- Dirk W.July 2021PlusuriVery well-kept facility, friendly staff. Met the boss personally in a short conversation and left a very nice first impression.MinusuriWe didn't notice anything like that.Very satisfied. We were there with 2 children and a dog. We'll be coming here again.
Our daughter also made friends straight away, with playmates of all ages.Tradus automat. - M. M.August 2020PlusuriThe view of the sea.MinusuriToilets very dirty despite Corona. Unfriendly staff. We were not enthusiastic.Toilets very dirty despite Corona. Unfriendly staff. The pitch is assigned by the groundskeeper. Customer requests are only fulfilled after discussion. Too bad...!Farewell gift (cake/schnapps) would have been better suited as a welcome gift. Would have been nicer as a welcome gift, at least we would have felt more welcome. This way it feels like an attempt at a bribe. Sorry, but my opinion.Tradus automat.
- Susanne S.October 2019PlusuriDirect location by the sea, ideal for dog ownersMinusuriDog fee very expensive, steep shore...beach only accessible via steep stairsoverall nice campsiteWe stayed there with our caravan. We got the panoramic pitch at the dog meadow, which we really liked as we were traveling with 2 dogs. Dog waste bags are provided free of charge everywhere on the site and there is a dog toilet at the new sanitary building. We liked the location of our pitch (unobstructed... view of the Baltic Sea, close to the dog meadow and close to the toilet block). There is a well-stocked kiosk on the site with a bread roll service. The reception by the groundsman Andreas was very nice. The friendliness (older lady) at the registration desk could still be improved. We could have been told in advance that the shower cards also deduct credit even if you don't shower - namely whenever they are in the scanner. So we paid 3-4 euros without showering. At all the other campsites we know (we've been camping for over 15 years), the credit deduction stops as soon as the shower is switched off. We didn't like the fact that dogs are more expensive than children...you should think about that. The site itself is super clean and well maintained, as are the sanitary blocks. The shower cubicles are really spacious and there are plenty of clothes hooks - someone has really put some thought into this. The town (Neustadt) is 5 minutes away by car or just under 15 minutes by bike. The natural beach can only be reached from the campsite itself via a steep flight of steps. Overall, a nice place with a few little things that could be improved.Tradus automat.
- Hans V.July 2019PlusuriThe excellent location, the very friendly staff. The generally well-kept appearance of the campsite.MinusuriThe operator should definitely come up with measures to ensure that the walking speed is adhered to on the paths.Beautiful campsite on the Neustadt Bay!We have been visiting this beautifully situated site with its always friendly and helpful staff for years. The facilities are modernized and well maintained, and above all are appropriate for the size of the site, so that there are never any bottlenecks. Particularly recommended for dog owners!Tradus automat.
- Ralf S.June 2019PlusuriVery quiet, relaxed campers and permanent campers. Pelzerhacken promenade within easy walking distance. Staff always helpful.MinusuriThere were no disadvantages for usOur favorite placeVery beautifully situated place on the Baltic Sea. Here you can relax very well and enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of the Baltic Sea. All the staff are always friendly and in a good mood. We, two adults and dog, always felt welcome.Tradus automat.
- Ursula M.June 2019PlusuriQuiet, lunch break is respected, shopping, culture, sports, sights directly accessible, great team at the campsiteMinusuriNone !!!!!Great vacation with a dogA beautiful place. Great location on the Baltic Sea. Dogs welcome. Spacious pitch with beautiful hedges around it. Sooooooo nice and helpful staff. Great kiosk with a small, good menu and everything you need for your daily needs. Wellness offers directly in Pelzerhagen and Neustadt. Many opportunities... for sightseeing, culture and sports directly from the campsite without a car. A big thank you to the campsite and kiosk team. An all-round great vacation. - Alexandra S.June 2019PlusuriPriceless panoramic view, friendliness and helpfulness, peace and quiet, fresh and waste water on site, cleanliness, dogs welcomeMinusuriWe cannot recognize any....Our favorite campsiteWe went here for the 3rd year in a row and are booking again for next year. The location of the panorama pitches and the magnificent view of the Bay of Lübeck are simply wonderful. The whole site is very well maintained, the sanitary facilities clean, the washing-up area and the waste water disposal... station appetizing. On arrival, the boss himself and 'Andi' (who everyone who has ever been there knows ;-)) came to help set up the caravan. In our experience, this is not the case elsewhere!!! The kiosk on the site sells everyday necessities at normal campsite prices. The reception is friendly and competent. Especially nice for us as dog owners: the dog shower, the mowed dog area for throwing balls and the relaxed atmosphere among the fellow campers, whether with or without a dog!Tradus automat.
- Stefan E.April 2019PlusuriLocation, tranquillity, service, friendliness, facilitiesMinusuriNot a disadvantage. Just no room for party people...😄Absolute insider tipVery beautifully situated site with excellent value for money. Clean and modern sanitary facilities, kiosk with everything you need and more, right on your own (small) stretch of beach. The seaside resort can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. You can also rent beach chairs etc. here. We had a Parnorama... pitch with a breathtaking view of the entire Bay of Lübeck. The staff (many greetings to groundsman Andreas!!!) and helpers were always very friendly and attentive. A place for anyone who wants to relax and unwind. Certainly not for people who are more into club entertainment.... :-). A total of over 300 permanent campers and only about 20 guest pitches. But they are well equipped with their own paved terrace. We only paid 310 euros for 8 nights including 2 children and a dog. That's super cheap. We would love to come back!Tradus automat.
- Johannes M.March 2019PlusuriThe location of the pitch. It should be emphasized that the permanent pitches are not, as is so often the case, disfigured with unsightly wooden sheds.MinusuriHonestly, we have not found anything that can be called a disadvantage at this point.Ingenious placeThe friendly Staff greet you with a "Moin". The groundsman Andreas is on hand with help and advice, e.g. when organizing the Woni. The pitch and sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. Due to the good location Pelzerhacken is just around the corner but also Neustadt (5km) can be easily reached on foot via the riverside path.Tradus automat.
- Cornelia D.May 2018Great campsiteWe were at the end of May with motorhome on this place, were received very friendly.the pitches are very large and surrounded by a hedge, so you had a lot of privacy.the location is uniquely beautiful, only a few minutes walk to the beach.we had a dog with us, very dog-friendly, dog meadow and dog shower,... as well as various drinking places were available. Sanitary facilities and showers were very clean and nice, it was very quiet and we had a good rest, price-performance ratio is top. We will be back! Thank you very muchTradus automat.
- Ulrich S.May 2018PlusuriThe peace and quiet and the proximity to the lake are simply wonderful!MinusuriDoes not exist (not for us)!Just a wonderful week!We (my wife, my dachshund & I) were now a week until Pentecost on this place (panoramic pitch)! It was all SUPER! We would love to come back! Family Schulte-OrtbeckTradus automat.
- Sigrid R.September 2017PlusuriPanoramic pitch with a great view over the Baltic Sea, dog-friendlyMinusuriExtremely dirty sanitary facilitiesgreat location with a beautiful view but poor sanitary facilitiesWe were there this fall. We were lucky and got a pitch with a panoramic view. Electricity, water and waste water directly at the pitch. Small terrace (paved) available but the forecourt is made of small sandy gravel - so we had to sweep it every day. Great dog area. Hiking trails along the coast very... narrow. Beach unfortunately full of seaweed / algae. Free dog beach available directly at the campsite but not really accessible for dogs due to the steep metal stairs, but after a 10-minute walk there was access to the dog beach. Small kiosk available but was often closed. New town + good shopping in 10 min. reachable by bike. the sanitary facilities were extremely unclean. The floor was probably not cleaned during the whole season. Toilets were very old, full of urine stone and unclean. Cleaning is also not done daily. It was clear from all the sanitary facilities that they are not cleaned daily. For this reason, the place is clearly overpriced. Even in this day and age, charging €11 for wifi is not right.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping am Hohen Ufer September 30, 2017Dear guest, thank you very much for your "review"!
Please understand that we cannot leave your review uncommented.
Please also read our latest Google reviews with regard to our sanitary facilities. It is true that one of our three sanitary buildings is already outdated and will be demolished on October... 16, and a completely new sanitary building will be built by April 2018. All our buildings are cleaned up to twice a day, and once a day during your stay. Our floors are additionally cleaned with specially designed cleaning agents and equipment.
We regret that we were unable to meet your requirements, but we do not consider your "assessment" to be justified.Tradus automat. - Berliner F.July 2017Plusuriquiet, close to the beach, beautiful viewPerfect for camping with a dogMainly permanent pitches, but also space for tents. The location is very nice, right on the steep bank with a dog beach (the only dog-friendly campsite far and wide). The beach is also within easy walking distance. The staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are cleaned at least every morning. Kiosk and fresh bread rolls on site.Tradus automat.
- Karl F.May 2017PlusuriPeace and quiet Friendly staff wonderful view of the Bay of LübeckMinusuriThe dog beach should be a little cleaner, but is not the responsibility of the site operator.Very nice place with a good atmosphereStayed at this campsite for a total of 3 weeks in May 2017. We were very satisfied. The site is beautifully situated with direct access to the Baltic Sea and a wonderful view over the Bay of Lübeck. The pitches are beautifully laid out with water, waste water and direct electricity connections. The whole... site is very well maintained and clean. The sanitary facilities are tidy and clean and are cleaned several times a day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a well-stocked store on site with excellent breakfast rolls. The site is highly recommended for dog owners. There is a large dog meadow, a dog beach and a dog shower.Tradus automat.
- Wilfried S.August 2016PlusuriGreat with a dog but also without directly on the lakeMinusuriDogs beach without toilet also otherwise too much bushes could not use the beach with my long-haired dog because of burrsdogsWere there for the first time very friendly staff is I think not to top also the place is okay everything clean for my needs 100% ok what more could you want of course there are high quality kämpingplätze but with dog do not drive without super will come back in all cases Lisa Wilfried and Mia from WiesmoorTradus automat.
- Kimsalin K.July 2016PlusuriBaltic Sea view on the panorama square and tent meadowWe will definitely be back.....Class camping vacationThe site is very well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly. Very suitable for children, especially for soccer. You should be dog and child friendly on this site. Cleanliness is a top priority... Shopping facilities nearby and on the pitch. Paths a bit narrow but it works. Close to the promenade.Tradus automat.
- Hans-Jürgen D.July 2016PlusuriClose to the beach and beautiful view of the Baltic SeaMinusuriThe possibility of emptying the chemical toilets is kept very primitive and there is a high proportion of permanent campsites.Vacation in July2016We liked the campsite very much. The pitches are spacious and in good condition. The beach to Pelzerhaken is very close. There is a well-run kiosk on site with a small restaurant. There are also good play facilities for children on the large meadow. The wash houses are cleaned several times a day and are very clean. However, the shower cubicles could be a little bigger and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.Tradus automat.
- Holger F.August 2014PlusuriLocated on the steep shore of the Baltic Sea, main beach and shopping facilities can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, friendly staffMinusurimusty shower curtains, a "few" unclean corners in the sanitary buildings (otherwise clean), primitive disposal station for the chemical toiletsOur stay in August 2014We (2 adults and 2 children) spent a few days at this campsite in week 32+33. The first impression when we arrived at the reception was very good. We received a friendly welcome. After we had moved into our pitch, we first explored the campsite. Well, based on the comments we had read on this website... beforehand, we were skeptical about the cleanliness and condition of the sanitary facilities. We inspected the first toilet block and agreed that we wouldn't be staying here at the campsite. An old shack with even older fixtures and fittings. The chemical toilet disposal station was primitive. We tried to find another pitch in the area by phone. No chance, summer vacation, everything fully booked. So well, eyes closed and through. Maybe we were just spoiled by the last two campsites. During the course of the day we found two "newer" sanitary buildings which were in order. The washbasins, toilets and showers were clean. Unfortunately, some corners of the buildings were a little "unclean". Cobwebs and small dead animals (flies and beetles) for days on end. The shower curtains, which were always damp, caused a slight musty smell in the showers. Some improvements should be made here (plastic partitions instead of shower curtains). As already mentioned, the areas that guests came into contact with were clean. The washing machines and tumble dryers were also top notch, new and clean. On the negative side, we also noticed a few children of the permanent campers. Our 10-year-old daughter was once so intimidated by them that she didn't dare go to the toilet on her own. Unfortunately, we couldn't find out who it was. These children also played hide-and-seek in the sanitary facilities in the evening, shouting and slamming doors. Apart from that, it's a lovely, quiet campsite in a great location. The view of the Baltic Sea from the panoramic pitches is probably unique. The main beach in Pelzerhaken is a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very obliging and accommodating. For family reasons we were only able to arrive two days later, but we only had to pay for the actual length of stay (although our pitch remained empty during this time). During the light check of the caravan before departure, it turned out that a brake light was not working, the groundsman helped us out with a new bulb without any problems and free of charge. Thanks again for that. CONCLUSION: we will definitely spend our summer vacation here again next year. Whether the place really deserves 4* (as stated on this website), everyone has to decide for themselves. We give the place a solid 3* and can recommend it.Tradus automat.
- Cathrin E.July 2014PlusuriLocationBeautiful campsiteWe felt completely at home and would only have liked 1-2 more picnic benches on the campsite. The TV program from here over the Baltic Sea is terrific! The access to the sanitary facilities with a chip card is brilliant and ensures that only campsite guests use these facilities. This keeps everything nice and clean. The staff are really super friendlyTradus automat.
- Markus O.July 2014PlusuriGreat view of the Bay of Lübeck, quiet place, good location. You can quickly get to Hamburg, Kiel, Fehmarn, Grömitz, Plön....MinusuriThe sanitary facilities no longer work at all and are cleaned too rarely. At times there are more dogs than children.Vacation on the Hohe Ufer 2014This was our fourth and last time there. The place as a whole is ok, the groundskeeper (Antonio) is helpful and friendly in person, all the kids like him. The site has the tastiest fries in OH. The condition of the sanitary facilities put us off another visit. They are simply no longer up to date. The background noise sometimes makes you think you're in a delivery room.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping am Hohen Ufer August 12, 2014Our sanitary facilities are cleaned 2-3 times a day.
This year we have fitted the washbasins in the lower building
with granite worktops this year, so they really are new. I can't explain the noise in the wash house "Kreissaal". Thanks to the new access system, we haven't really had any problems with... "strays".
I am happy to accept your comments and we all see it as an
an incentive. You have now been with us four times and we will do our best to welcome you back as a satisfied guest.
