The operators are very nice and always active in cleaning and keeping it clean.
The sanitary facilities were always in top order.
The showers cost 50ct which is completely acceptable.
The location with a directly adjacent wooded area is ideal for dog walks....
The nearby supermarket has everything you need.
The lake itself is a good 5-minute walk away.

We are completely satisfied, friendly staff greet us on arrival. The pitches are very nice and we always found the sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Soiling is probably down to the user. Could be better. Great for walking with dogs and you are quickly in Middelburg or Vlissingen... The site consists mainly of mobile homes. There are approx. 45 pitches for tourists, plus approx. 30 annual/seasonal pitches. There are 4 men's and 4 women's toilets available for this number of pitches. (no urinal). There are also 4... showers plus a family shower. The shower costs 50 ct for a short shower (with water-saving shower head). Turning off the water supply in between does not interrupt the shower time. The cleaning and service (hand wash cream / roll towels) was not outstanding. As long as the place is not fully booked, however, ok. The primary focus of the site operator is the lawn and the other outdoor facilities. Setting up the caravan independently was not desired, the caravan was placed on the pitch with a small towing vehicle. The very large pitches are separated by small hedges. Cars are parked centrally, not on the pitches. The conversion work in the small barn was disturbing, the circular saw alternated with the lawnmower, often at noon at 14.00 both at the same time. The road could be heard. Very pleasant was the bread service every morning at 8.00 am to the awning. The site is about 300 m from the sea, on the way there is a well-stocked supermarket on a wide C'Platz. The cycle paths are in the immediate vicinity, cycle maps can be purchased at reception.Tradus automat.

Extra tent was allowed. Anyone expecting a certain warmth and a variety of children's entertainment would not be very happy here. As a welcome gift, there are bags for the dog's legacy. Basically nothing is missing, but the ambience is sober and functional.... The supermarket is good for bread rolls, but many shelves are empty. There is a small supermarket just three minutes away by bike. The children's entertainment is shared by several campsites. There is something every day, but you know better. The spooky evening hike is a highlight of the week. The pitches are parceled out and rather large at 80 to 100 m². Due to the large number of chalets and the lack of a meadow for tents, the camping feeling that some people like is limited in my opinion. The caravan pitches were mostly occupied by dog owners. E.g. 8 pitches = possibly 8 dogs, not everyone likes that either. The criticism should not give the impression that it is a bad place, but you should consider your own priorities well. The sanitary facilities could be a little larger, but are otherwise in top order. From free WIFI to washing machine (use € 4.00) and bike rental, this young, approx. 6-year-old site has everything. If you think like we do: sleeping peacefully, short distances, everything clean, as little driving as possible, this is the place for you. Fun on the beach with children and dogs. The site is relatively new and beautifully laid out, the sanitary facilities are great. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Dogs are allowed to run around freely on the beach from 7pm. Ideal as a starting point for cycling tours. Relatively quiet despite being close to the main road. Extensive children's program. Overall a very good place to spend a vacation in South Holland.Tradus automat.
