Camping for railroad enthusiasts
Simple site dominated by permanent campers, pitches on grass with little maintenance, muddy in places in heavy rain. Sanitary facilities nice and clean. The few tourist pitches are scattered around the site and not really intended for larger motorhomes. Rustic "Buvette" with the possibility to eat something,... bread sold on advance order. The campsite is located on the romantic railroad line that connects the Cailler chocolate factory in Broc with the small "railroad junction" of Montbovon every hour. There you can change to the spectacular "Golden Pass" train and travel to Montreux on Lake Geneva or in the direction of Gstaad-Zweisimmen. Wonderful views are guaranteed. On the return journey via Chateaux-d'Oex, we particularly enjoyed the village of Rougemont with its tanned wooden houses and floral decorations!

Beautiful campsite near Gruyères. The sanitary facilities are very nice and clean. It has a small restaurant. Ideal starting point for the historic town of Gruyères (can be easily reached by bike via cycle paths). The Maison Cailler chocolate factory (N 46.60692° E 7.10799°) in Broc is also nearby and highly recommended.
