- Christoph R.September 2022PlusuriThe location for visiting the city is very good.MinusuriUnfriendly and condescending! He didn't think it was necessary to speak Italian slowly and open the gate. Everything was fully booked. And that was thatUnfriendly and too expensiveRarely have we experienced such an unfriendly reception. In the five weeks we spent traveling through France, Spain and Portugal, we were never even remotely treated this badly! Once was already too much! We'd rather go to a hotel. inTradus automat.
- Bernhard H.April 2019PlusuriIdeal starting point for toursis fineStayed with motorhome and dog at the campsite in April 2019. Place is fine from our point of view. Offers the opportunity to walk your dog in the park next door. Otherwise an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area.Tradus automat.
- Monika S.August 2018PlusuriLocation Supermarkets nearbyMinusuriSmall pool Swimming caps are mandatoryQuiet location on the outskirts of the villageVery friendly welcome, situated on the outskirts of Alba in the countryside. Supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. Alba, Bra, Asti within easy reach. Good starting point for bike tours. A very small pool, but enough to freshen up. Large pitches separated by hedges. We liked it, we stayed 2 days longer than plannedTradus automat.
- Daniela B.April 2016PlusuriQuiet location and beautiful pitchesMinusuriSanitary facilities All. usable facilities are dingyDilapidated sanitary facilities, the room for washing up a disaster!Nice pitches, quiet location, outside of Alba center, a good 2 km walk... Lidl nearby good shopping facilities Friendly reception and that's it.... The pool is very small, the sanitary area showers and WC looks clean, but is very run down. But we were left speechless when we saw the small room for washing... up, there were four sinks and no storage facilities, it looked very dirty and there were plexiglass plastic doors in front of it...... everything looks very tired and dingy... and the best thing was the prices... Pitch for the camper 14 - 18 euros and for us as a family of two adults and two children aged 15 and 13 another 8 euros per person... All in all, around 50 euros per night... far too expensive for what the site "has to offer".Tradus automat.
- Matthias B.July 2015City campingA small, beautiful campsite to get to know the town of Alba. The town is about 10 minutes away by bike. Bread is available in the bread store about 200 m away. Clean sanitary facilities, but not the newest. No toilet paper, after showering it was wet in the sanitary area. We were there for one night, ideal for the purpose of city camping, clean and pleasant.Tradus automat.
- Maurizio B.August 2014stop at the Alba camping villageI stayed 2 nights this summer and had a great time. I found more foreigners than Italians but I must say that this is an added value. Very clean, quiet and close to the city. Extreme courtesy from the operators of the facility. I will definitely come back for the truffle season.Tradus automat.
- kristina n.August 2014Quiet place at the gates of AlbaThe CP is located on the outskirts of Alba to the center about 3 km. No shopping facilities directly on the site but Lidl and Famila only 200m away. Pitches of different sizes, partly separated by hedges, as only a few are occupied, everyone uses 2 pitches. Free choice of place. Sanitary relatively new and clean but a bit unkempt.Tradus automat.
- Ludwig M.July 2014PlusuriQuiet, beautiful pitches.MinusuriLittle infrastructure.A little off the beaten trackTo get into town you need a bike, car or you can take the bus (bus stop in front of the square, every hour). There are no restaurants or markets. You should take toilet paper with you to the toilet facilities otherwise you could be in for a nasty surprise.Tradus automat.
- Krebs P.September 2013Beautifully laid out, cozy site at the gates of Alba. The pitches are not too big. Sanitary clean and in order. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back!Tradus automat.
- Werner S.October 2012Very quiet and beautifully laid out, level site with tidy and clean sanitary facilities and swimming pool (off-season); unfortunately the plaster and paint is peeling off in many places; renovation would be an advantage; technically everything is up to date; pitches with partial shade; approx. 4 pitches... share a water tap; the individual pitches are very small; friendly and helpful staff at reception with very good knowledge of English; advantage in the early and late season you can actually use two pitches for the price of one; own meadow for tents; the grass there is still in good condition, in contrast to the pitches, where there is hardly any grass left; a bar in front of the CP, where there is also a small menu at lunchtime; two supermarkets (Lidl and Familia) 1 km away, the Italian one with a good bakery; cycle path almost all the way to the town (approx. 2.5 flat km); bus stop in front of the CP; romantic old town with interesting churches; a must to buy are the noble nut nougat creams with 50% instead of the usual 13% hazelnut content; supposedly the best hazelnuts in Italy grow here in Piedmont; shrink-wrapped hazelnuts are also recommended here; the truffles, however, cannot be paid for; the CP is the ideal starting point for several excursions in Piedmont; price-performance ratio for 2 people in the low season is a bit too expensive at 28 euros (incl. electricity), but the price is not too high. The price-performance ratio for 2 people in the low season is a bit too expensive at 28 euros (incl. electricity), but there is no price difference in the high season; then the price is ok, but then you have to make do with the slightly too small pitches; the surrounding hilly landscape is like in Tuscany, only with far fewer tourists; however, autumn may be the wrong season, because the fog was extreme and unfortunately rarely cleared during the day; we will be back, just not in the fall.Tradus automat.
