An ideal starting point for cultural events, sights and experiences. We and the children felt really at home. Friendliness and cleanliness were dominant. Wanted to go to the site for the 2nd time! But no one could be reached by phone or email! On arrival we were told that we could not come to the site because our Womo is a double axle! Maybe you can understand that, but when they say you... have to make a reservation and don't respond to my objection, that's not very customer-friendly! And the icing on the cake is to then claim that my husband had already been turned away in the morning! It's a shame that it went like this, but they won't be seeing us again!Tradus automat.

Children are not welcomeWhat a pity! Such a great location, but very unfriendly serviceWe had booked for three days and asked for an extension for another three days as soon as we arrived. We were told that we would have to change places, but that there were still two free places. Our frequent questions about which pitch we would have to change to were always answered with: "I'll tell... you then, I have to check first".... The manager was visibly overworked. On the morning of the last day of the booking, she told us, again when asked, that we had to leave after all, she had allocated the two seats in the meantime. No regrets, tough, unfriendly. We had to pack up within an hour. We had probably made ourselves unpopular because relatives from the village had visited us in the evening. This has never led to problems on any campsite in the world, but there is a strict regime here.Tradus automat.

The operators gave me a very friendly welcome. The site is of a manageable size and, despite its proximity to the lake, is not a typical beach campsite as the site is separated by a fence. The lake can still be reached at any time through a gate. I think this is a very good solution, as it means it's quiet in the evenings, even though the lake is still busy.Tradus automat.

Restaurants and stores within easy reach.MinusuriOnly one central sanitary area with three washing-up facilities and a water point. No catering and sales on site.Cozy vacation spot without frillsWe were there in the high season with advance booking, which is really necessary at Lake Constance. As there is a lot going on there, the campsite has to be managed with aplomb, which it is, but not to the detriment of the visitors. Nevertheless, I find it all a bit stressful, but that certainly has... something to do with Lake Constance in August and not primarily with the campsite itself. The site is relatively small. Of course, you notice this in the sanitary area or when washing up when the pitch is full. The pitches are usually full at peak times. So you have to go to the loo or flush acyclically, then everything is fine. Depending on where you stand, you don't have much of a view. The beach is easy to reach without a road, but very rocky, so you need flip-flops. Although the site itself is almost in the village, you have peace and quiet. A good bakery and a great butcher can be reached on foot or by bike. There is also a small and complete but manageable supermarket on site. You have to drive further for larger items. Ideal for bikes; almost too many bikes on the road. You get the feeling that half of Germany is cycling around Lake Constance. Very clean. The pitches are of average size. A few large trees provide shade if you're lucky enough to get one.Tradus automat.- Enzo B.August 2015Small but niceStayed for 2 nights with a child. Unfortunately, the 2nd time we were in the permanent campers' corner, or right in the middle of it. The first time we were told that part of our pitch was the passageway to the toilet, which was often used, of course without saying hello, even when someone... walked 20cm past our table while we were eating. Our son, who was 2 at the time, was also considered a nuisance as he was too loud at 8 in the morning (in the caravan). Conclusion: If you don't end up in permanent camper limbo, the site is recommendable.Tradus automat.
