- Lars P.June 2024PlusuriGood location for exploring southern Provence (Pont du Gard, Nimes, Avignon, Tarascon, etc.), very friendly site management, sufficiently large pitches on firm ground, functional wash house, small store on site, baguette service, small pool available, pizza sale at weekendsMinusuriNo real disadvantages, only the front pitches have the main road within earshot, cassette emptying could be more professionally equippedFriendly campsite, between Avignon and NimesLes Micocouliers campsite is very conveniently located between Avignon and Tarascon, just outside the town of Graveson. We deliberately chose to stay there to explore the region by bike.
The site management is very friendly and multilingual. The reception is also a small store with a baguette service....
We requested our reservation via the website one day before our arrival and promptly received a confirmation. That's what we call guest service.
You park your caravan or camper van on solid ground. Access is via an automatic barrier system, but the waiting lane for registration is only sufficient for one caravan, which is why we recommend stopping at the roadside to register before turning into the campsite.
The pitches are large enough, but double-axle vehicles and large motorhomes should ask for large pitches when registering, as they will not find enough space everywhere. The pitches are on level ground and there is an electricity connection (CE coupling) for each pitch. Each pitch aisle has several water taps, some pitches per plot. Some pitches are under trees or next to tall old hedges and cypress trees. The front row of pitches can hear the country road, the rear pitches are very quiet.
The central sanitary block looks simple from the outside, but is very functional and always clean. The good facilities are complemented by paper, soap and there are separate urinals for men (!!). However, the facilities are not separated by gender. The showers are adjustable and nice and hot.
There is a small pool, which we didn't use, but it seemed very clean. Pizza and small dishes are served at the weekend or offered as to-go. Baguettes must be ordered in advance and are delivered to the pitch by 09:00.
We enjoyed our time at Micocouliers and can recommend this campsite.Tradus automat. - Bernhard L.March 2024PlusuriFriendly operator, TOP sanitary facilities, large pitchesMinusuriDisposal station for the chemical toilet has room for improvementBeautiful place to relaxSarah has been running this place since last fall. Very friendly and helpful. In addition to her native language, she also speaks sufficient English. Although we were the only guests on the site when it opened, there was a daily baguette and croissant service.
The sanitary infrastructure is very good... and well maintained. The chemical disposal will certainly be improved in the coming months.
There are plenty of water taps, but most of them are not threaded. So you can't connect the hose you've brought with you. But this is a luxury problem.
There is a swimming pool, but it wasn't open yet. But it made a good impression.
The price-performance ratio is ok.
We were very satisfied and recommend this place.Tradus automat. - Marinka M.August 2019PlusuriSafety, cleanliness, friendlinessThe friendliest campsite everThe very friendly owner takes excellent care of the order, cleanliness and security of his campsite, which provides a lot of privacy. It is also perfect for families with small children. I left my pre-schooler to explore the surroundings without any worries because the security is really well taken care... of. Even the pool has a safety lock so that any little budding swimmers don't visit the pool unaccompanied by an adult. There is also plenty of shade in the campsite. A nice base for exploring Provence. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- reinhard p.September 2015Typical family placeVery nice landlord, the father speaks very good German and the daughter English. The pitches are great. Good bike connections to Avignon and St. Remy. The restaurants in the village were closed in September. But good supermarket!Tradus automat.
- Steffi und Christian L.June 2015Suitable for visiting the surrounding area. The site is a very good base for visiting the surrounding area. The reception is very friendly and the site is well structured. Unfortunately, in the low season it was only used by older people from the Netherlands. For this reason, only Dutch was spoken and we missed the French fair with its melodic... language. The volleyball court was probably deserted due to the very old age of the guests and the net was used to dry the laundry. The pool is good for cooling off. But beware! During our stay there were countless and very annoying flies. We don't know if this is always the case. Every evening we had to orphan about 30 flies from the caravan despite the fly screens. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside in the evening.Tradus automat.
- Kerstin I.May 2015PlusuriFriendliness, cleanliness, proximity to sights such as Avignon or Pont du GareMinusuri---Good starting point for many sightsWe received a very friendly welcome in good German. Right at the beginning of our stay we were given lots of useful tips and information about leisure activities. The owner also has lots of brochures or printouts with information. So we did a lot of nice activities here. The older sanitary building at... the front of the campsite has everything you need and is cleaned regularly. There is also a new building which is much more comfortable. We were very happy with it. The only downside during our stay was the mistral wind, which blew our croissants off the breakfast table in the morning and shook the caravan at night. But that's not the host's fault.Tradus automat.
- Bella K.June 2014PlusuriMr. and Mrs. Riehl are very nice and helpfulMinusuriGraveson only 1 km away but hardly any infrastructureNice place/quiet locationExtremely friendly and courteous operators. Sanitary facilities are simple but very clean, pitches are nice and large. Good starting point for excursions to the beautiful towns of ProvenceTradus automat.
- Mar G.August 2011The welcome at this site is more than friendly. The owner couple speak excellent German and are always ready to help in any situation, e.g. if your car has been broken into. Monsieur quickly sorted everything out by phone. We were even allowed to park our car in the private garage because of the smashed... side window. Even when medical assistance was needed, the campsite owners were immediately on hand and really went the extra mile. We always like to come back and are always pleased with the friendly and familiar atmosphere. The 2nd sanitary building is now finished. The facilities are now more than adequate for the size of the site. Always happy to come back!!!Tradus automat.
- Peter L.July 2010This campsite impresses with its tranquillity. Rarely have we received such a friendly and familiar welcome at a campsite. This site is simple, but cozy. The sanitary facilities are clean, but mixed. Shopping facilities are available in the nearby village. This site is very conveniently located for excursions to Provence.Tradus automat.
