- Roland S.August 2019PlusuriClose to the lake and restaurants Spacious pitches Kayak and SUP rental in the immediate vicinityMinusurinot really anyQuiet - near lake and townThe campsite is just a few steps away from the lake. The village, which has some good restaurants, can also be reached very quickly via a side gate. Most of the pitches are relatively spacious and shady. The sanitary facilities were okay overall, both in terms of equipment and cleanliness. The operator and his team were very friendly.Tradus automat.
- Stephan W.July 2019PlusuriGood location, nice operator, cleanliness.MinusuriNo snack bar on the square.Beautiful place by the lakeThis beautiful campsite clearly stands out thanks to its location close to the lake. The site is laid out in terraces and has direct, secure access to the small village of Les Salles sur Verdon. The sanitary facilities are not top modern but are functional and were always clean. As is usual on French... campsites, the toilets do not have toilet seats, but toilet paper is available. The owner speaks good German and was very helpful. There is no restaurant on the campsite, but several times a week in the evening there are trolleys where you can buy pizza etc.. There is a snack bar at the entrance to the neighboring campsite and you can pre-order bread rolls at reception. The proportion of German campers is above average. It is almost impossible to get a pitch in the high season without a reservation. The site is an excellent base for excursions in the beautiful region. We will definitely go there again, perhaps next year.Tradus automat.
- Ano N.August 2017PlusuriIce cream for 1€!Minusuri-Clear recommendationFantastic location directly on the lake. Reception speaks German, English French. Many German campers. Sanitary facilities labyrinthine but good. Are cleaned frequently. After a short but steep climb you open a campsite gate and are in the village where you can eat or get bread rolls.Tradus automat.
- Vero Z.June 2017PlusuriWalking distance to the lake, simply beautiful locationLocated directly on the Lac du Verdon......we were very impressed to have managed to get a pitch so close to the beautiful shores of Lac du Verdon. If you don't make a reservation you have to arrive early to get a pitch spontaneously. We were already full in the high season in mid-June.The reserve pitch was logically quite tight and the paths... to the ranch were not just easy. The reception and the staff were great, the little village of 'Les Salles du Verdon' a gem. For a longer stay I would wish for fewer Germans, I only saw 2 Dutch license plates, because of vacation flair and other languages in the ear and would definitely reserve a place.sanis I found good, especially for and with a child.Tradus automat.
- sophie m.August 2016Plusuriclose to everything, impeccable cleanliness, peace and quietMinusuriit's a shame the petanque court isn't bigger and better lit, as well as the ping pong area, because it's already dark at 9 p.m.excellent campsiteexcellent stay at campsite les pins, shady pitch of a more than reasonable size, sanitary facilities of exemplary cleanliness, permanent cleaning, very quiet campsite, small shops in the village where you can get to the campsite without taking your car, lake just a stone's throw away, small forest just... opposite the campsite, practical for walks with the pooches, self-service poop bags available on the campsite, Dogs are welcome everywhere, which is important for us as we travel with our golden retriever. The laundry service is well set up, so you must indicate the time when you want to do your laundry to avoid having to wait for a machine to become available.Tradus automat.
- Jörg B.June 2016PlusuriNear the lake Weekly market in the village (Thursday) Closed site at night with partial supervisionMinusuriSanitary facilities outdated and poorly lit No hot water after 22:30Very quiet location near the lake ...The pitch is approx. 100 m from the beach. Access via one-way street. Nice friendly German-speaking reception. Attracts mainly German compatriots. Friendliness among German campers is very limited. Often fully booked even in the low season. Very hard sandy floors on the pitches. Getting nails out again... was a feat of strength. Paths within the site very narrow. Better to choose the way to the pitch on foot beforehand. Sanitary facilities already older, poorly lit in the evening and from 22:30 there is no more hot water - on the second! The cleanliness of the site depends on the users. The village has a bakery, souvenir store, restaurants and a small supermarket 8aHuit on Place des Canebiers. There is a weekly market in the village on Thursdays and you should visit the market in Riez on Wednesdays.Tradus automat.
- Werner G.May 2016PlusuriEverything is fineMinusuriNone.Very nice locationAll the staff are helpful and friendly. Friendly people in the businesses in the village which is only a few minutes away from the campsite. We were there by motorcycle. Great roads and little traffic.Tradus automat.
- Karin W.September 2015PlusuriQuiet site, almost directly on the lakeshore. Clean wash house.MinusuriNarrow paths, only partially suitable for large motorhomes. Shopping facilities in a small store in the village, supermarket approx. 20km awayWe recommend it to othersStony ground (tent campers: bring a hammer); small pitches with shady trees; often fully booked even in the low season; location almost directly on the pebble beach (just cross the small access road and a footpath and you're there); sanitary facilities always cleanTradus automat.
Tradus automat.
- Michael H.June 2015Plusurigood locationMinusuriunfriendly, out for money, German campers are a necessary evil.Location good but otherwise unfriendlyWith us the feces came out of the water basin at the comfort places, after you told him he said he would come in 45 minutes he did not come of course, only the 2nd time where you became clearer and also the sound he finally came and knew immediately what he had to do so does not seem to be a single case.... After 1 week there was no more toilet paper, and that at a 4 star campsite? Arriving visitors were first sent away because it was lunch break (can you believe it, people were sometimes on the road for 10-12 hours at 38 degrees) but was changed when the French went on vacation. We've been going to France for 10 years now, and when we go back home we've never been charged for the time we've traveled, everything had to be paid for. For me it's done even though the campsite is in a good locationTradus automat.
- Steffi und Christian L.May 2015Plusuri- Close to the Canyon de Verdon. - Shady and semi-shady pitches. - Quiet - Swimming in the lake possibleMinusuri- Cycling is extremely strenuous due to the topography.RecommendableI was traveling with my motorcycle and a tent and used this place as a starting point for my tours in the area. The reception is very friendly. German is spoken very well. The owner couple is very helpful when it comes to tips for hiking or motorcycle tours. The site is very well maintained and the mostly... shady pitches are large enough even for larger caravans. The ground is sparsely overgrown with grass and pegs are difficult to bring in. The sanitary facilities are always clean, functional and in good condition. Useful for campers traveling with a tent. At the reception there is a small lounge with a coffee machine, tables and chairs. An alternative to the small tent in bad weather. Cold drinks in flasks and maps are available to buy at reception. The village borders directly on the fenced-in site and restaurants, bistros and small stores can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The campsite as a whole makes a very well-kept impression and is very quiet.Tradus automat.
- Joachim K.July 2014PlusuriQuiet location, close to the village and close to the beach. Very good sanitary facilities.Beautiful, quiet placeWe felt extremely comfortable on the site. It was quiet and clean, the pitches (family tent) were big enough. Well-drained, well-kept lawn. Pitches separated from each other by hedges.Tradus automat.
- Monika S.July 2014Quiet almost directly on the lakeBeautiful small campsite almost directly on the lake. The village can be reached quickly on foot. Village with plenty of restaurants and amenities. Impressive landscapes.Tradus automat.
- Bernd S.June 2014PlusuriGreat location and starting point for excursions in Provence.MinusuriSanitary facilities could be a bit cleaner.Wonderful locationI can only agree with the good reviews in every respect. Based on my own experience: You can only get medical help in the Medicalcenter in Aups, about 20 km away. If necessary, you can get a visit from a "lnfirmier" (nurse) directly on the pitch. Very good shopping facilities in Aups.Tradus automat.
- Walter K.June 2014PlusuriThe location by the lakeMinusuriSomewhat outdated and poorly maintained furnishings.Beautifully situated, but in need of improvementThat's right! Very friendly owner and staff. But the maintenance of the site leaves a lot to be desired. The sanitary facilities would also benefit from a makeover. Location absolutely top and all shopping facilities in the village (only 100 m).Tradus automat.
- Krebs P.September 2013Beautifully landscaped, terraced, cozy site, within walking distance of Lac de St. Croix. Very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities very clean, no facilities, but the village with stores and restaurants is directly above the site and directly accessible from the campsite. We felt very comfortable (we liked it better than the neighboring site).Tradus automat.
- Eric H.August 2013Beautiful, family-run campsite in a wonderful location on Lac de St. Croix. Walk to the lake: 5 minutes from the gate. You get a transponder for the entrance and the small gate at the upper part of the campsite to get directly to the village "Les Salles sur Verdon". The bakery is also located there.... The local 8à8 store is very expensive, so it's better to do your shopping in Aups, 20km away. The sanitary facilities are clean and are thoroughly cleaned once a day. However, you should only choose a pitch in the immediate vicinity if you have children yourself or don't like the evening idyll. The children romp around in the adjacent playground. But that's just the way it is. Not a criticism either. The pitches are a good size and, in addition to the standard pitches, there are also comfort pitches with waste water disposal in the upper terrace area. However, extremely long caravans may have problems. The friendly staff at reception speak good German and are very helpful. Unlimited WLAN is affordable at 5,-/week. The transmission power is only a little weak at the edge of the site.Tradus automat.
- Kerstin M.May 2013Beautiful parceled pitches separated by hedges, terraced. Only 100m to the lake. Shops and restaurants in the village (also only 100m). The sanitary facilities are always clean, even if they are no longer brand new. The operator is very nice and speaks very good German. The scenic surroundings are magnificent. We will definitely be back again!Tradus automat.
- Ruth G.May 2013Reception very friendly and also German-speaking. Postcards, travel guides, gas cartridges etc. are available at reception. Rather small campsite with pretty grassy pitches separated by trees and hedges (somewhat unfriendly to herring due to stones below the surface). Top sanitary facilities with washing... machines, dryers and hairdryers. From June there is also a small house with various fridge lockers available. The campsite is very close to the lake. A steep footpath to the village (approx. 5 minutes - bakery, supermarket and restaurants are available) is directly connected to the campsite. The access to the campsite is a one-way street - don't miss the entrance, otherwise you'll be doing an extra lap!Tradus automat.
- Thomas W.September 2012PlusuriDirectly on the lake, beautiful plots, a great bakery in the village...Again and again with pleasure ...Beautifully situated pitches, separated by hedges, therefore more privacy, some with lake view. Modern, clean sanitary facilities even when almost full. Only 100m to the lake. Perfect for dogs, we will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
