We spent a week at Camping Azzurro in June 2017 during our tour of Italy. We felt very comfortable. The manageress and the owners of the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We got great ideas and advice for planned excursions. The bread roll ordering service works great and the pizza also tastes... excellent. You can buy the essentials in the mini market, a large supermarket is about 10 km away. We gave it four stars because you have to buy tokens for showering and the rinse water is cold. The beach is good for swimming after the excursions and the water is very clean.

Clean campsite right on the lake with private lake access. Shady pitches. Friendly campsite operators.

Few activities possible. Cycling tours with children from the campsite are not recommended.
Nice place without a lot of frills
The site is right on the lake. We stayed with three children (aged 9, 12 and 13) in a mobile home, which had enough space but was poorly equipped. There was mold in the bathroom. The manager of the campsite is friendly and speaks good English. You can take the train from Bracciano directly to Rome. The... journey took between 50 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes. We were in the low season and the site was very quiet and almost empty during the week. At the weekend there were lots of Italians on the site which was nice as they are quite friendly. All in all, a nice place to stay if you want to go to Rome.
