Rolf M.July 2024PlusuriThe location, the surroundings, the lake, the clean new sanitary facilities and above all the very reasonable prices.MinusuriI have not found anyA super campsiteI stayed at a total of 26 camping and motorhome sites around Germany from May to the beginning of July 2024. The Haus Seeblick campsite in Gütenland near Neunburg vorm Wald was by far the best of them all. The operators are friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities and the site are well maintained... and clean, a restaurant is only a few minutes' walk away and shopping facilities are only 6 km away. The lowering of Lake Eixendorf in 2022 was arranged by the responsible authorities in order to be able to carry out construction work on the dam. Among other things, this work is intended to permanently improve... the water quality in the lake.
The cycle paths also need to be repaired from time to time. Unfortunately, we have no control over when this happens.

The pitches are terraced with a view of the lake. In my opinion, 80 percent of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers, but this is not a disadvantage. On the contrary. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. The only disadvantage is that there is no... toilet paper in the toilets. But that's not so bad and there must be a reason for it. Beautiful hiking trails directly from the campsite into the beautiful Upper Palatinate Forest. It can get a bit noisy from the tent meadow.Tradus automat.

She even took me shopping in the town because I was without a car during the day. The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. The peace and quiet and the abundance of nature are wonderful,... it's the perfect place to relax. There is a very nice area for young people below the campsite with its own sanitary facilities and kitchen. There are even several fire pits and plenty of wood to sit around with the youth group in a cozy atmosphere. Overall, we simply felt very welcome and spent some very relaxing days. And if the youth group on the campsite gets a little louder - so what? I'm on vacation and remember my first camping experiences as a teenager ... Reservoir, own access from the site. No entertainment, no supermarket, no extras (except bread service). A nice site, clean, with a very nice site manager. We were able to choose the pitch ourselves. The vacation pitches above consist only of a grass area without a gravel surface. As it had rained a lot in the days before, these pitches were very soggy.... Could be problematic if it rained for a long time when driving with a caravan/camper van. Sanitary facilities were good, only the constant musty smell was very annoying. Bread roll service was very good. The food in the nearby hotel is also highly recommended. The site is characterized by permanent campers, if you are looking for peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, you are in good hands here. We did not find the youth campsite disturbing.Tradus automat.

It was not very busy, so very quiet. Sanitary facilities clean. Contrary to the site description, no individual washing cubicles, but only one washing area per ladies / gentlemen, which is separated from the other washing areas by a board. That is not a cubicle for me. You can drive to Neunkirchen v. W. for shopping. That's just 4 km away.Tradus automat.

The operators are extremely nice and helpful and the permanent campers are also very nice, which is unfortunately not the case everywhere.
