- Kai-Uwe S.September 2020PlusuriDirect access to the beach swimming pool restaurantMinusuriIndustrial baked goods onlyBeautiful and quiet campsiteWe were there this year in September (with ACSI Card). Wonderfully empty and quiet in the low season. Motorhomes passing through use the site - few caravans. The site service is very nice and helpful. The sanitary building on the pitch is excellent. Some pitches have a significant gradient. We were just... able to align our caravan with the supports without having to put them underneath. Only the full harvesters work day and night picking grapes - this can be loud and annoying at night. The private access to the beach on the Cèze is nice. The bread on offer is unfortunately below average - industrial baked goods :-( (Not possible in France - therefore one star deduction) The baguette at La Nougatine in Saint-Michel-d'Euzet, on the other hand, is great.Tradus automat.
- Daniela K.July 2019PlusuriGreat location!Minusuri- Sanitary facilities very unkempt - WLAN with 8Euro per day outrageously expensiveGreat locationThe site benefits from its great location by the river. However, the sanitary facilities were in very poor condition. We were there in the high season and apart from the very old and partly broken facilities, there was a lack of cleanliness! It's a shame, because apart from that it's a really nice place.Tradus automat.
- Stefanie K.August 2018PlusuriBathing fun for all ages, unbeatable value for moneyMinusuriThe path down to the river may be a little difficult for older people as it is very steep and very unevenLes Cascades again and again! We've already been to this campsite twice. The price-performance ratio here is simply top! We had a mobile home every time and wanted for nothing. The highlight is of course the bathing fun. The little ones can splash around in small bays and build stone dams, while the older ones can enjoy the pure... adrenaline of jumping. You can enjoy a long, beautiful swim along the Cascades. The river is only separated from the campsite by a code gate and there are no opening times, so you can also go swimming at night or very early when there is still nothing going on. We thought that was great too. We booked a canoe tour nearby, which was also great fun. I can only recommend it.Tradus automat.
- Matthias K.August 2017PlusuriFantastic location Beautiful terraced pitches Friendly and helpful staff Good price-performance ratioMinusuriNo store - supermarket 5 km awayBeautifully situated and elaborately terraced campsiteThe campsite is characterized by its fantastic location and the elaborately terraced grounds. The nearby village of La Roque SUR Ceze is considered the most beautiful village in France, but larger destinations such as the World Heritage Site of Avignon are also within easy reach. The site has direct... access to the cascades of the Ceze, which are great for swimming and rock jumping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are mainly shady and level. We didn't use the catering facilities or the beautiful pool. We would love to come back.Tradus automat.
- Ignaz G.June 2017PlusuriQuiet location and situated on a beautiful bathing riverMinusuriPartly steep access to the plotsthere for the 3rd time and are also coming back for a 4th timeIt is true that there are some pitches that are quite inconvenient to reach with a caravan (sloping and narrow). However, so far we have always had the choice of where we wanted to stand and have been very satisfied. The campsite is beautifully situated on a river that is ideal for swimming due to its... canyon character. The path to the river is about 150 meters long and a little steep. I can't comment on the restaurant and the shopping facilities close to the campsite as we didn't use one and had everything with us. The sanitary facilities were always clean. We will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Ralf S.September 2016Beautiful areaWaterfalls directly on site. Swimming is better in the pool. Boat trips outside. Refueling difficult. Severe slope. Sanitary facilities at a low level.Tradus automat.
- Ute H.July 2015PlusuriGreat surroundings, worthwhile the village Goudaragues (6km) Wednesday great market.the restaurant Auberge des Cascades highly recommended menu!MinusuriPool in the HS.too small. For shopping you need the car.Cycling bad wg.well traveled roads.Sanis,simple,old,unkempt.CP. In beautiful surroundings not far from the Cascades de Sautadet.Shady often dusty pitches, sufficiently large.the pitches down on the square have no Sani, also only suitable with tent and kl.WoMo, because very steep.the way to the Cascades is very impassable, steep and not paved.the restaurant good but too expensive.small things you can buy at the reception(can of... beer 3 €!) Also order baguette.Wifi 1/4 hour per day free of charge, does not work very well. The Cascades are also used by locals and day trippers, as is the CP beach, so there are many dogs that also go into the water and in the evening the whole area is very dirty and littered with bottles, broken air mattresses, etc. In the water. La Roque sur Cèze offers nothing except a creperie and a walk, as everything is on the mountain.Tradus automat.
- Hans Jörg K.June 2014MinusuriYou can only approach the square from one side, otherwise you stand in front of a bridge that is only 2.1m wide.Relatively noisy place, pitches dusty under pine trees partly steepAt the weekend very crowded and noisy, pizza from the restaurant very expensive and bad, on my pizza seafood were 5 mussels and 2 crabs for 14 €. outrageous! Places very dusty and if it rains heavily I would be afraid to get out there with the WW despite four-wheel drive. WW can only approach the place from the south Bridge at Roque sur Ceze only 2.1 m wide!!!Tradus automat.
- Robert J.August 2011It should be mentioned at the outset that many pitches are not always suitable for caravan combinations due to the often steep gradient, unless you have a towing vehicle with four-wheel drive and a reduced gearbox. You should therefore check the allocated pitch first. The size of the pitches, most of... which are shaded by trees (which is good), is sufficient. The ground is a little dusty due to the landscape. The sanitary facilities are clean and there is no separation between men and women. The site has a pool and a small playground and football pitch, and is located directly on the Ceze river, which is a short walk away. The cliffs there offer an extremely varied natural water landscape for both children and teenagers. The river itself is also suitable for small children. As in other CPs, you can pre-order baked goods the day before. The nicely furnished restaurant offers set menus and à la carte meals, although I can't say anything about the quality. Evening events are also held there. You only have to drive about 10 minutes for larger shopping trips. The beautiful village of "Roque sur Ceze", which is within walking distance, offers no other places to eat apart from a really good creperie. However, there are several nice restaurants on the opposite side of the river, towards Saint-Laurent-de-Carnols, and the campsite is definitely recommended for families with young and old children, especially in view of the swimming opportunities on the river.Tradus automat.
