- Rolf M.September 2024PlusuriWe came because of the proximity to Landau. The site is clean and you can use the outdoor pool for free during the season.MinusuriToo narrow, not very nicely laid out, practically no W-LAN. Simply far too expensive.Light and (too much) shadowWe came from France. Campsites of this standard are cheaper there. We thought the price was about 25% too high for what was on offer.Tradus automat.
- Peter S.July 2024PlusuriOutdoor pool included in the priceMinusurisee textSpace with potentialWe spent just under 2 weeks on the site. You notice one or two things: the majority of the pitches have a roughly gravelled area for the awning, which is actually good, but it's a challenge to get an attachment into the ground here. So think about how to pitch! The more expensive pitches are equipped... with water and waste water. It would be nice if these areas could be cleared by the site staff. To stay on the subject of staff: there seems to be a multiple function here, in addition to the groundsman function, access to the outdoor pool is also supervised. We only saw him on the pitch twice very briefly to mow the grass. More would have been necessary. What we noticed quite negatively: we have never been on such a "restless" site. Lots of overnight guests and 2 day guests. Constant setting up and dismantling, very annoying. The sanitary areas are superficially clean, the cleaning technique is spraying out with a hose, nobody has cleaned the large mirrors, side walls and washbasins here. Many people would certainly wipe their washbasin themselves after use, but unfortunately there is nothing to do this, so it stays dirty. It wasn't that great. The local restaurant was well frequented, but personally just too expensive for us. A comparable meal in the neighboring town was almost €10 cheaper. But everyone can decide for themselves. To summarize: with more dedicated staff and a few euros invested, this could be a place worth recommending, but with some reservations.Tradus automat.
- Frank D.September 2023PlusuriIdeal starting point to the wine villages on the wine route or to Alsace. Branka's Bistro is highly recommended. Very good shopping facilities nearby (less than 10 minutes by car).MinusuriPrice/Performance Arrival from 15.00 o'clock WLANSimple place in the Southern PalatinateThe pitches are predominantly natural, without landscaping or flowers and have a very firm surface. Partly parceled out by wild grasses. Only one water connection for two pitches. Pitch maintenance is mainly limited to mowing the lawn after departure. The playground is a sandpit with swings. The highlight... is a boules court. WLAN, except in the reception area, hardly or not usable. The pitch rental is quite expensive for what is on offer and is not justified by the free entry to the swimming pool. Not everyone can or wants to go swimming.
The sanitary facilities are very cramped. Three showers, four toilets for men, only slightly more for women. Waiting times at peak times when the site is full. Cleaning frequency for the sanitary building often insufficient.
No individual arrival possible. Only from 15.00 hrs. As a result, queues form in front of the barrier with additional waiting time (no shade).
Pitch at night without security or supervision. Extra party people arriving at the weekends can live out their party mood unhindered until the early hours of the morning. Background noise from the swimming pool during opening hours and from the soccer pitch during matches or training sessions.Tradus automat. - Gerd F.June 2023Plusurithe outdoor pool next door with free entry for campsite guests, nice sanitary facilities, friendly staffMinusuriWLAN could work betterWell-kept CP with adjoining outdoor poolWe have been to the campsite several times with the camper van and we always like to come back. Everything fits, beautiful area, good food and all kinds of wine.Tradus automat.
- Weltenbummler 2.May 2023PlusuriFree use of the outdoor poolMinusuriWifi reception only at the reception deskGreat little placeVery cozy, small campsite with nice staff. We like to come back to this site every year for a short vacation. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained, you don't need shower tokens. Bread roll service on site, these must be ordered by the evening before. Campers can use the adjacent outdoor... pool, where there is also a restaurant. The pitches are large enough and all have electricity and water connections. The site is very quiet. The surrounding area is very nice for cycling.Tradus automat.
- Reinhard G.June 2022PlusuriFree entry to the outdoor pool next doorMinusurinothingIdeal for wine loversBeautifully situated place for (bike) tours in the Palatinate. Use of the swimming pool next door is very pleasant.Tradus automat.
- Rainer E.April 2022Plusuri-Cleanliness -QuietnessMinusuri-Partly small pitches -too few showers with full occupancyBeautiful CPNice quiet CP. Some of the pitches are very small, not all of them. With a large caravan you have problems to put an awning or sun sail. It would be useful if you could specify the length of the caravan, then the operator could plan better. As a suggestion, only one water supply point for 2 pitches.... Distributors should be included if you connect the caravan directly.
The showers are not enough at full capacity.
But we would love to come back.
Restaurant super tasty.
Ideal for hiking and cycling.Tradus automat. - Stephan S.July 2021Plusuri- very clean sanitary facilities - Use of the swimming pool included in the price (ideal for children)Minusuri-High-quality camping with a feel-good guaranteeVery nice campsite with spacious pitches
This was my third time there and I always enjoy coming back.
Very new and clean sanitary facilities.
Admission to the outdoor pool included in the price in summer (great for children)
Starting point for very nice tours by bike through the vineyards or hiking in... the Palatinate Forest
Many beautiful places nearby (my insider tip: tarte flambée and a Weissherbst spritzer at Landeck Castle)
Several grocery stores in the immediate vicinityTradus automat. - Familie S.July 2021PlusuriRestMinusuriNoneNice quiet placeNice, quiet site with good sanitary facilities. Gravelled pitches. Everything in perfect order. You can order bread rolls the day before and pick them up from 8.15 am. Much too late for us as early risers. But that wasn't a disadvantage for us. There is a small path (about 10 minutes) from the campsite... towards the village and we stocked up on bread rolls at the bakery there. If I could wish for anything, then perhaps a little more friendliness from the operator when it came to the bill. A nice smile or a few warm words would have been desirable...
All in all, good value for moneyTradus automat. - Volker D.October 2020Plusurigood and clean shower rooms and toilets - very important - without shower tokens!!! Electricity flat rate so that you can settle up easily and stress-free on the day of departure. Sufficient size of the pitches.MinusuriError in the reservation system Only one water tap for every two pitches. If one camper wants a fixed water connection, the other camper is denied access to water. So be sure to take a distributor with you if you want a water connection.Cozy, tidy campsiteWe had reserved for the period from 10.10 - 14.10.2020 and after one day's stay we extended for another day, i.e. until 15.10.2020. We were given the code cards for the barrier for the extension day - billing takes place on the last day. From experience, we recommend subsequent campers to get a confirmation... of the reservation!!!
On Wednesday we were informed that the pitch we had booked had been rented out again and that we would have to dismantle everything and move. It was supposedly not possible for the other guest to move to another pitch for the two nights he had reserved, as he had reserved the exact pitch we had used and rented.
Result: The campsite operator's problem became our problem - which I hate - and we decided to pack up and leave. It was particularly unfortunate that we had managed to get a table in a good restaurant for Wednesday evening, which we now had to cancel. All in all, it was a good stay, but without a happy ending. The extra day would have been free for us - thank you very much for the offer - but it wouldn't have compensated for all the juggling with setting up and dismantling.
Bread rolls, bread and cakes are available at the Hirsch bakery in the village. Approx. 1 km. A little further on is a large Edeka store with everything you need.
Great walks from the square into the vineyards. Wine taverns mainly from Wednesday to Sunday and then in the evening, or from 16:00 or 17:00.
Walk to the Madenburg - with access to Eschbach by car - highly recommended.
Conclusion: I hope that our "end" is not typical for the campsite, because otherwise the campsite is highly recommended. Quiet, clean, centrally located between the villages and vineyards - all good.Tradus automat. - Michael T.August 2020Plusuri- adjoining swimming pool - very friendly managementMinusuriNoneBeautiful stay, surrounded by vineyards! The site is in a relatively quiet location on the edge of the village. The public swimming pool is right next to it and can be used by campers free of charge. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. The pitches are large enough. Shopping facilities are available in the village; bread rolls... can be ordered the evening before in the bistro. In the evening, the swimming pool bistro offers a menu and invites you to linger on the beautiful terrace. The prices are moderate and the food is good. However, it can get hot in midsummer due to the lack of shade, so you have to be prepared for this.
Conclusion: The campsite is reasonably priced and highly recommended. I will definitely be back!Tradus automat. - Klaus P.July 2020Plusuri- Modern and clean sanitary facilities - friendly reception - Swimming pool included in the priceMinusuri- at the time of our visit there was construction noise from next door and occasional aircraft noise - only 3 showers for the menIdeal place in the PalatinateThe ideal starting point for cycling tours and hikes with a refreshing swim included. I have never received such extensive information material about the region at a campsite before.
Some of the pitches are roughly gravelled, but very spacious.
There is a kiosk with a restaurant (Balkan food).
The town is not far away. Good infrastructure.Tradus automat. - Hermann W.August 2019PlusuriSwimming pool just a few steps away,MinusuriMore shower cubicles and men's toilets are missing at peak times -Nice location, quiet at night, friendly staffOn arrival in front of the barrier there is hardly any space to stop (when the swimming pool is in use) We got a pre-reserved parking space despite full occupancy - we found this flexibility greatTradus automat.
- Torsten N.July 2019PlusuriLocation, pitch size, swimming pool.MinusuriClose access, swimming pool opening hours, cleanliness when fully occupiedIdeal for the Southern PalatinateQuiet location. Ideal for exploring the Southern Wine Route. Good shopping facilities in the village. Large pitches with water, waste water, electricity. Pitches easy to access. Very nice swimming pool, unfortunately also for campers with limited usage times. Good sanitary facilities, with good occupancy they could be cleaner, but it always depends on us campers how we leave the sanitary building.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping im Klingbachtal July 19, 2016Opening hours for camping guests are the same as for our other bathing guests. This is primarily for liability reasons.
At the moment, during the vacations, the following times apply:
Mon. to Fri. 9.00 to 20.00 and Sat/Sun. 9.00 to 19.00.
These opening times should be sufficient to allow camping guests to swim.Tradus automat. - Raimund F.June 2019PlusuriBistro, swimming pool (free entry), friendly staff, cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the campsite.MinusuriToo few sanitary facilities at full occupancyNorth StarThe site is very well maintained and the staff are always friendly and ready to provide information. The bistro on the campsite - Brankas Bistro - is an absolute recommendation. All the food is freshly prepared, no convenience food. Very good value for money. Perfect service. The sanitary facilities... are always clean - of course this also depends on the guests themselves. However, when the site is full, the sanitary facilities are definitely not enough. The pitches are level, large enough to comfortably accommodate an 8-meter caravan and the manoeuvring facilities are also fine. The free entry to the swimming pool for camping guests is also very good. The site is highly recommended.Tradus automat.
- Josef G.June 2019PlusuriEverything was to our complete satisfaction.MinusuriVery hard ground on the pitches. We had We had trouble hammering in rock pegs. Even these bent.Simply top,We stayed at this campsite for two weeks. The site is in a beautiful location and the always very friendly staff gave us some tips for hiking and cycling tours. The cuisine at Branka's Bistro is highly recommended. Also the advertised tours through the vineyards with the winegrowers and Immo. We felt very comfortable there and will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Günter P.May 2019PlusuriEverything included in the price, friendliness of the staffMinusurinoneBeautiful place with adjoining swimming poolWe spent 10 days on the site in May. We were pleasantly surprised by the site on arrival, as the relatively new site looks better than it does on the internet. All pitches with electricity, water and waste water - included in the price as well as showers and outdoor swimming pool. Great bread roll service,... good restaurant included, very friendly and helpful staff. There is one drawback - between 5 and 8 pm there is usually training on the adjacent soccer pitch.Tradus automat.
- Floyd M.May 2019PlusuriPeace, cleanliness, service, many possibilitiesMinusuriNo significant disadvantagesIn good hands in the forest, wine and castle paradiseVery nice, compact and relatively new site with free entry to the adjacent swimming pool. Competent and helpful service. Relatively quiet and relaxed despite high occupancy. Plenty of leisure activities, but you are mainly dependent on your car/motorhome. Or you can do everything by bike... Shopping facilities in the village. Good gastronomic offer in the area. Lots of dogs, but without stress, hardly any permanent campers, high fluctuation.Tradus automat.
- Britta M.May 2019PlusuriPeace and cleanlinessMinusuriNeither sought nor foundNice stopoverWe stopped here on recommendation for a nice stopover on our way south. The site is quite new and located outside a wine village. The adjacent outdoor pool can be used Bistro, small store and bread roll service As so often in the Palatinate, there are numerous good restaurants nearby. Everything was fineTradus automat.
- Valentin E.April 2019PlusuriGood siganlization, modern and very well maintained facility.Nice place just outside the village. This campsite is very easy to find, even without a satnav, as it is well signposted. A very modern, clean and beautiful site. Very friendly reception. The sanitary facilities are very modern and were in excellent condition. The only negative point is that the homepage says "Our bistro is open 7 days... a week from 8am to 9pm". I expect to be able to eat there too. Nothing against a well-deserved day off, but then this belongs on the homepage. Therefore only one star for the food.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping im Klingbachtal May 12, 2019It says so on the homepage: "Our bistro is open from 1.4. to 31.10., during the outdoor pool season even on 7 days, from 8 am to 9 pm." This means that outside the outdoor pool season, which begins in mid-May, the bistro has a day off. We are sorry that you wanted to eat on this day of all days and that... it was closed. But there is another good restaurant (Pfälzer Hof) just a 5-minute walk away. This is always open when our restaurant is closed. So nobody has to go hungry with us ;-)Tradus automat.
