- Bernhard H.July 2024PlusuriVery nice location, well-kept, sufficiently large pitches, good small store, great starting point for hikes, good public transport connections, very friendly operator familyMinusuriLots of and sometimes noisy traffic due to the proximity to the Staller Sattel and the biathlon center Antholz, next larger supermarket (MPREIS in Percha) relatively far awayCampsite in a great location with addictive potentialThe location directly on the SP44, the only access road to the Antholz biathlon center and the Staller Sattel, is (unfortunately) both a curse and a blessing. A curse because the motorcycles and sports cars that roar up there can really get on your nerves (and I say that even though I like riding motorcycles... myself). A blessing, because the public transport connections via the bus stop right at the entrance to the campsite, combined with the guest pass, make it really easy to explore the Antholz Valley and the surrounding area.
The campsite is a great starting point for hikes in the Antholertal valley and to the surrounding Alpine pastures; there are numerous beautiful easy/medium/demanding hiking trails. It is also worth hiking to the Antholzer See lake and the Obersee lake on the Austrian side or simply exploring the area down the valley.
The restaurant on the site is very good and there are plenty of sanitary facilities (showers, toilets). The shower heads at some of the washbasins are very good for washing your hair. The shower cubicles are relatively narrow, but okay. There is a small store and fresh bread rolls and pastries in the morning without having to order in advance. The sanitary facilities are cleaned very well on a regular basis; the fact that some campers are simply pigs cannot be compensated for by the best cleaning team...
The comfort pitches are large enough for caravans, awnings or awnings and cars and are partly terraced. As two pitches share one electricity column, a 25 m long connection cable is not oversized. ASTRA satellite reception is possible without any problems despite the valley location.
And now something else that is really close to my heart: Mrs. and Mr. Wieser and the whole team literally work like animals from morning to night, constantly have to deal with several things at the same time and yet ALWAYS have a smile on their faces, are super friendly, take their time and are on hand with help and advice. You really feel welcome. Many thanks!!!!!!Tradus automat. - Fabian C.July 2024PlusuriVery well run, friendly service with a good restaurant and very well maintained.MinusuriNoneVery nice campsite in the Antholz ValleyWe were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. Sanitary facilities always well maintained and pleasant
Food fantasticTradus automat. - Volker W.June 2023PlusuriSufficient and clean toilets and showers.MinusuriConstruction noise and dust, too many dogsVacation in June 2023There were plenty of toilets and showers.
The showers were great as there was an additional shower door attached to the shower tray, so the clothes and towel stayed dry.
Very friendly staff and owners.
Unfortunately, a new sanitary building was being built, which is necessary, so we had a lot of construction noise and dust during our stay.Tradus automat. - Franz Xaver R.October 2022PlusuriAbsolutely clean, modern facilities, friendly staff and owners, opportunities for hiking from the site, waste separation, locked rooms for waste disposal, kiosk with fresh bread rolls, etc.MinusuriPartly stony, difficult for herring installation,Absolutely satisfiedModern, above all absolutely clean sanitary facilities, pitches very well maintained, friendly and helpful staff (should I print out the map with the huts that are still open?) free bus service with very good clocking. The small kiosk had everything we needed, fresh bread rolls (4 pieces €2.60) were a real treat in the morning ....Tradus automat.
- Klaus A.September 2021PlusuriBeautiful location, close to town, bus stop in front of the campsite, very clean and very friendly, many activities possible.MinusuriI can't think of anythingGood hiking opportunitiesThe site has large pitches with water connections and direct drainage, very clean sanitary facilities, a good restaurant and very friendly operators. It is a wonderful starting point for excursions into nature on foot or by bike.Tradus automat.
- Kornelia D.July 2021PlusuriVery beautiful valley great hiking trailsMinusuriSpace occupancy did not correspond to the sanitary conditions14 days vacation senior couple with dogThe first week on the campsite met our expectations and also the offer of the campsite operator. After 1 week (beginning of August) the meadows around the campsite were randomly made available for campers (school vacations started in Italy). This meant that the one sanitary building was simply no longer... sufficient for the many additional campers. There were long queues in front of the showers and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. And this was certainly not due to the cleaning staff, as they were always very diligent. And it was impossible to comply with the Corona rules, there were far too many people in far too small a space.
The staff were very friendly, the service was good and the comfort levels were quite reasonable. However, for my next vacation in the Antholz Valley/surroundings I would choose another campsite that is not so overbooked during the vacation periods.Tradus automat. - Edith S.September 2020Plusuri- good location - clean, functional and warm sanitary facilities - very nice, helpful staff - drying room - good restaurant - quietMinusuri-Gladly again and againThis year was my 3rd time at the campsite in Antholz with my bike and tent. I was warmly welcomed and again felt very comfortable and welcome. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. I was allowed to choose the pitch for my tent myself, and on request I was also told where the sun shines... first.
The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. I really appreciated the opportunity to wash clothes and dry them in the drying room.
The staff in the restaurant were also extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was good, at least to my taste.
The selection in the small store was enough for me. The village is within walking distance and so are some smaller grocery stores with a good selection.
And I almost made friends with the fox that stole some food from my awning on the first night :-)
I'll be back and look forward to it.Tradus automat. - Oliver B.July 2020PlusuriLocation Friendliness Culinary delights Pitch CleanlinessMinusuri-Simply TOPIt doesn't get any better than this. If there were more stars we would give it. The location is great, the staff sensational and the same goes for the food. Originally we wanted to stay for a maximum of 2 nights, but when we had to leave after 4 nights due to other appointments, it was difficult to leave. Simply TOP!Tradus automat.
- Olaf T.February 2020PlusuriNo ratingMinusuriThe parking space that was assigned to me. Outrageous30 minutes impression was enough for meThe booked Wowa pitch was supposed to be a muddy pitch outside the campsite. Right next to the country roadTradus automat.
- Holger R.December 2019PlusuriVery quiet location in the middle of a fantastic mountain world. Also ideal for winter camping, especially for cross-country skiing (cross-country ski trail on site). Very informal.MinusuriNoneVacations in the mountains couldn't be more beautifulWe have been guests at Camping Antholz for at least 2-3 weeks every winter since 1986. If you are passionate about cross-country skiing and love nature, there is nothing better for campers than to spend their vacation here. Alpine skiers can take the free ski bus to the ski lifts at Kronplatz.
Very... friendly and friendly management (second generation Wieser family). Top clean sanitary facilities. Fantastic location at the foot of the Rieserferner group.
We have also been hiking in Antholz in early summer and fall. The campsite is an ideal starting point for many hikes - even in the high mountains. You don't have to move your car.
You don't even have to leave the campsite to eat. The restaurant serves delicious South Tyrolean cuisine.
Our favorite place in almost 40 years of camping!Tradus automat. - Isabelle M.September 2019PlusuriBeautiful and spacious pitches, friendly owners, dogs welcome not just tolerated, good foodMinusuriToo little choice in the store, dog owners who do not comply with the leash requirementNice and quiet campsiteWe spent two nights at this welcoming campsite in September. We were allowed to choose a suitable pitch for our motorhome - said and done. We were warmly welcomed and given good hiking tips. We and our dog felt very comfortable. The obligation to keep dogs on a lead on the site was generally observed.... Unfortunately, there are always dog owners who don't follow the rules and are then surprised when dogs are no longer accepted! It was pleasantly quiet during our stay - even at night. The toilets and showers were always clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Thank you for allowing our well-behaved dog to accompany us. Not a matter of course - thank you very much! The store was rather poorly stocked; otherwise everything was wonderful.Tradus automat.
- G. B.September 2019PlusuriSee textMinusuriSee textNo flying sparksThe staff/owner of the site were extremely friendly and courteous when we phoned to ask if we could still get a pitch. This impression was later confirmed during our stay. We were able to choose our own pitch. We already noticed that the natural grass on the pitch needed to be mowed again. When setting... up the awning, we had problems hammering it deep enough into the ground due to the gravel, despite having the sturdiest ground pegs. Dogs must be kept on a lead on the Antholz campsite. We always let our dog off the lead on the pitch and had no problems with this. There are plenty of places to walk your dog. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but in my opinion no longer meet the general standard of a modern campsite. In particular, the showers with a shower tray and fixed shower head without a hand shower are a no go for me! The campsite restaurant was OK for us, the mini-market on the site didn't really offer much, but there were fresh bread rolls every day. One reason to come back again is the excellent and many hiking opportunities in the Antholz Valley.Tradus automat.
- Tanja E.September 2019Top place!Very good place. Highly recommended. Very family-run campsite. You simply have to feel at home with the Wieser familyTradus automat.
- Kai W.July 2019PlusuriVery nice staff beautiful panorama ideal starting point for hikes quiet location cools down well in the evening - ideal for sleeping :-)MinusurinoneAgain and againStayed at the campsite for 3 weeks in July. We received a very nice welcome. The staff is very nice and courteous.Tradus automat.
- Heinrich S.July 2019PlusuriTop campsite, very well maintained, nice and friendly family business with great prices. The landscape is a dream.MinusuriThe only disadvantage is that here too, a week only has seven days, which are over far too quickly.Escape the summer heatI've just had a wonderful stay in Antholz, where the beautiful landscape can leave you speechless. This beautiful impression is only underlined by the campsite. The sanitary facilities are more than impeccable. The showers have an additional inner door, which avoids any floods on your clothes, especially... your shoes. The whole area, including the washing-up area, exudes cleanliness throughout and there could be no doubt about it. The good home-style food in the restaurant (in the main building) is really to be recommended. Since the renovation of the main building, you can buy fresh rolls for breakfast as well as the essentials in a small store. The waste separation building is centrally located and you can easily dispose of your garbage on the way to the nearby bus stop. The most important thing in the now very hot summers is that it cools down nicely in the evening due to the altitude and you can sleep very well even without air conditioning.Tradus automat.
- Gerhard F.June 2019PlusuriallMinusurinoneOptimalWe were with our camper spring 2019 in the Antholzertal for a short time in the Antholzertal cycling,,,,super....and this campsite suited us exactly................we can only give positive reviews...everything had fit to our satisfactionTradus automat.
- Carola S.July 2018MinusuriBeautiful place with panoramaWe landed at the CP Antholz via the Staller Sattel heading south. Large, beautiful, well-kept site. Our car was allowed to park next to the tent, electricity available on site. Large sanitary facilities, clean, modern, the shower cubicles still have their own shower door. Things really do stay dry there.... :-) Spacious toilets, some with bidet. Delicious food in the restaurant. No arrival possible during the lunch break, but plenty of space to wait. Small store at reception with rolls, bread, drinks and jam etc. There is also a separate toilet on the lower square for "in a hurry". I thought it was a pity that there were no hedges, so sometimes it would definitely whistle around the tent. Not everyone has a camper van as protection.Tradus automat.
- Eckardt Z.December 2017PlusuriSuper location with direct bus connection in front of the house, top sanitary facilities well maintained and clean, great friendly staffMinusuriNoneSuper campsiteThere was a lot going on over New Year's Eve and yet you always get a friendly answer to any questions, I was very satisfied, apart from the fact that you get top quality South Tyrolean specialties served in the restaurant. I will come back to the campsite at any time, thank you very muchTradus automat.
