The site offers the bare essentials, but is getting on in years. Electricity and showers are charged extra. We paid €78 for two adults and a 10-year-old for two nights. Otherwise very quiet. The Schilling farm store at the harbor sells homemade sea buckthorn sausage. Since I can't support my caravan myself, the boss said I could come here with the crank, cable drum laid out and connected, I was so surprised by the boss that I was almost... on the verge of tears. How can you rate such helpfulness 6 stars is not enough, he did the same again when I left.

Dishes can only be washed outside.
They urgently need to be renovated!
Sign on the beach: no... dogs allowed - nobody cares whether this is adhered to!
Unfortunately, the site has no competition - if you want to go to Hiddensee, you have to camp here. The operators know that too :-(

There was no disinfectant for hands or toilets and only 4 showers for all the people on the pitch. Outside there were cobwebs everywhere and the laundry room smelled strongly. Dogs are allowed but not on the beach. You have to drive at least 40 minutes to a dog beach. They are also a bit unfriendly. We won't be going there again.Tradus automat.
- Michaela S.July 2022PlusuriWe were there with 2 caravan teams and 4 dogs, we liked everything very much. Friendly welcome and always a kind word, the groundsman always has a plan B. Everyone makes every effort here, which I think works well. The outside of the sanitary facilities were getting on in years, the inside was completely ok and always clean. Fresh bread rolls on site every day without pre-ordering, freshly smoked fish for those who like it, as it is smoked on site twice a week. Mega delicious Anyone who is not satisfied here cannot be helped. There was always a friendly answer to a friendly question. We only wanted to stay for 10 days and ended up staying for 13 days. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!MinusuriThere was nothing to complain about from our side!Beautiful quiet location w. view of HiddenseeVery nice, extremely quiet and superbly located campsite directly on the Bodden with a view of Hiddensee. Surf school with reasonable prices on site. Bread roll service. Dogs welcome (2 euros/dog) is totally 👌🏻🐶. Excursions within 50 km of everything (Binz, Sellin, Cape Arkona, Mönchgut peninsula, Stralsund, etc.).
We will definitely come back, and we really liked it. The peace and quiet was unique!

Extremely unfriendly and arrogant when making a complaint. Unfortunately the place stinks of waste as the containers/trash cans are overfilled and not closed. But there are no rats to be seen as I had it once before... on another pitch. There is also no concept against Corona. Disinfectant in the toilets? No indication!!! And that in Corona times!!! Only the guests wear face masks !!! Friendliness is rated as completely superfluous, especially by one gentleman!Well, camping in Schaprode...All in all, despite the shortcomings, you can definitely use the place if you don't expect luxury and would like to be on your own. But all questions were answered.Super nice location and everything very cleanThe stay of 2 nights with our freshly self-built T6 Bulli was wonderful. A lovely place with a beautiful beach. And quiet and not a tourist hotspot. The direct departure possibility to Hiddensee is great. The site is clean and tidy. Showers, toilets and washroom clean and tidy at all times. Super!

The sanitary facilities were cleaned at least once a day. They are neither outdated nor defective. The staff are not unfriendly at all, at best not as talkative as some but rather reserved. But nobody was unfriendly to us during... our 2-week stay in June. We had made a reservation and were offered several places to choose from on arrival. After making a reservation request, I was told on the phone months in advance that it was not necessary. When we arrived there (July), we were moved to the discarded soccer pitch. The power... supply was a cable drum, the pitch was bumpy and not organized. The highlight here is that the pitch was just as expensive as on the demarcated, partly parceled out campsite. I can only agree with the previous speakers regarding the friendliness of the person who has often been described as an elderly gentleman. Conclusion! This campsite has long since reached its organizational limits, as the sanitary facilities and beach access are no longer suitable for the number of guests in high season. It was my last visit to this campsite. School grade 4Tradus automat.
