- Jens H.October 2024PlusuriNice and large pool Good camping store with a good selectionMinusuriRestaurant: Food is good. The location with loud music, or television entertainment on a large screen with loud advertising, etc... does not fit into the restaurant.beautiful placeNice place, we were there in the fall and there was not much going on. Nice and large pool. The beaches are 800 and 1200 mtr away and easily accessible by bike. Ideal for water sports enthusiastsTradus automat.
- Corina H.September 2022PlusuriFLAMINGOS!!!MinusuriTraffic on the roadNice, but next to noisy streetDominated by mobile homes, nice swimming pool, but no paper in the toilets. We were right next to the busy road and stayed here for 2 nights for the flamingos.Tradus automat.
- Martin W.June 2019PlusuriLots of trees and therefore shade.MinusuriNo pool. Sea is one kilometer awayEverything is fineRestaurant was good and friendly. Store had great selection but was not cheap. Tent pitch was shady and very nice. Bookings shorter than a week were also possible.Tradus automat.
- Uwe Michael L.September 2018PlusuriCleanliness, friendlinessMinusuriNone found.Very nice placeA place where you can feel very comfortable. Top cleanliness. Sanitary facilities very clean. Terraced location with beautiful pitches. The staff are extremely friendly. The guest should and will feel very comfortable. Well-stocked supermarket on site. For dog owners, if you have found the right run for the fur noses, also recommended. Two adults with a dog have felt very comfortable so far.Tradus automat.
- Gabriele R.September 2017PlusuriWell-kept, professionally managed, dog-friendly, shadyMinusuriToo few available pitches for WW and Womos, sometimes noisy. No designated dog beach nearby.Well-kept space with too many rental propertiesWe were there with 2 people, caravan and dog for a week without a reservation and were lucky to get a large enough pitch for our rather small WW. Due to the many rental bungalows and the terraced tent pitches, there are too few pitches for WW and Womos. Most of these are close to the main road, which... is very busy during the day (noise barrier inadequate). But quiet at night. The place itself is mostly quiet, very well maintained, well organized and dog-friendly. Easy access, friendly, professional and helpful staff. Paved paths, small supermarket (almost empty due to end of season), pizzeria inside rather uncomfortable as it can be converted into a disco, pizza so-so. Sanitary facilities (unisex) good and clean, shower included, washing-up area closed from 10 pm due to quiet. Electricity on site and flat rate, water/waste water not too far away. 10 min. walk to the beach (dogs were tolerated), approx. 10 min. by car to the ferry to Porquerolles. Closer surroundings less suitable for nice dog walks, as there is a lot of traffic. Overall a slightly mixed impression, but still okay.Tradus automat.
- Thomas E.September 2016PlusuriGood for excursions and swimmingMinusurinoisy street, no poolBeautiful placeConveniently located, unfortunately the street is noisy even at night. The beach is about 10 minutes on foot. Very nice for swimming. By bike or car you can easily get to the landing stage of the boat to the island of Porquerolles. A must, not only for swimming but also for hiking.Tradus automat.
- reinhard p.September 2015above-average campsiteRarely have I booked such a clean and beautiful campsite. It is interesting that you can swim and surf on 2 beaches. The site is located on a peninsula in the sea. On the west side you have waves and wind, and on the east side a "bathtub".Tradus automat.
- Edgar H.June 2015Plusuri- Near the beach - Walks and cycling - shady placesMinusuri- MosquitoesSun, beach and Mediterranean joie de vivreVery nice place in the south of France, a stone's throw from the islands of Hyères. Shopping facilities on site. Easily accessible. Very nice walk to the Tour Fondue via the 'Sentier du Littoral', but must have sturdy shoes. The path leads over cliffs, past wonderful bays with clear water. Comfort pitch... was OK, shady. Sanitary facilities were clean, spacious and well maintained. Sanitary facilities are OK, spacious comfort pitch. A visit to the weekly markets in Gliens and Le Capte is worthwhile. Aircraft noise hardly disturbing. In June 2015 there were a lot of mosquitoes on the site. The owner fought the pests with appropriate means.Tradus automat.
- Robert J.September 2014PlusuriExcursions to the offshore islands; friendliness of the staffMinusuriLoud space; dependent on motor vehiclesCampsite with weaknessesThe site is located in the southern part of the Hyres peninsula. The fact that the small waiting area in front of the barrier is already at its limit with one car and trailer proved to be a problem right from the start! If there is more traffic, a traffic jam is likely to form on the road. The welcome... at reception was exceptionally polite. The information material provided was also plentiful. It was also positive that German was spoken. The size of the pitches, which were dusty at the beginning of September, was average. Due to the narrow access road, maneuvering was also somewhat challenging. The site itself is (unfortunately) dominated by mobile homes! The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. Due to the large number of mobile homes, there were no bottlenecks here. Our pitch was in the immediate vicinity of the road. Although it is in the center of town, it is not used "normally" but is usually used for speeding orgies for motorcyclists and trucks, and that from 06:30 in the morning. This also led to us leaving the site after just a few days. The small supermarket has the usual range of products. We did not visit the restaurant. As the campsite doesn't have a pool, you are forced to either walk, cycle or drive to the beaches. Especially with a car, there can be capacity bottlenecks in the parking facilities. Although the Hyeres peninsula is home to many campsites, vacation resorts and a luna park, we lacked the usual infrastructure. This means that, apart from the small town of Giens, there is no "promenade", i.e. no ice cream parlors etc.. Unless you use the restaurant on site, this meant that you would always have to take a trip by car. The campsite is very well equipped in terms of WLAN, but unfortunately there is a charge. TIP: Excursion to Porquerolles. Bikes can be taken along, but can also be hired there. The only disadvantage: somewhat "expensive"Tradus automat.
- Jörg K.September 2014PlusuriVery clean facility, shadyMinusurinot so quiet, you can hear the street noiseProfessional spaceThe site is on a slope. Pitches are narrow but long. Sanitary facilities very clean. Many mobile homes. Store has the essentials.Tradus automat.
- Florian D.September 2014PlusuriLocation, sea, beach, facilities very good.MinusuriYou have to be able to cope with the size and density of the space. There are no cooling facilities. And it is a tourist stronghold by the sea.Good place on the Giens peninsulaIf it has to be a bathing stronghold, then this is it. Friendly welcome, beautiful, albeit tight and narrow tent pitches, comparatively inexpensive (28€ for 2 adults + 2 children without electricity, with tent) despite the high density surprisingly quiet and - important for tent campers - dark! Long... sandy beach 25 min. in one direction, small sandy beach with footpath to gravel bays 20 min. in the other direction within walking distance. Good supermarket. Unfortunately no possibility to charge ice packs, allegedly for hygiene reasons. Blocks of ice available in the supermarket.Tradus automat.
- Christiane G.July 2012Despite the peak season, we got a pitch for our four-man tent without a reservation. We paid 65 euros for two nights with electricity, which we thought was completely reasonable. The site itself is well maintained and the staff are friendly and courteous. The pitch for the tents is arranged in terraces,... with trees everywhere, so it is shady almost everywhere. We had our own parking lot next to our tent site, which we could see from our tent. The sanitary facilities were about 50m away and clean. Each shower and sink is in its own cubicle with a lockable door. We saw the childcare staff every day, who took the children on a bike ride or something similar. There is a restaurant on the campsite, a pizza baker and a small store where you can buy all the essential groceries and the like. We were there by car and were therefore independent, but there is also public transport to Hyeres. There are several beaches in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, which can also be reached on foot (about 800m to the right and 1500m to the left). All in all, we felt very comfortable at the campsite and would certainly go there a second, third,... time.Tradus automat.
- Ingeborg J.September 2011Quiet site with particularly clean sanitary facilities. A little far from the beach. Friendly staff.Tradus automat.

- Christian V.May 2011Highly recommended CP near Hyeres. Extremely friendly welcome with a welcome gift (multilingual, including perfect German), large, terraced pitches with trees. Absolutely clean, heated sanitary facilities with individual washing cubicles. Supermarket, bar and restaurant on site. Beautiful beach can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.Tradus automat.
