Holger W.September 2023PlusuriPeace and quiet, close to nature, dog-friendly surroundings, friendly operators who care about their guests, small store, good bread roll service, excellent home-baked cakes, well-kept site and clean sanitary facilities, if you want, you can rent a bathroom.MinusuriAs with many other campsites, the "drying area" in front of/next to the shower cubicle is so narrow and only separated by a small mini wall that it is impossible to get dressed with dry feet after showering. This is particularly inconvenient for people with walking disabilities.Well-kept natural campsite in beautiful surroundingsVery beautiful, natural campsite with water, waste water and toilet emptying facilities directly at the site or with short distances. Our pitch was huge and the distance to the neighbor was more than generous.
There was a small swimming pool and lots of rental bathrooms scattered around the site.
Nature... begins right on the pitch: opposite is a pasture where the cows are led from the barn every morning. The Laascher See lake is just a 5-minute walk away, with access for people and dogs. Many cycling and hiking trails can be used.
We felt very comfortable there.
I fell ill from one day to the next, with a high temperature and everything.
My wife asked the owner couple for help. After just 20 minutes, the country doctor from Gartow came to our pitch, and an hour later the pharmacy brought the prescribed medication directly to our pitch.
Extending our pitch was also no problem.

However, investments are obviously being made in modernization and improvements. Nevertheless, the campsite seems to us to be less suitable for camping enthusiasts with particularly pronounced comfort requirements. Very friendly operator family. Attractively... designed and well-kept campsite with always clean sanitary facilities. Reasonable and clear pricing without surprising additional costs. We, a senior couple traveling alone, have felt very comfortable here for more than a week. That's why we'll probably stay a few days longer than planned.Tradus automat.

Beautiful, uncrowded paths for hiking and cyclingMinusurinone recognizable7 days of relaxationAlthough we arrived a little late due to a car breakdown, we received a very nice welcome from the operator and were given all the information we needed straight away, so that we felt at home from the very first moment.
Our pitch was very well dimensioned. The supply points for water and electricity... were just a few meters away.
Rental bathrooms are scattered everywhere, so that the distances were short here too.
In the nearby town of Gartow there are two supermarkets, other stores for daily needs (bakery, DIY store, pharmacy), an ice cream parlor and a snack bar at the castle with a changing lunch menu (organic produce and game). There are also two petrol stations and a savings bank on site. So you don't have to "go out".
There are inns and farm stores in the immediate vicinity.
The Laascher See is probably not a bathing lake (we couldn't find an entrance at first glance), but there are beaches at the Gartower See.
And it's not far to the Elbe either ;-) We recommend a cheap river crossing to Brandenburg with the Elbe ferry Pevesdorf.

The surrounding nature is really beautiful. The site has a very pleasant atmosphere, which is certainly also due to the friendliness and competence of the operators. Very friendly operators!Even the telephone contact at the time of booking was very friendly. Despite the relatively last-minute booking, Mr. Pewsdorf made every effort to fulfil our wish for a rental bathroom. He wanted to avoid us having to walk long distances to the sanitary facilities.
On arrival we were greeted and briefed... by Mrs. Pewsdorf. The choice of pitch was excellent, the area sufficiently large and with trees to the neighbors.
During the 14 days of our stay we had only quiet and nice neighbors.
The rented bathroom turned out to be a stroke of luck, as we were allocated the former disabled WC. The toilet, washbasin and shower area offered enough space! In Corona times, rental bathrooms are a real plus! It's great that the number is still being increased.
The service was always nice and friendly. The bread rolls were delicious. The site is very quiet. Ideal starting point for bike and car tours and hikes.
The hygiene rules were implemented in an exemplary manner. The corona-related restrictions were not a problem for us, although we would of course have liked to have used the small guest room.
The friendliness and service of the operators is absolutely great. We felt comfortable and welcome as guests right from the start. The vacation could have lasted a little longer.

- Cornelia K.May 2020PlusuriWe were there for the first time at Easter 2019 and were so impressed by the area and the mega nice operators that we came back in summer 19 and have recently become proud tenants of a permanent pitch there, there is no better place for us to go on great bike tours, hikes, wildlife watching or just to be with the friends we have made there. Simply top, and if something is missing then our friends will certainly have it in the shop😁👍MinusuriAbsolutely none for us👍Super quiet CP with a great location in the Elbe meadows, simply brilliant!For all those who love peace and relaxation, or long bike rides, or prefer fishing, there is something for everyone, the surrounding area offers a lot of variety and lots of nature in the biosphere reserve where you can observe many animals, birds and other things. My children love going on vacation... there, although the older one doesn't like to go with the older ones anymore, but she is there and loves it as much as we do. We have found super nice and lovely friends there who help you and you are there for each other, so camping is great fun. Dogs are also welcome and there are many opportunities for bathing dogs to cool off in the Laascher See, or in the nearby Seege or Gartower See, and long walks around the campsite are also great. All in all, simply great! But take a look for yourself😊Tradus automat.

The service is just perfect, I had a defect on my WW and had to order spare parts. The operator was happy to accept my parcels and even lent me some tools. A paradise for cyclists and walkers. Children can also pet a calf on the farm next door. The family-run site has plenty of washrooms and toilets as well as a washing machine,... dryer and dishwasher. In the adjoining kiosk, you can buy the little things you need, including eggs from our own chickens, as well as sweets, ice cream and freshly tapped beer. The wide range of spare parts for caravans and camping accessories surprised us a little. From water pipes to gas, there is a lot available. The operators are super nice and you can tell that they enjoy what they do. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in Gartow, 3 km away. The town also offers other leisure activities, including the Wendland Therme with sauna. Due to the location and quick access to nature, there is no need for a dog run. There is very little traffic. The plots are of different sizes and are not separated by hedges, fences, etc. Trees, shrubs and flowers of different heights give the site its own charm. Some pitches have a water and waste water point or a connection point for waste water for the caravan. Campers can set up their tents on the large meadow and there is a shelter for bad weather. The sanitary area is modernly tiled and attractive. The showers are included in the price - you don't have to pay anything extra. All areas were clean and tidy at all times. There is a hairdryer in the ladies' wash area and a washbasin at the appropriate height for children. There is also an additional bathroom for mothers and children or people with restricted mobility. Those who do not wish to share the sanitary facilities with other campers have been able to rent their own bathroom since May 2019. There is a canopy over the sanitary building with enough washbasins to do the daily washing up, but you can also have the dishwasher do the job for a small fee, and tent campers can use the existing gas hob. Prices: Pitch with 2 adults and 1 dog incl. showers and electricity €20.50. The price is top in high season Our conclusion: For us, this site is a small "pearl" among the campsites with room for improvement and potential, we immediately felt at home on this site. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is definitely the place for you. We will definitely be back. We found the lovingly designed guinea pig enclosure very cute. The friendliness and service of the owners is top notch. You feel comfortable and welcome as a guest from the very first moment.
