- Reinhard H.September 2021Plusurithe beautiful location close to the center of the village the good organization and the friendliness of the receptionMinusurino thoughts on thispleasant stay in cormatinthe pitches are well sized and the site is clean and well run. the sanitary facilities are in good order and always well maintained. a quiet stay overall and there is a market in cormatin on september 11th !Tradus automat.
- Reinhard W.August 2020PlusuriLarge pitches, most of them well shaded, very quiet.MinusuriThe billeting of the Bulgarian harvest workersvery nice placeWe were here again on our escape from CORONA. The whole site is well-kept, tidy and clean. Some of the pitches are very large, even for large caravans or motorhomes, and are absolutely sufficient. The two sanitary facilities are ok, the one behind the reception is a bit newer, the one down at the site... is more of a French standard, the cleaning staff do a great job, everything is always very clean. The campsite is closed during the lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00. There is a small "dog door", the key to which every guest receives together with the barrier chip. Unfortunately, large groups of grape harvest workers from Bulgaria have been accommodated on the site since this year. This means about 15 igloo tents on 3 pitches and a good 20 - 25 people, tarpaulins stretched between the trees, a camp mentality prevails. According to information from the reception, the municipality of Cormation has so far provided residential containers, but now there are no funds for this, so the campsite has to be used. Restaurant on site, bread roll service.Tradus automat.
- Renate G.April 2019Plusurithe peace and quiet Bicycle path nearby within walking distance of the villageMinusuriWifi weakPleasant campsiteWe spent four nights here on our tour of Burgundy and didn't regret it. Cycle path right next door, town also within walking distance and pure tranquillity. We made various excursions from here (Cluny, Tournus, Paray le Monial). The pitch was pleasantly large and the whole site was very tidy and attractive. We would love to come back.Tradus automat.
- Christian P.July 2018PlusuriFlat terrain, multilingual reception, night's sleep is really respected, suitable for families with small children but also for couples.MinusuriSanitary facilities could be larger. No separation M/FWonderful place in CormatinVery nicely landscaped (with hedges) site with an acceptable size per pitch. Almost all pitches with electricity. Flat terrain! Direct walk to Cormatin. Castle is wonderful. The place has very nice design with trees on the main street. Many small cafes and restaurants. Shopping also easily possible (baker, butcher, etc.) Taizé in the immediate vicinity - approx. 5 min. We have been here 3 times and would be happy to come againTradus automat.
- Jürgen W.June 2018PlusuriProximity to Cluny and TaizéMinusuriSanitary facilities need to be modernizedNice campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for two nights as we were passing through to visit Cluny and Taizè. Both were well worth it. We found both the pitch and the campsite very pleasant and beautiful. There is still room for improvement in the sanitary facilities, but at least they were clean. We received a very friendly welcome and felt very comfortable overall.Tradus automat.
- Heiko G.May 2017Plusurivery quiet, very well-kept places, very friendlyMinusuriSanitary facilities somewhat outdated, but cleanThe peace and quiet itself!Originally only planned as a stopover, we stayed for several days. A quiet, very well-kept place, where only the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. Due to its location directly on a "Voie Verte" (cycle path on a former railroad line), it is ideal for cycling excursions, e.g. to Cluny.Tradus automat.
- I. M.September 2016PlusuriLocation Peace and quiet OperatorMinusurinoneBeautiful place in beautiful France...Taizé is only 5 km away, a beautifully laid out site with very friendly staff and a small snack bar. Cormatin is also easy to explore on foot from here. However, it is better to go to Cluny for shopping (worthwhile anyway). Sanitary facilities simple but clean and sufficient. Actually, it would be quite clever here if you could speak Dutch ;-). Located 2 minutes from the cycle path. It was not our first time here and we would gladly come back.Tradus automat.
- Ferdinand S.September 2016PlusuriQuiet, directly on the railroad track for cycling, very friendly staffMinusuriMobile telephony and internet only weak, hardly any shopping facilities nearbyQuiet place to relax and cycleAt the end of Cormatin, directly on the Voie Verte (railroad cycle path) Macon-Chalon, parceled out pitches, little shade, tourist site, few rental apartments, very quiet at night, road traffic audible during the day, but hardly disturbing. Two sanitary buildings with hot showers, wash cubicles and toilets,... clean impression. Breakfast at the very friendly reception, bread etc. can be ordered for the next day. Free WIFI Internet, but hardly usable, as very slow and with constant connection interruptions, mobile phone reception very weak (dead zone?), in this respect you are practically cut off from the outside world, this also applies to shopping facilities, the nearest small Atac supermarket is in Cluny (13 km). Very busy even in September, early arrival is advisable, you can choose your own pitch after viewing.Tradus automat.
- LERNOULD L.July 2016Plusuriquiet, good location, well-maintained, very clean sanitary facilities, very friendly welcome.Minusuriunattractive for children under 15.Passing through.Correct pitches, flat, grassy. Excellent maintenance of surroundings. Very clean, mixed sanitary facilities. Warm welcome.Tradus automat.
- Reinhard W.August 2015PlusuriClean, tidy, beautiful pitches, even in the hot summer of 2015 all with beautiful green grass throughoutMinusuriCaution: the square lights are approx. 80cm high lamps surrounded by steel tubes. You can't see them when maneuvering (too low)Overnight accommodation ( and more )We have been to this campsite 4 times so far. It is very attractive, the reception is friendly and very helpful. The pitches are all parceled out, nice and large and therefore easy to maneuver even with large caravans (9m superstructure). Highly recommended as an overnight pitch anyway, but also as a vacation pitch.Tradus automat.
- Gerhard F.August 2015PlusuriLarge pitches Water taps directly at the power connections friendly staffMinusuriSemi-open sanitary facilitiesVery quiet place with friendly staffThe staff also speak English and German. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The site is very quiet, beautifully laid out and makes a very well-kept impression overall. There is a small coffee roastery in the village with excellent coffee. There are also art exhibitions by local artists and a beautifully... restored castle with a maze, bracken and vegetable garden. A cycle path runs directly alongside the site on a former railroad line. There is always a parking space available for cyclists. The fishing area, the Grosne and an oxbow lake, is approx. 250 m away. You can also pre-order bread rolls and croissants in the small snack bar. On Saturdays there is a wine tasting by a local winegrower. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. A place to relax and unwind.Tradus automat.
- Achill C.June 2015PlusuriBeautiful bike tours - not just on the voie vert!Minusuriactually nonebeautiful placeIf you are not too demanding, you are in good hands here, especially if you are a cyclist and interested in culture: there are beautiful old churches and castles to explore in the surrounding area. Food is available in the village: alimentation, bakery, butcher.Tradus automat.
- jean-louis R.May 2014Plusuriits location. the pitches. the quality of the welcome.MinusuriPoor sanitary facilities. Playground: Poor.Well placedClose to Cluny and its Abbey, as well as the Taizé ecumenical community, Cormatin castle, the Romanesque church circuit and the "voie verte" (bicycle path), it's ideal for a relaxing, peaceful getaway.Tradus automat.
- Rainer F.August 2013Nice small and quiet campsite with relatively large pitches, clean sanitary facilities and extremely friendly staff, who helped us a lot when we had a small accident on the site (language!). The campsite is located directly on the "Voie Vert", which is very pleasant to cycle along and runs mainly along a former railroad line. However, you shouldn't expect any shopping facilities worth mentioning; as usual, bread is available to order.Tradus automat.
- Rolf P. M.April 2013Quiet and beautifully laid out campsite with large pitches and very friendly hosts. Perfect as a starting point for an excursion by bike through Burgundy and to Cluny (asphalted cycle path on a former railroad embankment). A guided tour of Cormatin Castle is also very interesting and informative - if you speak French.Tradus automat.
- Alfred G.September 2012Friendly staff, good location for visiting Cluny and Cormatin and the area between Cormatin and the Saone.Tradus automat.
- Markus G.August 2010This campsite is located in the heart of Burgundy. There are cycle paths right next to the campsite that lead beautifully through Burgundy. Taize is also close by! The site is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped with flowers. The great price-performance ratio is super.Tradus automat.
- M. B.May 2010A small, simple but cozy and quiet C-course - with the only disadvantage that it is ONLY OPEN UNTIL 30 SEPTEMBER!!!! The beautiful, flat pitches, simple but clean sanitary facilities, a boules court and the famous "Voie Verte" (now copied here in Germany), the cycle path on the route of disused railway... lines, make the C-pitch a real gem in beautiful Bourgogne. Be sure to book in advance by phone!!! ... The proximity to the monastic brotherhood of Taizé (only 4.3 km) with its daily devotions and international youth meetings made us discover this C-place - also highly recommended; hopefully we will stop here often for at least a week...Tradus automat.
