- Nicole G.July 2024PlusuriSuper location, close to the centerMinusuriSecurity > please read review WLAN was catastrophicTheft directly at the campsite (plot)Theft directly at the campsite!
We stayed at this campsite for a whole week the week before last.
The first 4 nights were okay - we felt safe until then...
But then, our own e-scooters, which were secured twice around the rim of the car, were stolen.
We are still stunned!
Reception more or less shook... themselves off and just handed over the phone number/address of the police! No further help or reaction, as if this was completely normal...
At the police station we met another camper who also had 2 expensive ebikes stolen directly from his pitch (also 2x secured) in the early hours of 26.07.2024.
The perpetrators made €10,000 from these 2 thefts alone! It's still unbelievable!
As beautiful as this place is, feeling safe is something else...
No video surveillance at the entrance and exit.
Outer main gates are open at night!
We no longer felt safe!
Such a wonderful location, very close to the center
WLAN was the biggest disaster
Security: No security at all! Outer main gates were open at night!
No cameras at the entrance/exit....
We are used to "better" from other campsites.Tradus automat. - Klaus-Peter A.July 2023PlusuriGood locationMinusuriConstruction noise, showers inadequate, toilets not clean, partly untidy, too expensive for the qualityLocation is good, otherwise room for improvementGood location relatively close to the center of Paris. 30 minutes by bike to the Eiffel Tower or 15 minutes on foot to the nearest streetcar stop. Apart from the location, currently only recommended to a limited extent. Construction noise more or less around the clock, baguette and croissant already... sold out at 10am and above all consistently inadequate showers (cold, water after pressure only for 2 seconds, little water or a combination of the deficiencies). The toilets were not clean either.
We also had the misfortune of being allocated a pitch between the camper van disposal point and the campsite laundry. Therefore, in addition to the construction noise, nuisance from all sides. To charge the full (high) price for this was a cheek.
The site seems to be moving towards 'glamping' and mini-apartments at the expense of normal campers. During such a conversion phase, at least the pitches directly affected should be sold at a lower price.
The restaurant is definitely a ray of hope. It serves very good pizza.Tradus automat. - Frida B.July 2023Plusuri+ There were tap water at the camping lot + There were also electricity at the camping lot + The staff was nice and could speak good english + The cleaning was good + There are trees to get shadow from + Good price compared to renting a hotel or apartment in ParisMinusuri- It can be far to to the toilets, which can be a problem for tent campers - The camping lots don't have grass, instead it's GRAVEL! It was almost impossible to pitch the tent... - Our brand new €3100 Tentipi became very worn because of the gravel, much more than it usually is when pitching on grass. In particular the tent floor got very wornNot excellent for tentsThis camping is probably perfect for campers and mobile homes, but we stayed there with a tent. We are a family of 6 people that use a 7 person Tentipi tipi tent. Unfortunately, the gravel worn our tent a lot compared to if it had been grass. I recommend you to bring an extra plastic sheet under your... tent if you plan to stay at this camping with a tent.
I still recommend the campsite, since it's difficult to find cheap places to stay in Paris.
Also note that if you have a very small tent, you can pitch it in the small grass tent area. Then you won't have the problem with the gravel. - P. H.April 2023PlusuriClose to the center Bus shuttle to the metroMinusuriSanitary facilities currently under construction Weak WLAN Only cold water when rinsing Not cleaned sanitary facilitiesGreat location, poor sanitary facilitiesWe stayed at the campsite for 7 nights, from here we explored Disneyland (by car) for two days and Paris City (metro) for three days.
The shuttle bus departs directly from the entrance and shuttles into the city (Porte Maillot). From here you have good local transport connections! The cost here is €2... for adults and €1.30 for children up to the age of 11 (one way).
During our stay, one of the sanitary blocks was being renovated, which meant that the other two sanitary blocks were fully utilized. The cleanliness of the toilet area left a lot to be desired and regular cleaning was not evident. The showers were in very poor condition, there were showers with cold water, showers with hot water, showers without light and showers that smelled unpleasant. There was only cold water for washing up. The WLAN reception in the rear area was very weak.Tradus automat. - Familie B.April 2023PlusuriLocation, friendliness, transport connectionsMinusuriSanitary facilitiesGood location, nice place - but still room for improvement...You are really close to the center of the metropolis of Paris, but still in the countryside. The shuttle bus to the metro station is convenient, and if you don't want to take it (adult 2€, child 1.30€ for a one-way ticket) you can also walk 5 minutes and take the public bus. The site is nicely laid out... and manageable. The people at reception are friendly and helpful and English is great. Baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolate are available at reception in the morning without having to order in advance, and you don't have to wait long despite the high occupancy. The Seine with the weir can be heard very well, especially in the places by the water, but that didn't bother us. The rental tents are functional and a little sparse, but still OK and thanks to thick woolen blankets usable even in April. The only drawback of this site is the sanitary facilities... Whether you had boiling hot, cold or no water at all was a matter of luck in the shower. Some worked well, others not at all... At a price of just under €100 per night in a rental tent without a toilet, this is really not acceptable. The toilets were also often unappetizing - of course, the behaviour of the guests also plays a role here.
Conclusion: If the sanitary facilities are technically renovated and cleaned a little more often, it could be a very good place!Tradus automat. - Isi M.April 2023PlusuriClose to the centerMinusuriCurrently under construction Sanitary facilitiesThings are betterLooking for a campsite near the center of Paris. Found it here. Exploring Paris by bike for a few days during the Easter vacation. Very easy to do from here.
The campsite is surrounded by greenery, cycle paths within easy reach.
Booking, arrival, check-in very easy. The people at reception are very friendly... and attentive. Unfortunately, the site was a construction site, which meant that the daily routes were longer, 'streets' were closed and there was a lot of building material lying around. The sanitary facilities are new inside, but unfortunately the wooden stairs and paths are brittle. The water pressure in the showers is also far too low. The cleanliness is very good for a city campsite. The paths to the toilets are awkwardly long due to the new huts. Lots of fences here.
The offer in the store is manageable, on some days you didn't manage to provide everyone with bread in the morning, which is annoying, there are no shopping facilities nearby.
All in all, we had a good time and will be back...to check if anything has changed...🤪Tradus automat. - Hubert G.April 2022PlusuriClose to the center Shuttle bus to the metro Bicycles can be rented cheaply (8€/half day) friendly staff large plotMinusuriOnly cold water in wash house 3 (and no information about it) weak WLAN (only strong around the entrance/reception) quite noisy (road and weir) Children from 8 years pay full price Store quite expensive (double the price of normal stores, triple the price of discounters) No football pitch for kids (only small playground and 1 volleyball court), in case of rain only 1 table football, TV and 1 pool table)Only cold water, weak WLAN, quite loud, children pay full priceIf you want to take a shower in the morning and only then realize that you only have cold water in wash house 3 despite the premium price, that's annoying! Even more annoying is that there is no information or advice about this and you only find out when you ask at the reception 300m away that the problem... has been known for days but the repair will take longer and you should use other wash houses.
The staff are always friendly, but ultimately not prepared to make concessions because of the cold water, especially not to reduce the price.
As at the Huttopia Camping Versailles (there only from the age of 11), children (here from the age of 8!) cost the full adult price, so that the four of us ended up paying around €60/night in the low season after Easter.
Not much is really offered in return: the weak WiFi was only sporadically available with a low data rate at our rather northern pitch 300m from reception.
There is only a children's playground (double swing, climbing facility, seesaw animals) and a hard volleyball court, no football pitch for kids and no pool like at other Huttopia campsites.
When it rains, the kids only have 1 table football table, 1 TV and 1 pool table - far too few for the many pitches.
It is also quite noisy due to either the busy road to the east or the weir on the Seine to the west.
On the plus side, the location close to the center and the shuttle bus to the metro (which only runs hourly in the mornings and late afternoons in the low season, €1/ride).
Bicycles can be rented cheaply (8€/half day + deposit).
Another positive aspect is that some of the pitches are very large - 2 large motorhomes would have fitted on our pitch - however, there is only electricity (extra charge) and no water on site.Tradus automat. - Wolfgang B.October 2021PlusuriClose to Paris center, bus to the city in front of the squareMinusuriGastronomy somewhat plain.Good place, ideal for a visit to Paris! We stayed on the site for one night and would stay here again if necessary. The site is located between the Seine and the Bois de Boulogne. Clean, quiet site with lots of trees. Ideal: the direct bus stops at the entrance and shuttles into the city (Porte Maillot). The restaurant was a bit plain and the choice of dishes very poor, so only something for (hunger) emergencies. Otherwise O.K.Tradus automat.
- Ralf O.July 2021Plusuri-close to the center -Good transport connectionsMinusuri-High price -Number of sanitary unitsClose to the actionVery well located for a visit to Paris. Good transport links with shuttle service.
Catering for this type of facility also ok. However, nearest supermarket far away. The sanitary facilities should be increased in number, as they are frequented by almost all guests at the same time. Cleanliness at peak times could also be improved.
All in all, however, complaining on a high levelTradus automat. - Kerstin S.August 2020PlusuriClean, friendly, spontaneousMinusuriDirectly at a weir, sometimes very noisySuper nice placeGreat campsite, clean, shady, friendly staff.
The downside is really the weir. This was a bit noisy, so keep an eye out when choosing a pitch. Otherwise a great place. Only 6 km by bike to the Eiffel Tower. I didn't know that Paris now has so many well-developed cycle paths. We even cycled to Versailles, 14 km, with good e-bikes rented at the campsite. However, there were two tricky sections along the way. So you should be an experienced... cyclist. There is a bakery on the campsite that sells fresh baguettes and croissants.
The site is too shady for me to spend a longer vacation here, which is of course a real advantage in summer.Tradus automat. - Michael T.December 2019PlusuriShuttle bus to Paris Shopping facilities with good parking facilities in SuresnesMinusuriBad W LanSuper for city campingWe would have spent a week with our caravan at Camping de Paris over Christmas 2019... - Uwe M.October 2019PlusuriTop location for Paris cheap shuttle busMinusuriSanitary facilities could be cleaner noisy streetPractical for Paris sightseeing but noisyWe were there with a caravan for a long weekend in Paris. The journey there was characterized by chaotic traffic - typical for Paris. As the campsite is practically in the city, you have to struggle through the traffic. On the other hand, the site is an ideal starting point for sightseeing. Registration... was easy, quick and reasonably friendly (this was due to the lady at reception, who seemed a little bored and listless; another couple at the parallel counter was served with much more enthusiasm). The square is overgrown with tall, old chestnut trees. This means that virtually the entire square is protected by a dense canopy of leaves. In the hot summer this is certainly an ideal source of shade, but now in late summer the square looks very gloomy. Accordingly, satellite reception is only possible on a handful of pitches (we had no. 131, which was fine). But these are very popular. When we packed up on the day of departure, we were approached by three other campers asking if the pitch was now free. When we drove off the pitch, there was already a motorhome next to it waiting for us to leave. The pitches are very large, so even larger caravans or motorhomes can easily find space. The pitches are gravelled and sufficiently level (at least most of them are). The pitches are separated by hedges. Four pitches always share a pillar with electricity and water at one corner, so short distances are guaranteed here. The access roads are paved and sufficiently wide. The campsite is very large and has two sanitary buildings. These take some getting used to, as they are unisex. The showers (hot water included) and toilets are fine, as they are shielded. However, it does take some getting used to when a stranger of the opposite sex is standing next to you while you wash. Unfortunately, there is not much room for improvement in terms of cleanliness in the toilet area. The small store on the square has a good range of products and the prices are absolutely fine. We bought baguettes, which were great for a campsite at €1.50. The site was very full, even in October, so a reservation is advisable. But at around 140€ for three nights with two adults, two dogs, caravan incl. electricity is fine for Paris. For 2€ per adult there is a shuttle bus directly from the campsite to the Maillot metro station, which is very practical. With a day pass for public transport in zones 1 + 2 (enough for all the main sights) for €7.50 per adult, you have everything covered and are mobile for the day. Even though the road running alongside the campsite is very busy around the clock and therefore quite noisy, the site is highly recommended for sightseeing in Paris. It is not recommended as a "recreational site".Tradus automat.
- Heiko M.August 2019Plusuriperfect for sightseeingMinusuriPitches very narrowperfect for sightseeingThe site was perfect for us for a few days visiting Paris. The access road with a 2.5 x 8.6 caravan is a bit narrow, but doable. Pitches are rather small. We were unable to park the vehicle on the pitch.
There is a relatively large area for tents. It can therefore get a bit noisy at times, but it was quiet again at night.
We would come back to the site at any time for a visit to Paris. However, we would spend a longer vacation somewhere else.Tradus automat. - E. - Anita K.July 2019PlusuriThe proximity to Paris.MinusuriThe cleanliness of the sanitary facilities.Beautiful place in ParisA very nicely located campsite in Paris. The welcome was very friendly and the staff very helpful. The pitches are pleasantly large. The shuttle to the nearest metro station is very positive. The store on the site has everything you need at short notice. About the sanitary facilities. Although these... were more or less cleaned regularly, they were unfortunately left behind by the campers. It is also a shame that broken things like toilet seats are not repaired promptly. The site is really nice, but unfortunately it is not left in a decent condition by the campers.Tradus automat.

- Tolgah A.April 2019PlusuriLocation, large plots, supermarket, new sanitary facilitiesMinusuriNoisy street, mixed sanitary facilities, insufficient water pressureRecommendedWe visited the Camping de Paris for the first time in April 19. The location is ideal for a visit to Paris. The shuttle bus to the nearest metro station runs every 30 minutes, but costs €2 per person per journey. The nearby road is easy to hear, but the site is still very quiet. Large pitches for tents... with electricity available. The sanitary facilities are mixed for men and women. Unfortunately, they are always well attended and tend to be full at peak times. The showers then run correspondingly little water. The temperature is also very difficult to regulate.Tradus automat.
- Peter L.April 2019Plusuri- Location - Shuttle bus - small supermarket with the most important groceries and fresh bread in the morningMinusuri- Sanitary facilities scarce when fully occupied - somewhat unkempt pitches - Price rather highGreat location for sightseeingIt's clear that you don't get the best pitches when it's busy and without a reservation. But the fact that the pitch is right next to a sanitary building that has been taken out of service (for reasons that are not understandable) is a bit annoying. 300 m to the nearest sanitary facilities and also to... the nearest water point is quite a thing. The restaurant was sometimes open and sometimes closed, although the flyer at reception advertised continuous opening hours. The shuttle bus to the Porte Maillot metro station runs every half hour and is practical. A bit expensive for a family of four (almost 16 EUR there and back). Electricity failed on our pitch once, but after 600m to the reception and 10 min in the queue, this was solved within 2 hours. Price also rather high, 290 EUR for 5 nights. But it's Paris and the tourists come anyway, even if not everything is perfect. It was the same with us ;)Tradus automat.
