The reception staff were very friendly. Our booked pitch was very dirty. All the alternative pitches were very uneven. In the evening our neighbors on the pitches were joined by several motorhomes and... vans that were left in the middle of the road.
The sanitary facilities were clean, but unfortunately there was always a strong smell. Certainly much more appealing in spring, summer and fall.Tradus automat.

This can be somewhat disruptive on the adjacent pitches.
The pitch is not so big, which has advantages because of the inner restlessness. Only the sanitary facilities in the rear area are very noisy, the men's toilets are "open", the flushing and... the automatic slamming of the doors is annoying, especially at night, but they are very clean.
The site was clean, an employee regularly checked the cleanliness and condition of the facilities.

A beautifully laid out site. Plots available in all sizes.
There are two sanitary buildings, one right next to the reception and one in the lower part of the site. These are very clean. It's a bit unusual that there are no toilet seats and you just sit on the edge of the ceramic bowl.
Furthermore,... the shower temperature in the lower wash house can NOT be adjusted. There was simply no mixer. The water is a little too hot for men, but just warm enough for women.
The temperature of the washing-up water cannot be adjusted either, it is supposed to be 50 degrees.
Well, apparently different temperature standards apply in France :-)
The staff at reception are very friendly and courteous. You can order bread rolls or
rolls or baguettes can be ordered the evening before.
The entrance and exit is secured by a barrier and a multi-digit code that you have to enter at a desk at the barrier. Stupid if you can't reach the keypad in your motorhome.
Nowadays, you can also imagine other technical access restrictions than such
a multi-digit code that you also have to enter at the exit.
There is also a playground and a boules court, which no French campsite should be without.

Als Unterkunft wählten wir den Campingplatz "Riquewihr". Wir waren mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden. Wunderschöne Landschaft, Sauberkeit, ausgezeichnete Sanitäranlagen, freundliches Personal, das Fremdsprachen spricht. Auf dem Campingplatz... finden Verkostungen lokaler Weine statt, es besteht die Möglichkeit, heiße Pizza oder gegrilltes Hähnchen zu kaufen, ein Croissant und ein Baguette zum Frühstück zu bestellen. Die Lage des Campingplatzes fanden wir sehr gelungen. Es liegt fast im Zentrum der Hauptattraktionen. Während unseres Urlaubs konnten wir mit dem Fahrrad das Schloss in Kaysersberg, Ribeauville, Riquewihr und Vincent Spannagels Weingut in Katzentheil besichtigen. Wir empfehlen es.Tradus automat.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
The pitch size is more than generous, the ground consists of meadow with... some gravel, the pitches are separated by e.g. hedges. Water and electricity directly at the pitch.
Unfortunately there is no store or restaurant on site, but in the evening a food truck and alternately local winegrowers come to the site. The bread roll service here is unbeatably good, the baguette is a must (everything is delicious and reasonably priced).Tradus automat.- Tom K.April 2023PlusuriFriendly welcome, good locationMinusuriHaving to constantly press the button in the shower to avoid standing in the dry ;-)Camping in the vineyards of AlsaceOn our trip through Alsace, we also stopped for two nights at this beautiful campsite in Riquewihr.
Ideal for excursions to the small, wonderfully beautiful, typically Alsatian town of Riquewihr.
We also took the camper van to Colmar for a day, a great town with lots of sights, small stores and vibrant... life.
The campsite is in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards.
We had registered by email the day before and it worked perfectly.
The reception was very friendly and the young lady spoke excellent German.
The pitches are reasonably level, easy to level with wedges and large enough. Water and electricity at the pitch.
Bread roll service at really reasonable prices.
Sanitary area very clean, everything works.
If you want to complain at any price, it is perhaps a bit annoying to have to press the button every 10 seconds when showering to keep the water running.
Disposal point for chemical toilet and gray water easily accessible, also hose to fill up with fresh water.
And all this at an extremely reasonable price of 21 euros including local tax for two people.Tradus automat. 
Edgar H.June 2022PlusuriClose to the city Peace and quietMinusuriReception quality (see remarks)Nice quiet atmosphereIt was very hot and warm on the day we arrived (19.6.2022). The heatwave had parts of Europe in its grip. The temperature was 38° C. Knowing full well that it was lunchtime, we arrived at around 1:10 pm. Two other campers were already waiting and half an hour later there were eight of us. And it was... hot, warm and there was no shade. However, the owner refused to budge, it was lunchtime and there was no exception, despite the heat. Reception quality looks different. I'm sorry, but that's a no-go. A concession would certainly have been appropriate. In my opinion, it has to do with reception quality. In general, the question arises as to why it is closed at all? That's why my rating is unfortunately more relative.
The campsite is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Riquewihr. Huge plots.MinusuriNo obvious regulation in regards to dogs. You can at times not even hear yourself think from unbelievable barking from all over the site. I like dogs, but this is beyond believable. It ruins an otherwise brilliant campsiteBeautiful ... but not so quietBeautiful site but you should bring earmuffs. At a lot of times it is like living in the midst of a kennel. Such a shame because it ruins the holiday completely.Tradus automat.

Christian H.October 2019PlusuriSanitary facilities well heatedMinusuriSomething bothered us, but can't say what?Everything is actually rightThe Riquewihr campsite is a very well-equipped municipal site. We were very surprised that we had to queue at the entrance on September 28. The campsite was very well occupied, too well for us. The nice ladies at the reception speak many different languages, from what I heard, even very well. There are... different sizes of pitches, some even with direct water connections, some of them are a bit sloping. The heated sanitary facilities are pleasant and clean, only the men's toilets, with paper without glasses, are tight with 2 sitting toilets, 2 urinals and 1 disabled toilet. In the other sanitary building, the toilets are outside and therefore unheated. Even during this time, two different food trucks came to the site on two days each. The pizzas were good, and the bread and croissants that could be ordered were also excellent. The storks in the photos are almost always there and are happy when the pizza man happens to drop something from the food truck. You can take the dog for a short evening walk around the adjacent sports field. It's not our campsite, but I can't say what bothered us. The disadvantage is that this sanitary facility is cleaned when the campers go to the toilet in the morning, and then... you often can not get in.you are then sent to the other sanitary, but that was absolutely unacceptable for me.otherwise you can only say good things about the place.Saturday and Monday comes a pizza cart on the square, which has very good pizzas. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is a Mexican food truck on the square which also offers good food. The bread service in the morning is also great and the campsite is dog friendly. There are bags at the exit and on the pitch to remove the business of the four-legged friends. We have two dogs and have always cleaned up after our girls. Unfortunately, there are always a few philistines who don't do this. This gives all dog owners a bad reputation.Tradus automat.

Large pitches, reception uncomplicated, competent and friendly. The entire infrastructure for a camper is available and in good condition. Beautiful, well-kept, green site with some old trees. Sufficiently large pitches parceled out with... hedges. Road noise somewhat audible at rush hour, probably louder at the edge of the site on the road. We had a pitch at the other end. We particularly liked the daily changing "catering service" in the evening hours. The original paella (seafood, mussels and chicken) prepared on site was simply delicious. We also liked the stork, which strolled relaxed between the campers. The medieval town center of Riquewihr can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes and by bike in 5 minutes.
