it or anything like that. But you can tell by the look on her face that she is not enjoying herself at all. The service in the restaurant is no better. During the high season, it closes at 21 at the latest. Regardless of whether you wanted another drink.
The site makes a neglected impression in many places, except on the vacation campers' side. But they bring the money.
We don't bring anything there anymore. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day. It was a pity that the first cleaning usually took place when we were awake and would have liked to freshen up and relieve ourselves. But otherwise completely satisfactory.... The staff at reception were also very nice. At busy times you could tell that they were a bit tense, but who isn't? We were on vacation and had time. The lake is great and invites you to swim and relax with its jumping island and slide. It was also great that you could rent SUPs from private companies from time to time. The bread rolls from the supermarket were delicious. Otherwise, the supermarket's range was rather limited. However, there is a large Real, Rewe and ScheckIn nearby. So everything was fine. We were lucky and were able to experience the Festival of Lights. That's why the tent meadow was more than full. But there was enough space on the pitches for our tents and cars. We really liked the campsite and the swimming lake. The food in the campsite's own restaurant was good, but there is limited seating capacity and you have to expect waiting times. The campsite store sells basic necessities... - there is a large Real supermarket about 5 km away. You have to buy tokens to shower, but these only cost €0.50 each and one token is more than enough for a single shower - so it's not a disadvantage. Outside the bathing zone (i.e. at the back of the lake), dogs are also allowed to swim - a decisive advantage for us and our dog. Prices: 2 nights on a pitch with electricity/water, 2 adults, 1 child 4 years old, 2 children 14 years old, 1 dog = exactly 100 euros. Also positive: despite the proximity to the Rhine and the bathing lake, we didn't see a single snake.Tradus automat.

We were there with our folding trailer, everything went smoothly, from the first contact to the confirmation by callback it took less than 1 hour. The site/sanitary blocks are well maintained and clean. Some entries... describe noise from the highway, main road, flight path. There were aircraft movements from about 10:00 a.m. up to 4 - 6 hours before and after that we couldn't notice anything. Our children watched the planes with interest. This may be different outside the vacations, according to the airport; quote: Reduced flight schedule on public holidays and during school vacations! (www.baden-airpark.de) We didn't notice the highway or main road and it didn't disturb our sleep. We were treated in a friendly manner both on the phone, at reception and on the pitch. Shower tokens, you like them or not, I don't like them! But it was no problem. Coin-operated machines change cash into shower tokens at any time. The time is absolutely sufficient. If you like showering for hours, you can take a few more tokens with you. The Platzmarkt is stocked with the most important groceries. There are fully stocked food markets in the surrounding area. Bread/rolls were also available in sufficient quantities during the vacation period.Tradus automat.
