Simple, clean and well-kept sanitary facilities.
Showers for 5 minutes cost 50 cents.
For cyclists, there is a small meadow with battery charging facilities and seating.
Washing machines and dryers available.
The small playground is nice for children under 12, but the site doesn't offer much more for children.
For us as a couple (60+) a campsite without a lot of frills at a fair price.

Stayed on the pitch in April 2023. The place was fully booked and yet everything went perfectly and quietly. The direct location to the beach is ideal; only 300 meters to the beach promenade. Good connection to the cycle path network. You are quickly in Cuxhaven and have... the maritime flair at your fingertips. Ideal for strolling along the promenade in Duhnen and Döse to the Kugelbake or in the Duhnen district itself.
The pitches are small and usually paved with chippings next to the lawn. The sanitary facilities are of a very good standard and are always clean and well maintained. The Brütt family is nice and friendly with an open ear for the guests. Price-performance ratio in relation to other lakeside pitches is fine. The small bread roll and cake store is also good.

A short trip to Cuxhaven brought us here. The location to the town and the sea is great. The staff are nice and very friendly. The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are great. There is a good restaurant right next to the campsite. Leisure facilities in the village are great. Very clean and well-kept, both the pitch and the sanitary facilities! Very friendly and helpful staff! A very nice small but well-maintained playground. Our children had a lot of fun on it! The beach and stores are only a few minutes' walk away. We would also like to mention that the permanent campers are also very friendly! It starts with the reservation and continues with the check-in. Always very friendly and courteous. Getting to the campsite was a bit difficult at times but the owner helped with parking the vehicle. But no problem for experienced... drivers. Sanitary is always top clean. And we have no problem with the coins (.050 cents for a real 5 minutes). In 5 minutes you can walk to the Duhnen district with its stores and restaurants. The prices there are a bit high but that doesn't seem to bother the guests. You can be in Cuxhaven itself in about 15 minutes by bus. The site is in a quiet location, but still close to the center of Duhnen. The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times, showers 0.50 EUR for 5 minutes, side showers newly renovated. Owners/staff very friendly and helpful. Campsite manageable but very clean and quiet. Pitches small. Perfectly adequate for our vacation with caravan without awning at the beginning of March. Sanitary facilities very clean, heated and always stocked with... toilet paper and soap. Showers modernized 50 cents for about 5 min. but the time can be stopped. Bread roll service on the campsite expensive but tasty. Gas bottle exchange is also offered Alugas. Lots of shops nearby, even on Sundays. The beach is only a few minutes walk away. Beach was very clean and inviting. Promenade was not busy at the beginning of March. Lots of activities on offer. We will definitely be backTradus automat.

Nice and helpful operator couple.MinusuriNarrow paths on the pitch.Great place on the North SeaThis is the fourth time we have been to this beautiful place. And it's the second time we've spent a whole winter here (from the end of October to the end of March). The site is run very nicely, but tightly - and that's not a disadvantage in this case. Pitches and sanitary facilities are pico bello clean.... However, it would be nicer if there was hot water at the hand basin in the toilet room. Showers for €0.50 are perfectly OK, especially as the water is nice and hot and the clock can be stopped in the meantime. The operator is always trying to upgrade the site. Another frost-proof water point is currently being built and paths are being repaved. One small drawback, however, is that the paths on the campsite are very narrow. But for us it is definitely one of the top sites on the North Sea.Tradus automat.- B. The whole site makes a very well-kept and clean impression and the sanitary facilities are always spotless, even in high season. Mr. and Mrs. Brütt are always very helpful and friendly. We also... find it positive that the site is run consistently and tightly. The only thing we have to criticize is the kiosk, which unfortunately has very irregular opening times and the assortment is not exactly appealing. However, this is not a problem for us because all the stores are within easy walking distance. Very central for all activities in the Cuxheven area. Very clean overall impression, really TOP clean sanitary facilities. The chip system that opens the doors also keeps the sanitary facilities very clean. The 50 cent shower is more than enough, especially as the time is stopped... when the water is turned off. Actually a win-win situation, plenty of hot showers at a reasonable price, with a water-saving effect. Perhaps the shower could also be controlled via the chip by charging, would be very convenient and you wouldn't have to collect 50,- cent pieces ;-) Super nice and very helpful owners/staff. Well-kept pitches, perhaps a little small for larger vehicles. Wonderfully quiet despite the location. Bread roll kiosk on site until the beginning of November. We will definitely be back. We liked the proximity to the beach and Duhnen as well as the good cycling opportunities. The campsite is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Everything is very practically furnished. The site is very well maintained and tidy. Mr. and Mrs. Brütt are very friendly and helpful, as is the rest of the team. Mr. Brütt helps to place the caravan on the pitch on arrival. The pitches are a bit narrow, but still very well... paved with lanes and fine gravel for the awning. The paths are also narrow. The sanitary facilities were always very clean, they were the cleanest sanitary facilities we have had on a campsite. Despite full occupancy, there were no waiting times at the sanitary facilities. There is a small playground for the little ones, but there are no activities for older people (e.g. table tennis). The location directly in Duhnen is also great, you are quickly on the beach and in the town center with many stores. We will definitely be back!!!Tradus automat.
