Very quiet and you can hike directly from the site. The owners speak German (Hamburg) and have lots of tips for activities and hikes. In good weather you can spend a week here. The friendly owners are Swiss and therefore speak excellent German. They also provided us with tips on how we could go for nice walks with the dog after a 10-minute walk through the village. He also brought us an up-to-date report every... morning with the fuel situation in France. The sanitary facilities are basic and could do with a makeover. But they were always tiptop clean. There are instantaneous water heaters for showering and washing up, so the water is always hot. The nearby road is audible when it's wet and raining, but there is hardly any traffic at night. The meadow was very wet during our stay due to the constant rain, when paying and saying goodbye they offered us their help should something not work out. - Johanna S.Iunie 2011I would like to add to my review below after another visit in June 2011: it is simply a pleasant place! The landlords are nice, the landlady even brought us our ordered French fries to the square. The ice cream is sold on the square by bicycle. And the white wine we bought is always ice cold! We will... become regulars! We've already been there three times in 2010. We like this simple site mainly - but not only - because the landlords are very nice - they also speak German. The pitches are very large, all on nice grass. Unfortunately, a road runs right past. Sanitary facilities are VERY basic but adequate. Nice little pub on the campsite, if you run out of your own stock, there is great ice-cold white wine to buy! There is a bakery around the corner and on Sundays the groundskeeper brings baguettes to the campsite. The landlords help organize bike tours. The nearest supermarket is a few kilometers away. The surrounding countryside is great! We will definitely go there again.Tradus automat.

In the evenings a few campers always met and exchanged anecdotes (including us) Showers and toilets were simple but clean at all times. Pitches are all level and quite large. Unfortunately, the weather was mixed. When the river bank threatened to overflow after heavy rain, we gladly accepted the suggestion to spend a night in the storage shed.Tradus automat.
