- Sabine A.September 2022PlusuriVery well maintained, great sanitary facilities, beautiful viewMinusuriCampsite beach not usable as suchVery nice and well-kept campsiteWe really liked the campsite, even though we unfortunately didn't have a pitch with a sea view. The sanitary facilities are absolutely top-notch and super clean, the operators very nice, the view of the sea gigantic. Only the campsite beach is not really a beach, but just a steep descent. But no problem,... as the beautiful beach of St. Anne is right next to the campsite. We also recommend the lovely Quai Ouest restaurant right next to the campsite, where you can enjoy a delicious meal.Tradus automat.
- Patricia v.July 2021PlusuriTop sanitary facilities Nice beach Pool with slidesMinusuriA slightly elevated locationRecommended placeSome pitches have a view of the beautiful bay. Path directly over rocks to the beach. The village is slightly elevated and preferably accessible by bike or car. The charming town of Roscoff is within cycling distance.
Sanitary facilities are excellent. There is entertainment, but it's not too noticeable. Pool with slides for kids, table tennis table...Tradus automat. - Martin H.July 2018Plusuri+Beautiful location directly on the water + Nice operator + Good bread service (baguette inexpensive) + Large pitches at the back of the siteMinusuriNew and unusual for us - no toilet seat on the ceramicbeautiful, friendly place to explore north-western BrittanyIt was our first stay in France and then so far west in Brittany, which meant a two-day journey from Aachen, but it was worth it. Camping Ar Kleguer consists of two parts of the site, which are separated by a road. The front part of the site is right by the sea. As the terrain is hilly, not only the... front row has a great view of the sea, but also pitches behind it (especially on the hill, which is also popular with campers). The pitches are mostly parceled out, but not always perfectly level. This part of the site is also home to the reception, the bar (including a list for bread roll service), the very attractive pool area and even a covered 'indoor' pool. As the trampoline and bouncy castle were also set up here (vacation season), it was busier than the rear part of the campsite. As you can see on Google Maps, some mobile homes have also been set up here in the meantime. It takes 2-3 minutes to walk from the rear part of the site if you want to go to the front part along the road, e.g. because the delicious baguettes are waiting here or you want to use the pool. Unfortunately, there is no direct passage between the two parts. There is another play area for small children with a swing and slide at the back. Adjacent to this is a petting zoo, so there is always something to look at. During the vacation season, there are two hours of childcare (in French) in the mornings. For older kids/teens there is a sports court where tennis, football and basketball can be played. In bad weather, a hall can be used, where there are a few more table tennis tables and plenty of space for ball games. The pitches at the rear are all parceled out with high hedges, feel larger than at the front (more than large enough) and are level, so that maneuvering by hand is no problem. Electricity columns are sometimes closer, sometimes further away. Water taps too. There are various mobile homes at the left end of the rear part of the site, which were not a problem. There are sanitary facilities, but not as many as would be necessary at peak times, so you may have to expect short waiting times in high season. The lack of toilet seats on the ceramic was unusual for us. You have to get used to this. Water pressure in the showers (somewhat small) good. However, the temperature is preset and cannot be changed. WLAN for a fee (good quality in our rear pitch, but not cheap. The sea and the tides are great to watch. The beach is long and wide (depending on where the tide line is). Dogs are not allowed in the high season (this is generally adhered to). Dog owners simply go to the other side of the headland and have fun there. Just outside the campsite is a restaurant/creperie where you can get various delicacies for a few euros more. Opposite is a stationary snack bar where you can get snacks such as chips or have a coffee. There are also two restaurants along the beach promenade which were always well frequented (not by us). Overall, I found it a very appealing place with good surroundings. Ideal for a relaxing vacation with a little exploration of the surrounding area (radius 100 km, then e.g. Brest, Morlaix, etc.).Tradus automat.
- Ralf K.August 2016Plusurifantastic location, clean sanitary facilitiessimply fantastic locationTandem WWs are not permitted on this pitch. We had a pitch with a sea view. The pitches were quite small, but it was ok as the site was quiet from 10pm to 9am. We were here during the 2016 summer vacation. The sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day and were still quite new. Less suitable for dog owners who are not allowed on the public beach. The campsite does have its own beach, but it is quite small.Tradus automat.
- Gabriela H.September 2015PlusuriClean sanitary facilities, beautiful location, quick access to the beach, well maintained.MinusuriOlder and few washing machines and dryers, the restaurant was already closed when we visited in September.Well-kept placeThe site is in good condition, beautifully landscaped, clean, new sanitary facilities. Beaches within easy reachTradus automat.
- Ludwig K.May 2015PlusuriVery nice locationMinusuriNot enough sanitary facilities, shower water not adjustable.Fantastic placesBeautifully situated in the bay. Many pitches with a view of the sea. Some of the pitches are very uneven...challenging to align the motorhome...Sanitary facilities are clean but not enough (only 2 toilets per gender) Sufficient showers and washing cubicles. Shower water cannot be regulated and is sometimes a bit lukewarm.Tradus automat.
- Heike C.July 2014PlusuriView & tranquillity (old part of the site at the top), new sanitary building, great pool with slidesGreat stayAnother beautiful campsite in Brittany! We even got a pitch in the old part with a fantastic view over the whole bay without a reservation. Brand new sanitary building with comfortable showers (although a few more toilets wouldn't have hurt), great pool for the whole family and nice, helpful operators.... The old part of the site (with a view) is also very quiet and offers large pitches (there is a lot more hustle and bustle downstairs and the separate new part is very remote). Great beach right next door. The place is easy to reach by bike and offers a lot! An absolute recommendation!Tradus automat.
- Doris D.June 2012The site has a fantastic location right by the water. It either has a very small, private bathing bay that is difficult to access (you have to walk over rocks and paths and be very careful not to fall and break something) or you can visit the public beach, which is accessible to everyone. The private... bay is littered with small stones and shells, the public beach without stones/shells - at least from what I saw. Standing in the front row was simply fantastic. As we were there shortly before the HS, we were lucky with the price, but the swimming pool was still open. However, the sanitary facilities are not great. There are no toilet seats, you have to bring your own toilet paper and there are no storage facilities in the showers. Men and women are not separated (for those who value this). For this reason, I find the prices for the HS the purest usury. But if you can come to terms with these things and are lucky enough - as I am - to be in the 1st or 2nd row by the sea, it makes up for it. However, if I'm just standing somewhere on the pitch, I don't know whether there aren't better campsites nearby. It's a good walk to the town center, so bicycles are really good, especially if you have a camper van. For motorhome fans: There is a parking space about 150m further on (also in the 1st row)!!!!!!! So if you're car-active, you can save money! The town itself is very pretty (and heavily frequented by cars) and there are nice stores, several banks and a post office, as well as various restaurants. LeClerk (or Carfour?) can be found at the other end of the village. Definitely worth a visit. I would definitely recommend the campsite because of its location if you are happy with the sanitary facilities.Tradus automat.
