"Ok for an overnight stay - The site is ok for an overnight stay, but has little charm. Many permanent campers under giant hangar-like tents. Noisy railroad line. Risto good.

"Nice campsite with small weaknesses - We used the site as a base camp for excursions in the surrounding area at the beginning of September. The staff were very friendly and the campsite was not very busy. Positives: large pool (unfortunately only with swimming cap), lots on offer for children, very shady, old but clean sanitary facilities, bathing store and restaurant open late. Car required: very good location for excursions in all directions (Viareggio, public sandy beaches -dogs allowed-, Pisa, for a day trip: Florence). Negative: WLAN not included. The on-site store doesn't offer much (but shopping facilities are only about 1 km away), somewhat dusty, railroad line directly adjacent to the east of the campsite. The trains also run through the night. We rarely woke up from them, but it was very loud in our corner. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back.

"Devastating! By no means recommended. - We were there in September. We were greeted in a friendly manner and kindly offered to be shown around the site with the electric scooter. This went very quickly. After standing on our pitch for a few minutes, we also knew why the presentation of the pitch was so quick. The first passenger plane flew over our heads. The noise is quite annoying in the long run. You can also constantly hear loud noises from the nearby harbor. In the low season you don't expect miracles. However, the sanitary facilities, although limited, should be in a passable condition. The cleaning lady here was not only on vacation, she seemed to have been retired for quite some time. The working toilets and showers were in a very unkempt state. The traces left by the previous cleaning lady were not really fresh either. Only cold water was available for washing up. We didn't even want to use the shower. And we are also festival-tested in this respect! Overall, the entire infrastructure is in a very questionable state. Either capital is being extracted from the site or it is only generating the running costs due to its condition. In any case, the entire infrastructure is in a very poor state. Another serious shortcoming is the swarms of mosquitoes that attack you as soon as you leave the protective four walls without first bathing in the car. We had originally planned 3 days to explore the area from here. However, given the conditions we found, we left the next morning. Even before breakfast!!!
