Worth mentioning: Sanitary building - new and spacious ,
Place quiet and with old trees (oaks) but therefore a little limitation with TV reception . Good network of cycle paths .
but all in all it was a nice vacation there .

Fr. - Die. 01.05.18, worth it just because of thegood food in the adjoining hotel restaurant. The campsite is also ok, we were given pitch no. 21 by the manager, as our 6 friends were staying at the hotel. With our 6 bicycles we made trips to Haren and Dörpen, then the weather turned bad and we visited the fortress of Bourtange/NL by car.Tradus automat.

The groundskeeper a nice quiet guy, the boss hmm there I join others. The fishing pond nice and empty. Sanitary facility built without depth, when showering my wife freezes through the high ceilings and toilet noises and smells while showering are bah. Cleanliness also needs to be improved . the permanent campers are very nice and helpful .Tradus automat.

Very unfriendly owner - apparently has little over for campers - sees only the lease and is not very cooperative . The only ray of hope are the nice campers and the groundsman (who apparently also has to dance to the boss's tune). Sanitary facilities are currently poorly cleaned (sometimes not even 1x a week)Tradus automat.

The site is approx. 100m. from the river Ems. Swimming lake and fishing lake on site. Also very nice motorhome pitches available. Place a little outside but can also be reached on foot. Small shopping facilities with food to take away. Nice restaurant. Sanitary facilities clean and large.Tradus automat.
Hans-Joachim F.Septembrie 2013Well, we were there in August/September 2013 with a large tent. Lots of caravans/mobile homes. Parceled out pitches with electricity, water, waste water. We liked it very much. Small campsite without entertainment etc. You can pick up your ordered bread rolls at 8.00 in the morning. That was great. Food... from the hotel/restaurant also outside the house. Very good. You should definitely try it. Super tasty and freshly prepared. As I said, we really enjoyed it there. Will definitely be back!!!!! Then probably (if it works out) with a camper van. The people there (hotel/campsite) were also very nice. If you are looking for a small, simple campsite, this is the place for you. Lots of dogs, on a lead (mostly), so that's no problem either. We had a super nice dog neighborhood (unfortunately we don't have one). So for us it was a very nice, relaxed camping vacation.Tradus automat.
