The pitches are almost at the front of the beach but very narrow.
You can look directly at the other families' plates from the motorhome or stand window to window.
The pitch we were on offered no privacy.
There were caravans on... the pitch but I don't think you have a chance of getting a pitch without a reservation.
Unfortunately, we had the smoke from cooking in the taverna on our pitch every evening.
The showers and toilets are very clean, but the showers are very narrow and small.
The beach is large and wide, great for families with children.
We didn't eat out. - Ignaz G.June 2016PlusuriGreat placeMinusuriNoneGreat campsite, would love to come backAlthough the campsite is quite large, most of the pitches are only suitable for tents, as these are located under the olive trees. Close to the beach, i.e. behind the fence described above, there are pitches for caravans and in the next 'row' there are pitches for motorhomes. As we were there before... the main season, we had a free choice and chose a pitch under the matted frames (the ones for motorhomes). We had electricity and water on site. You can buy bread for breakfast and other small items for your daily needs in the kiosk. However, the selection is somewhat limited. You can eat well in the adjoining restaurant for very little money. If you want to spend the night, in June you might be lucky enough to see turtles landing and laying their eggs in the sand (the animals are protected, so I won't comment on their behavior here). The sanitary facilities are functional and were always spotlessly clean during our stay. So far, this has been one of the best campsites we have been to, with a great sandy beach stretching far into the sea. The price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Highly recommended...Tradus automat.

Beautiful tent pitches and, outside the high season, sufficiently large and clean sanitary facilities. Good self-service restaurant on site. Gythion is still very Greek. High season prices are borderline.Tradus automat.
F. D.August 2011Even though the campsite usually has very good reviews here, I can only share them to a limited extent. During our stay (August 19/20) there were absolutely too few of the outdated but clean sanitary facilities. Waiting times were common at all times of the day. Hot water was not always available. There... were almost no drinks and only a few food items in the store. I definitely recommend stocking up in Gythion beforehand. The motorhome pitches under the mat roofs are far too small, even for smaller motorhomes. If you can manage the height, it is better to camp under the olive trees on the unparceled rear part of the site. The beach, which is separated from the campsite by a fence, is clean and gently sloping. A swimming pool does not make a great campsite.... Andreas T.July 2011The main part of the campsite itself is surrounded by olive trees, mostly for tent campers only. The front part of the site is under pine trees and blocked by GR permanent campers. There are shelters for motorhomes, but they are very narrow. A camper van with awning is just about enough. The very beautiful... sandy beach is separated from the site by a fence (hedge). The sanitary facilities are clean but there is no hot water later in the day. The (self-service) restaurant on site has a small menu and is good. We liked it, and the price/performance ratio was completely fine. The supermarket on site has a good range of products, larger supermarkets are within easy reach (1.5km) and easy to reach by bike. Unfortunately, the mini market at the campsite itself has no fruit and vegetables. The road cannot be heard from our location and neither of the two beach bars can be heard from the motorhome pitch. Dogs and WiFi are free here. Leisure facilities are also available and there is also a pool. Campers can use the kitchen and fridge in a separate building.
