- Andreas S.August 2020PlusuriIf you're not looking for the typical Greek, winding and sometimes inaccessible squares, but rather one with a higher standard, you'll be happy hereMinusuriNo high wavesThe cleanest and perfectly positioned course in GreeceAn extremely well-kept, level campsite with lots of naturally and artificially shaded pitches in the picturesque bay of Navarino. The small village of Gialova is only a few hundred meters away and invites you to dine or stroll in the evening. The very original village of Pylos is opposite the bay. Adjacent... is the golden bay and the ox-bellied bay of Voidikilia. Behind the campsite is the huge bird sanctuary, which is a nature reserve. There are pitches for everyone, whether with a large motorhome on the parceled-out pitches or with tents in the open area of the olive garden.Tradus automat.
- Paulo S.September 2019PlusuriVery friendly staffMinusuriA feeling like being in a parking lotParking lot feelingWe went to this campsite because the reviews were so good. But I was extremely disappointed. It is well known that German campers in particular like to park on pitches, but here it feels like a parking lot. The pitches are so small that normally one and a half vehicles could park on them. If you're unlucky,... there are large motorhomes to the right and left and you're staring at white walls that are no more than 1.5 meters away from you. I have been camping for over 30 years and have experienced many good and bad pitches, I also know that good and bad are subjective, but here it is a fact that the pitches are more like a parking bay in a "metro parking lot" than a campsite. The site has been on my "blacklist" ever since and I won't be able to recommend it to anyone who still knows what camping means.Tradus automat.
- Andrea M.September 2019PlusuriSanitary good- very clean, location good, close to the beachMinusuriParking lot "idyll", beach only moderate,Disappointing - feels like being in a parking lotAfter reading many positive reviews (from travel guides and the Internet), we decided to spend a few days at the campsite. But we were horrified at how tightly parceled out the pitches were! Crammed in, a W-mobile on the right, a W-mobile on the left, a sun awning above us, and us with our little EribaOldie... in between. Acsi was not accepted, although it was on the list. We paid €28 and were gone the next morning, so for us it was a complete disaster. We like to be freer, we like it more natural, with more nature and trees for shade and not as an oil sardine under plastic hoods.Tradus automat.
- Alexandros L.August 2019PlusuriDirectly by the sea, sun loungers and umbrellas availableClean campsite right by the seaAll in all, the site is recommendable. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. You can eat well in the village, there are bars and tavernas.Tradus automat.
- Barbara E.June 2019PlusuriQuietMinusurino real disadvantages if you don't want variety but peace and quiet - but no activities from the campsiteRecommended if you are looking for peace and quietOnly lukewarm to cold water in the morning Good food Friendly service Not very well-kept beach with lots of branches lying aroundTradus automat.
- Wolfgang V.September 2018PlusuriGreat for surfersMinusuriUnsuitable for camping vacationers without surfing ambitions.Surfing spotLots of surfers on the site, only a small bathing area otherwise surfers. Swimming outside the bathing area is dangerous (surfers), the first few meters into the water is coarse gravel, then sand with plants. Beach not very lush.Tradus automat.
- Rolf u. Verena G.May 2018PlusuriBeachMinusuriNarrow parking spaces......Good locationToo bad, but the pitches are very narrow and you don't have much privacy. OK for 1-2 nights. The sanitary facilities are clean and there is a mini-market with the essentials. The restaurant offers a good selection of.... at reasonable prices. The beach is ok.Tradus automat.
- Gérard d.May 2018PlusuriVery good infrastructure, taverna, large mini market, sanitary facilities, shadeMinusuriCan quickly become very crowded and cramped, constant overflight of fighter planes, sometimes large groups of young people at the siteOne of the perfect places in GreeceVery, very well organized CP with really very good German standards: extremely clean pitches, partly shaded by poplars or mats, paved access roads, modern restaurant and great mini market (the absolutely best equipped of our trip), 3 large sanitary areas, rental bungalows, washing machine, kitchen, ironing... room - everything at its best. The resort is run by a consortium in line with industry standards. Well guarded, very friendly staff, narrow but long beach, great excursion options, even on foot! In May 2018, the site was about 70% full, many WOMOs, the first line by the sea was completely taken. Reservations are possible and recommended on this pitch! We are not the comfort campers, but this place is definitely a highlight that you don't expect in Greece. Discounts from 3 or 10 nights! The disadvantages: even in the NS, you're usually standing close together, 3 times a week busloads of young people are poured out to camp for 2 nights and drive on. Guided WOMO tours from Berlinski also have their base here with mega WOMOs. Well, they are a little further on in the olive grove, but they still stream through the campsite to the beach. Military aerobatic planes fly over the area almost continuously from 7.30 am to 6 pm, but you get used to the constant whining (since 2005). They say they don't fly in July/Aug. I find it funny that there are sometimes expedition vehicles or GS drivers on this campsite, which don't fit in at all with this tourist industrial complex. Oh yes - unfortunately I only had hot water on 50% of the days - either it was still too cool for the solar panels or 200 people were drawing hot water. The bathing temperature in May is around 19°, but is quite variable in the bay, sometimes quite cold, then a little warmer. If you find this campsite too civilized, you should move on to FINIKES or TSAPI (small vehicles only). We were very impressed with both. TIP: in Pylos there is a bypass road from the Hotel Philipp around Pylos. For WOMOs, there are pitches at the port of Pylos for one night.Tradus automat.
- Tom B.September 2017PlusuriVery well maintainedOx belly bay not far awayEverything very clean. Good location to visit the ox belly bay. It's also worth going to Gialova for a meal. Various restaurants right by the sea - very romantic - not a tourist trap.Tradus automat.
- Sandra R.July 2017Plusuri+ Very clean sanitary facilities + Well-equipped mini-market + Free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beachMinusuriActually none, anything else would be whining at a high levelBest campsite on our Peloponnese tripWe stayed at the Erodios campsite for 6 nights. As it is very busy, we had booked a few days in advance by e-mail, which was necessary. In return, we had a spacious pitch for our not-so-small caravan near the sea. Mesh roofs and trees provide shade. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are cleaned... regularly. There is even a shower curtain in the shower so that your clothes don't get wet. The only negative point is that there are no toilet seats. The minimarket offers everything for daily needs, bread until the evening, fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is said to be good and reasonably priced, but we didn't try it. The sandy beach is very beautiful and the sea is rather calm due to the bay, even when it's windy. Nevertheless, there are lots of surfers and kitesurfers. A big plus: free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach, which we didn't have anywhere else. We explored the lagoon by bike and also visited the beautiful Voidokoilia Bay. The village of Gialova with its many tavernas can be reached on foot on the beach path in about 10 minutes. However, we can highly recommend the Katerina taverna in Romanos (a little further north). Katerina still cooks here herself, even in her old age! A trip to Methoni and Koroni is also very nice, as is a hike to the Polylimnio waterfalls with its cool bathing bays (approx. 20 km in the direction of Kalamata). Tip: don't stay at the first big waterfall, but continue up the iron steps in the wall. It is less crowded there. We found out later that there is also a circular route, you might want to ask at the parking lot cafe.Tradus automat.
- Юрий К.September 2015We love it.We come to this camping fifth time for 5 -6 weeks rest, clean, quiet, clear water, near the island monument to Russian sailors killed in the Battle of Chesmen. Greeks are very careful with it. In our opinion one of the best camping. Yuri Agata and our foxterrier KuzyaTradus automat.
- George M.August 2015great!Great camping with all the infrastructure, affordable restaurant, wonderful beaches. Shadow Where did the "gap" go?Tradus automat.
- Alfred G.May 2014PlusuriVery well-kept placeBeautiful, well-kept place in Navarino BayThe site is approx. 7-8km from Pylos. Gialova is approx. 1-2km away. Pitches on grassy ground, shaded by trees and mostly by mat roofs. Sanitary facilities very clean, are cleaned regularly. Discharge points for camping toilets and a disposal point for WM waste water are available. WLAN free of charge,... although the signal is sometimes weak. The site owner and staff take great care of the guests. A well-stocked supermarket and self-service restaurant round off the facilities. Own olive oil available. Narrow but long pebble beach.Tradus automat.
- Daniela & Dominic H.October 2013The campsite actually only deserved 4.5 stars, we were bothered by the small pitches (we were able to occupy two pitches in the low season) and the lack of toilet seats. Otherwise we had nothing to complain about, the location directly on the sandy beach, the supermarket and the food on offer in the... restaurant were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Supposedly there should be WiFi throughout the site. During our visit, the Wi-Fi antenna was defective due to a storm and Wi-Fi was only available in the restaurant area.Tradus automat.
- Joachim T.September 2013Apart from the very good facilities and cleanliness and the location close to some of the sights, I don't understand why the site is still so crowded in the off-season. The pitches are close together and the sandy beach is quite narrow.Tradus automat.
- Angelo F.August 2013Very nice campsite. One of the best found in Greece. The front pitches (near the sea) are suitable for windsurfers. If you want tranquility I recommend placing the camper in the olive grove. You will enjoy tranquility and peace in a truly bucolic situation. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. German... rigor in running the campground by the property: good! The spaiggia of the campsite is ugly but in a few km you reach the best part of the lagoon of Gialova and Voidokillia.Tradus automat.
- Alan Y.May 2013Returning for 3rd timeSpend 10 weeks here in the low season and enjoyed every minute of it.Great for retired couples and to meet regular visitors! Very friendly staff and the boss Efthimios who will do anything to make you welcome and look after your wishes! Toilets and wash rooms spotless, cleaned every few hours! If you want quiet, relaxing time by the beach, this is the site not to be missed. We will come back! Back in 2014 and 2015 again, recommended to all!!
