And we were lucky, there were still 3 pitches available. One was in the immediate vicinity of the lake, and we decided on this one. This was a mistake.... The pitches by the lake are relatively narrow and can only be used in the direction of travel, otherwise parts of the motorhome block the lane. And you can't see much of the lake, it's just a shorter walk to the beach. The sanitary facilities were in a clean condition, although they can be used by all beach visitors. We can recommend the "canteen" on the campsite. We ate well and sufficiently here and at a reasonable price. What we didn't like at all, however, were the campers who didn't care about the privacy of OTHER campers. don't care. The narrow passageway behind our camper van and our neighbors' tent was constantly regarded as the latter, as the path to the toilet was 10 meters shorter. Even our children still enjoy coming here as adults. Family-friendly and relatively quiet.MinusuriWhat I really don't like is when I reserve and pay for a certain seat days in advance and someone stands in my seat and tells me I can stand wherever I want. I conveyed my displeasure to the registration desk with the reply, "I can't control where people stand either. It is the duty of the employees to check whether people are standing in the right place, so that some displeasure could be avoided. A tip to the campers who simply stand on paid pitches, you're just causing trouble. If I call there several times a day and nobody answers the phone, that's not so nice either. But since Friday, the jet skis have been driving around the lake like crazy. You can smell the exhaust fumes in the naturist area and the noise is unacceptable. Quite quiet and the sanitary facilities/activities are also very close by. However, the food is inedible, we had experience with smelly and moldy ice cream waffles, string fries and dry fish/ cutlets. If you're looking for something to eat for lunch here, you'd better... get in the car and drive to the next town. The showers are really clean, but €1 for a 3-minute shower is far too much. I'm sorry, but I've really visited better campsites in this areaTradus automat.

A very friendly welcome and treats for the dog. Free choice of pitches, spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful beach with a great sunbathing lawn. The bakery is open in the mornings, with... good bread rolls and sweet pastries. There is also a snack bar, but we didn't try it. Once a week, a flying trader comes with smoked fish.... Delicious! Restaurant in the village within walking distance, next village 15 min by bike. Apropos: great cycle paths around the lake and the surrounding area. However, a cell phone navigation system is an advantage. Bathing area and pitches relatively small.Our second visitJust like last year, we were drawn to the Halbendorfer See (naturist site) again this year and this won't be our last visit. It's a very good place for people who are looking for peace and quiet but still want to be active. We particularly like the well-developed cycle paths around the lake and in the... surrounding area. The naturist site is somewhat smaller and more informal than the textile site, and the people (including permanent campers) are nice and friendly. Electricity connections are close to all pitches, water only a few meters away. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but you need tokens to shower, which in our opinion is not really up to date. It would be nice if a bakery van came by in the morning, although it's not far to the nearest bakery even by bike. I would also like to have Wi-Fi on site, which should not be absolutely necessary on vacation, but would be quite pleasant if you want to plan an excursion. Conclusion: Highly recommended for a short vacation or a long weekend. We would love to come back!Tradus automat.

Toni A.June 2017PlusuriPeace, nice naturists, great lake - less than 10 m from the tent, pure landscape and natureMinusuriWhen full, then quite cramped: 4 parties per plotNaked facts - or Halbendorf 2.0 :)After the fresh stay in the Thuringian Forest, we were happy to arrive a few days later at the campsite on Halbendorfer See. It consists of two parts: 1) for tidy people with clothes (incl. public swimming pool) and 2) for fun-loving naked people - also known as nudists or naturists. We opted for the... CP with the nude facts, mainly because it is quieter and the public swimming pool is on the opposite side of the lake. There are (unfortunately) the obligatory permanent CPers and then about ten 4-person pitches on the "through route" from the CP, so in principle there is space for four tents/WoMos etc. each. We were initially alone on one of these pitches, but on the third day we were joined by a camper van. If everything was full, it would certainly be very turbulent, plus you'd be sitting on your neighbor's lap with your bare backside (not everyone wants that)... But now, in the holiday-free pre-season, it was very relaxed, more of a sedate crowd > 65 years. And as was usual in the former socialist state: even setting up and clearing out 5 minutes after arrival is done without any clothes - which makes everything very uncomplicated and friendly. There is very little shade, the infrastructure on the pitch is okay, the bathing hut is clean and adequate (and very good, as it has an access key!). The special thing about Halbendorf Lake is the nature. Halbendorf used to be an open-cast lignite mining area, but this has been/is being renaturalized for decades. The lake has great, clear water - ideal for a long or even early morning swim. Be sure to bring bikes, as the flat landscape makes cycling great fun! In Halbendorf itself there is a good restaurant "Paulos Landgasthof" and in the nearby village of Schleife there is everything you need for shopping (bakery, discount store, pharmacy...) - here is also the Sorbian Cultural Center, interesting because of the good overview of the history. Not far away are the Fürst Pückler Landscape Park (crosses over to Poland; don't forget your ID) and the brown coal areas with exciting viewpoints. In short: you can also find happiness in Halbendorf, which is a long way from Bonn - we really liked it among the naked people :)Tradus automat.

The site is grassy, partly uneven and parceled out. The operators are very friendly. The reception is only manned on an hourly basis, at least in the low season. If you call the on-call telephone, someone will be there within a few minutes. The sanitary... facilities are simple but very clean. The campsite restaurant was closed, but doesn't make an inviting impression either. Unfortunately, there are the barrier closing times that are common in Germany. Shower and toilet emptying cost extra. The electricity distributors and water taps are very sparsely distributed. Depending on the pitch you choose, you may need a few meters of power cable. Halbendorf, of courseWe have been coming to the naturist campsite at least once a year for over 20 years, even if it's just for a long weekend. Wonderful bike rides, swimming and relaxing with our dog. Due to the fencing of the bathing area, it is unfortunately no longer possible to go swimming in the forest with your dog.... The "dog beach" should be maintained more. As a human, you can't really go in this mud and some dogs don't feel like it either. This could be improved, otherwise everything is great.Tradus automat.

Vinzenz T.August 2015PlusuriCentral location in Upper Lusatia, adjacent leisure facility with bathing beach.MinusurinoneA good starting point for exploring Cottbus, Bad Muskau and Upper Lusatia.A decent campsite in Lusatia that is very conveniently located directly on the Halbendorf bathing lake. There used to be open-cast lignite mining here and the bathing lake was created from these mining depressions. The site is divided into two parts. On the one hand the textile part on the north-west... side and on the opposite south-east side the naturist area. Both parts are completely separate from each other and can be reached via different access roads. The parceled out part of the site is mainly occupied by permanent campers. This accounts for just over 2/3 of the total area. There are two slightly sloping meadows to the left and right of the main path for tourists. Some with and some without shady trees. The site and the attractive sanitary building - which has everything you need - make a well-kept and clean impression, so there is nothing to complain about here. At the time of our stay, however, the grass on the meadow was unfortunately completely dry due to the prolonged drought and heat. The showers in the sanitary building can be used with tokens costing €0.70. The water flow time for the showers is approx. 3 minutes. The available leisure facilities can be used for activities on the pitch: Playing fields for football and volleyball, two tennis courts, a mini-golf course, table tennis courts, basketball and beach volleyball, a children's playground and a giant water slide at the lake. A cable up to 30 m long may be required for the electricity connection. Individual power columns are distributed across the site. The water taps can also be found there. The prices are the usual average. We paid €19.30 per night for a caravan, car, 2 people and electricity flat rate. http://halbendorfersee.de/preise/ There is a large parking lot in front of the entrance to the campsite, so there are no problems parking the caravan when checking in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ideal location between Bad Muskau on the Polish border and Cottbus makes it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding region, e.g. the castle and park in Bad Muskau and Prince Pückler's Branitz Castle and Park in Cottbus. Both are well worth a visit. We can recommend this leisure facility without hesitation.Tradus automat.
