We had booked a pitch with private sanitary facilities. A brand-new wooden hut with toilet area, shower area, washbasin and fridge incl. freezer compartment, plus a small veranda with sink and barbecue.... Spotlessly clean.
Many pitches have sea views and shade from the trees.
You can walk directly onto the beach (a kind of lagoon) from several parts of the campsite. Due to the ebb and flow of the tide, there were some strong currents, so I don't think it's safe for children to swim. The ground is a mixture of sand and gravel with large stones in between. Bathing shoes are recommended here. Many SUPers were out on the water.
The swimming pool is a paradise, as it is beautifully laid out and planted and was always spotlessly clean and there was always a lounger to be had. Two lifeguards kept a constant eye on safety. The adjoining indoor pool had sliding doors open to the outdoor pool. Like the outdoor pool, it also had a nice children's area.
We didn't use the public sanitary facilities or the wellness area, so I can't say anything about them.
The newly opened action hall (included service) is a kind of play paradise for children, as is often the case in the Netherlands. A little dark, but beautifully designed, so that children can have fun there for a long time and let off steam (climbing, jumping, jumping, riding...). It's a shame that the brand new outdoor playground is located directly at the entrance, i.e. not in the center of the site. On the other hand, this may also make the site quieter.
Quiet and relaxed in the evening, as shows and entertainment were held in the bar (inside).
There are some great towns with a medieval flair in the surrounding area (Locronan, Quimper...)
A great place that I can definitely recommend. What makes it special? Despite its size, the site is quiet. The pitches are large. The staff are very friendly and helpful. But what makes it special is the location with its unique beach. The dune in front creates a very special flair due to the tides. Letting yourself drift out at low tide is a must.Tradus automat.
Lars D.July 2020Plusuri+ Directly on the water/beach + Beautiful area + Premium pitches with 110 or 150 sqm + Shady and sunny pitches + Dogs allowed both on the pitch and on the beach allowedMinusuri- Standard seats quite small and close together on top of each other - noisy - Cleanliness in the sanitary area (especially in the the showers) - Implementation of the measures to contain measures to contain the corona pandemic not sufficient - Waste station outside the campsite (=> long distances, cumbersome organization) - Cashless payment system (with credit card card or a chip that is in the wristband is found in the wristband => for the refund of money Registration with "cashless.fr" mandatory) - Very uneven standard pitches (leveling difficult and sometimes only possible with only possible with wheel chocks)Place with nice location but not worth 4 starsWe found the campsite far too noisy and the sanitary facilities not clean enough. Especially with regard to Corona, they were not cleaned properly enough. It was/is assumed that wiping the toilets with a surface disinfectant is enough. In the two weeks we were there, none of the toilets or toilet seats... saw water from the staff. The showers were always full of sand and you had to clean them yourself. Only the passageway through the showers was cleaned with a mop. I don't think this is sufficient for a 4 star place. There was thick dust fluff in the corners of the shower cubicles, even on raised plinths or wall finishes. There were stains on the walls for days. I also found it a pity that in the areas of the standard pitches (islands with about 5-6 pitches) not a little care was taken to distribute the campers "sensibly". So there were islands where 2 pitches were occupied although there were 5 pitches and there were islands where all 5 pitches were occupied and if you could have, you would have squeezed a tent somewhere in between. It is therefore essential to book/take a premium pitch with 110 or 150 square meters. The campsite itself is large and very noisy when almost full. Even after 11 p.m., children and teenagers run noisily around the site without being disturbed by the night watchman. But even during the day you can hear everything that happens on the island. The seats by the sea are nice, but they are also very cramped. The cashless payment system seems practical at first, but then has its pitfalls, as you have to register online for any refunds and children ultimately have no overview of their pocket money.
No more "Camping du Letty" for usTradus automat.- Ulla B.July 2020PlusuriBeach location, Swimming in the lagoon, Dogs allowed on the beachMinusuriSorry, the greatest place but unfortunately, despite several complaints, they are not able to provide SEIFE at the washhouse even in summer 2020. We were in the back part of the pitch in the area of an old wash house, where they apparently believe that they have sufficiently fulfilled the Covid regulations with alcohol gel and Bactolin spray (a surface disinfectant). I found that scandalous. Despite repeated reminders, the issue was probably seen as a nuisance. Even though "traditionally" there is often no soap in the toilets in France, I found this disgusting. Even with children, who have been taught the rules of hygiene, it is difficult to convey this. What a shame. We hope we haven't been infected. New cashless payment system. Cash is booked onto a chip bracelet. The remaining amount has to be refunded via a French website. Difficult with children who lose track of their pocket money. Supermarket selection is poor and expensive.Covid 19 ?!? Washing your hands should help...I found the disadvantages so serious that the overall impression for me was unfortunately not positive. Unfortunately, despite the current situation due to the significant increase in Covid 19 cases in Brittany, the campsite was unable to provide basic hand washing soap. From my point of view, this is... completely out of the question for a 4-star campsite, Covid or not, not being able to wash your hands after going to the toilet is a mess even without Covid 19.Tradus automat.

Cabins small.Too loud and boring for us, there are nicer and better located onesPlace partly on the street and noisy. No peace and quiet. Not a very nice place to stroll. Washing cubicles very small with 180 /72 kg you have to leave the door open to bend down. Toilets and washrooms M/W together. Slides were never on for us. Water rather cold. To see beautiful scenery you have to... leave the campsite. We were annoyed by the noise from the road after 2 days and left the site every day. The store is very expensive. That's why it's better to shop outside. With small children still OK in a quieter place. From the age of 12, it quickly gets boring if you are not out and about, as there is often no water in the lagoon due to low and high tide, except early in the morning and in the evening. Here you have to book in advance and don't get any money back if you leave beforehand. Now we know why. Other places do it differently. Never again for us. We have found much nicer and cheaper ones through our excursions which also have a better location.Tradus automat.

The sanitary facilities show the different years of construction, but all are very well maintained and clean. The pool area is great and the beach area is also great and clean.... However, the Atlantic water is quite cool. The activities for young and old are great. We watched the evening shows ourselves 1-2 times while enjoying a delicious cocktail. The pitches are very large, even on the standard pitch.
Neg: The old CP in front of the barrier is not recommendable. Lots of shade and no showers on site.
The pitch cannot be booked directly.
Conclusion: Great CP. We will definitely be back. It is easy to reach and the paths to the pitches are wide enough, even for larger caravans. There are comfort pitches on separate plots and standard pitches, which are also separated and very large. All pitches are... grass pitches and very well maintained. There are plenty of water points. Some of the pitches have slopes, but these can easily be leveled out. The sanitary facilities are old, but always clean and in good condition, and there are plenty of them, so there are no waiting times even in the high season. In addition to its own beach, the campsite has a great pool area and an indoor pool. The campsite is ideal for families, but also suitable for couples.Tradus automat.

Beautiful, large pitches on grass. The sanitary facilities are always clean and are still being cleaned at 11pm. Great swimming pool and super nice beach. Depending on the tide, the current between this... headland and the beach can be quite strong, but it's fun to walk or swim there. Very rocky and seaweedy in places. There is a well-stocked supermarket and a good snack bar. The village can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. A little longer along the beautiful beach. Never a problem for our dogs. Super clean!The campsite is quite large, but doesn't seem so due to its layout. We were there for a week in the high season. Nevertheless, it was quiet at night and there was plenty of space. The sanitary facilities are older and from a time when there was no gender segregation. That's why you can't get rid of this... touch even after renovation. The facilities were always spotlessly clean, and that should be the most important thing. You can reach the sea quickly from every pitch, only the "Premium Sea" pitches are in the first row by the sea and have direct access. That's very chic! Waste disposal needs to be reconsidered: there are containers at the exit of the campsite, but guests standing at the other end of the campsite have to walk really far. A second place would be great. Swimming pool, bar, store and the take-away snack bar are great. WLAN costs €15 extra for a week and can only be used with one device. Bénodet can be reached via a great coastal path, about 3 km. The pitches are very large, we were in the first row to the sea with direct access. Dogs are allowed on the beach on a lead, we had no problems with our two. There is a large outdoor and indoor pool. There is a wide range... of sports activities. The sanitary facilities are currently being renovated but are all clean. The town is a 20-minute walk away. Getting a pitch was no problem due to the size of the site, very spacious, yet it doesn't give the impression of a mass site. Hedges and other planting make the site "small". The international mix of guests is interesting. The proximity to the water is great. Leisure activities are possible in many ways, not only for water sports enthusiasts....eher a little exotic, there are 2 super great golf courses 6 km and 17 km away! The pitches are of a reasonable size and equipment, the sanitary facilities are not the newest but mostly... clean. There is a nice swimming area for children, which is also well filled if the weather is bad. There is a market and a pizza/pasta/service on site, which is ok but not cheap. The surrounding area of Benodet, Quemper etc is very picturesque in parts and we liked it very muchTradus automat.

Björn S.August 2013The campsite is fantastic and located directly by the sea. The beach is strongly influenced by the tides and is relatively rocky. However, there is a kind of sandbank in front of it, which you can easily reach by dinghy/kayak or on foot at low tide, making swimming possible at any time. In addition to... the sea, there is a very well-kept and clean pool area with slides, which is an absolute highlight. The campsite makes a good overall impression, is lovingly planted and offers large pitches where you can also park your car. Mini club, sports facilities, wellness and disco are available and attractively designed. The site is quiet and is guarded at night. When choosing a pitch, I recommend the areas to the left of the swimming pool or by the sea and segments with few pitches. The pitches on the access road somehow give you the feeling of not really being on the site. The staff are friendly and helpful, the crowd was 2/4 English, 1/4 French and 1/4 German. Unnecessarily, the campsite is at a disadvantage with the sanitary facilities. The shower and toilet cubicles are too small, the furnishings are spartan and the facilities are unclean and smelly. The sanitary blocks are apparently never thoroughly cleaned, but only given a rough sweep. The operators should urgently make improvements here. For us, this was the reason not to book again straight away, because otherwise we had a great three weeks there. The playground, which couldn't have been more remote, so that the children always have to negotiate the whole of the busy driveway on the way there. Not without danger and not manageable for small children on their own. Very friendly staff. Great swimming pool. Beach could be a bit better maintained, but probably difficult due to constantly changing tides. Sanitary facilities outdated, which doesn't have to be negative in principle, but was here, as they were... still quite dirty. In the 17 days we were there, they weren't even cleaned thoroughly, but only superficially swept, but never cleaned with water in any way. Only the toilet bowls/toilet seats were sprayed with some kind of liquid and wiped down. The supermarket was ok for daily needs, but sometimes very expensive (sometimes three times the price of the supermarket) and could have been better sorted. Some of the fruit and vegetables on offer were very old and no longer edible or sellable. During our stay, the place was heavily frequented by English people, usually in large groups. Especially in the evening, usually just before bedtime, it was often very loud. Unfortunately, the site management didn't do much about it. By the time the security came and pointed out the night's rest, it had already been in force for at least an hour. Snack bar is ok, but always a very long wait as it is relatively small. We didn't try the restaurant. Despite everything, we had a nice vacation and would come back, but not again in the high season.Tradus automat.
