The campsite owner was very helpful and the pitch was nice and big. The whole site was very clean, tidy and quiet. There are several stores and restaurants nearby. The beautiful dune beach can also be reached quickly by bike. The shower costs 1 euro extra. The wifi was not so good at times. We will definitely be back!Tradus automat.

Pitches very large and delimited with beautiful hedges, all places with electricity and sewage connection and most even with water connection. From 30 places only 5 occupied, wonderful peace and no problems with the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately the site closed on Sunday. As it suited us better, we were only allowed to leave on MondayTradus automat.

Various shopping facilities are close by and the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The owners of the campsite are very helpful and friendly and the 30 mostly parceled out pitches are generously laid out, so no "hanging on to each other". There is a large playground for children. Dogs are welcome. We would love to come back. We would say it's an insider tip in the area.Tradus automat.
- Stephan M.July 2015Plusuri* Small campsite * Large parceled pitches * WLAN available for a feeMinusuri* Noise from playground in summer * July 2015: Noise from solo entertainer from neighboring CP * Sanitary dirty several timesCozy little place with small flawsWe were there for a long weekend in May and booked another 2 weeks in July at short notice. The site consists of 2 parts: A few dozen mobile homes, which are mainly used by Belgians and French, and parceled-out meadows, which can accommodate around 25 campers. The pitches are large; in addition to our... caravan/awning and car, there was enough space to set up two small pop-up tents for our children. The site is slightly offset behind the dunes. First comes the coastal road, on which the well-known streetcar also runs, then an approx. 50m wide strip of forest with a footpath and then a quiet road that runs parallel to the coastal road. If you walk or drive along the quiet road to the left, you will reach a small bakery after approx. 300m and after approx. 1.5km the center of Bredene, where Delhaize, Lidl and another supermarket are located. To the right you reach the center of De Haan after about 2.5km, where you can find Aldi, Smatch and also a Delhaize. The beach is about 800m away on foot, where there is also a large beach bar/restaurant with toilets. The campsite is generally quiet and secluded, but when it's busy in the summer months there are lots of children and teenagers, some of whom are in the playground until after midnight. In July at least, there was also a solo entertainer from a neighboring campsite who played Belgian and international oldies and hits until 1 am. Of course, this is not the responsibility of the campsite, but it made us leave 3 days earlier than planned. The campsite is personally looked after and maintained by the groundsman and his wife. Both are very friendly and helpful. However, they do reach their limits when the campsite is full, and the otherwise clean sanitary facilities were dirty for a while. The men's area consisted of 2 urinals, 2 toilets (bring your own paper), 2 washbasins and 2 showers (with brand).Tradus automat.

It's only 500 m to the beach, less to a tasty bakery. There is a playground and very clean sanitary facilities (although you have to bring your own toilet paper). The site is perfect for visiting cities like Bruges, swimming in the North Sea and digging in the beautiful beach. Wifi was poor, but it was free for us.Tradus automat.

Very clean, beautifully situated and the owners are friendly and helpful. There are many regular guests, which speaks for itself. Children and dogs are very welcome. The playground and football pitch have recently been generously rebuilt. Negative reviews are incomprehensible, but there are grumblers and complainers everywhere.Tradus automat.
Britt P.June 2015MinusuriNoneBeautiful family-run small CPAfter spending a wonderful week on this beautiful little campsite, we unfortunately had to go home today. I can understand the bad reviews in the smallest way. The operators are super nice, no matter what you have, you can always come and they will help you. On arrival we were greeted very nicely (which... is almost never the case with large campsites). We were taken directly to the pitch. We were also told how it is best to park the camper van with an awning because of the wind. The site is small, very clean, large pitches, well maintained. The pitches are very straight, so you hardly have to align the caravan at all. Even when it rains (we had 2 nights) nothing sinks and the pitch is not soggy like some other pitches. The sanitary facilities were always clean, no matter when you had to go to the toilet. You didn't even see a cigarette butt on the pitch. There is a bakery nearby and within easy walking distance. There is also a Lidl and another supermarket nearby. It is also not far to the beach. A small footpath leads directly there. We liked it so much that we canceled our vacation in the mountains in August to enjoy this beautiful area and the great place again. There is so much to discover. The towns along the coast have their own special flair. The friendliness of the Belgians is also simply great.Tradus automat.- Sascha M.June 2014Never againWere there in June. We will definitely not be going back. Sanitary was dirty. Opposite the sanitary building was a senior couple with a motorhome and dog, who looked at the sanitary building all day to see who was going in there. Their dog also made a noisy impression. Nearest supermarket very far away,... so not suitable for motorhomes. The registration is anything but nice. We needed shower tokens and rang the bell at the registration desk, but nobody opened it for us! The whole coast is full of noisy houses or high-rise buildings made of concrete blocks.Tradus automat.

Landlord very helpful and friendly. We've been coming here every now and then for about 10 years. Children and dogs are of course welcome here, we have a pooch ourselves. - Sven H.June 2011Very nice owners, always available, very helpful, very clean, quiet campsite, good for relaxing and unwinding, unfortunately there is no wifi, All I can say about the comment about the German family who were allegedly shouted at is that if you behave like that as campers and parents, you should be banned... from every campsite. There are a lot of Germans of all ages on the site and we all enjoy being there. We would love to come back, as would all our friends who were also on the site with children this year.Tradus automat.

We were located next to the playground which was ideal for our twin girls age 5. Best of all the toilets were super clean. Ideal location for streetcar, beach a little walk away but good access to coast. Will return.Tradus automat.

The owner was very unfriendly, our children let the water run twice, the owner immediately shouted you can look for another place, we don't need such filth here.
