The site borders a wild mountain stream. The operators have built a small sandy beach on its banks, where children can play and adults can relax in deckchairs. The stream is perfect for children aged 8 and over to play in,... as it flows gently over rocks in places and forms small pools for swimming. I was there with my tent and motorcycle and felt at home straight away. There are no permanent campers, only touring campers with camper vans, motorhomes and tents. The site is particularly great for tent campers, as the grass was in great condition and there were plenty of picnic tables to put next to your tent. The sanitary facilities are ok. Not particularly spacious, but sufficient and very clean. There is free WiFi at reception, which worked well, and there is also a swimming pool on the site, but I didn't use it. The site is very quiet in the mountain. The D66 road that runs past it is hardly relevant in terms of traffic and therefore not disturbing. 5 km further on is Villefort, where you can eat and shop. For me, La Palhere was a real gem in May 2015. You certainly need to book in the high season.Tradus automat.
