- Nik B.August 2024PlusuriSpecial cordiality from the two operators & outstanding service, top location, pleasant night's sleep, reasonable prices, many leisure activities, many new investments: generous camper service, playground, washing machine & dryer, modern chalets/accommodation with large private garden and hammocksMinusuriNoneA jewel on Lake Idro!We have been coming to this wonderful campsite for over 20 years and have been here almost since the beginning. For us, this campsite has everything we need: a top location in the middle of nature and directly on Lake Idro, a pleasant night's sleep, reasonable prices, the relaxation factor par excellence... and outstanding service from warm hosts who remind us more of a concierge in a star hotel than an employee at a campsite: flowers and a cake are quickly organized on request if there is something to celebrate. Grazie mille Nicole!) In short, this explains why we are drawn back here every year.
What we are particularly pleased about is the fact that since the change of generations last year, the campsite has been invested in again and new services are being offered:
We rented a kayak several times and explored the lake! Really recommendable! The new parasols and beach loungers are also great!
In terms of investment, a lot has been done in the last 2 years: generous camper service, new playground, new washing machine & new dryer and our highlight: new chalets/accommodation, because my parents (no longer campers) can finally spend their vacation with us directly on the campsite again. The chalets are a dream: modern furnishings, very spacious, private bathroom, huge TV, air conditioning & heating depending on the weather, large private garden and hammocks.
What can I say? Of course we'll be back!Tradus automat. - Edelgard R.August 2024PlusuriFor us it was the perfect vacation short distances to the beautiful beach short distances to the sanitary facilities Great restaurant Friendly staff - simply perfectMinusuriThere was nothing to complain aboutA great little campsiteWe were three caravans and it was perfect for everyone
The surroundings the many hiking trails cycling good
Simply everything
From the beach to the friendliness, just everything
Highly recommendedTradus automat. - Irmgard N.July 2024PlusuriFamiliar atmosphere, warm & hard-working host family, refrigerator rental possible, gravel on the pitches, sports equipment rental on site, well-kept and clean infrastructure, uncomplicated reservation processMinusuriNot availablePure relaxationIdyllic, small campsite right on the lake with large pitches surrounded by hedges. The gravel on the pitch keeps it and therefore the caravan clean when it rains and you don't have to wade through mud. REALLY CLASS!
The site is lovingly maintained and the sanitary building is always clean and in immaculate... condition. Toilet paper is plentiful.
Spacious camper service, WLAN and playground are available on the campsite. There is even a dog shower and a dog beach.
The campsite offers many leisure activities and new services, such as SUPs, via ferrata sets, kayaks and sun loungers with parasols for hire. It is also possible to hire a barbecue or a fridge, which we really like!
Bread roll service and food options are available on site and there are shops right in the village, just a stone's throw from the campsite.
The campsite is mostly visited by families (in the vacation season), sports enthusiasts, those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. As dogs are allowed, you will also come across these four-legged friends from time to time. It was remarkable that we didn't notice anything else about the dogs. We also liked the pleasant temperatures and the peace and quiet in the evening and at night, which made sleeping wonderful. Impeccable value for money!
The new chalets/accommodation are also beautiful. We were allowed to visit one of these mobile homes and are now convinced that when the time comes to replace our caravan, we have now found the right alternative for us.
The young family who run the campsite are very welcoming, helpful and on duty day and night. Very committed and commendable! We had a wonderful stay, felt very comfortable and would love to come back!Tradus automat. Tradus automat.
- Waltraut N.September 2023PlusuriQuiet and secluded, not so much tourism.Minusuri...Very nice place!A very nice place right on Lake Idro, very quiet at night, the sanitary facilities very clean! The food in the restaurant was also very tasty. We particularly liked the view from the terrace.
We would love to come back.
Waltraut and PeterTradus automat. - Hans M.July 2023PlusuriFantastic location (directly on the lake: it is not possible to drive around the lake by car as the road ends here, which means peace and quiet for us guests) Pleasant night's sleep even when the campsite is fully booked Friendly and helpful owner family Manageable size of the campsite Free Trentino Guest Card with numerous free admissions and discounts on activities (e.g. the Idra boat) Value for moneyMinusuriTo be understood with a wink: A snoring neighbor in a tent, but you're on a campsite, you should NEVER forget that ;-) You can also hear birds twittering. But it can also be solved.Absolute insider tip on Lake Idro for a relaxing vacationA cozy and familiar campsite in a beautiful and idyllic location directly on Lake Idro with many opportunities for sports, fun and adventure. There is something for everyone here: surfing, paragliding, canyoning, climbing, hiking, mountain biking and much more. Special highlights starting directly from... the campsite beach: via ferrata and hiking trail to Vesta, as well as the landing stage for the "Idra" boat, with which campsite Miralago guests can combine a free round trip with a visit to the market in Idro. We also recommend the cycle path to Storo, which is ideal for a family outing. Even when the campsite is fully booked, the night's sleep is wonderful as the campsite is so small. The service is excellent and the host family is warm and very helpful. The price is totally reasonable and the vacation feeling sets in as soon as you arrive. In short: a small vacation paradise far away from mass tourism. Keep up the good work!Tradus automat.
- Elfriede R.June 2023PlusuriThe campsite is run by a very nice and friendly family who are always ready to solve small problems. As the campsite is located directly on the lake, there are plenty of opportunities for sports enthusiasts to swim, hike or surf and, of course, relax. I will be back.MinusuriThat some of the guests do not leave the local facilities (shower, WC, kitchen and washing machine) clean.A small, fine campsiteThe site impresses with its location and its size, friendly atmosphere and can compete with any larger site. Small but niceTradus automat.
- Alexander S.June 2022PlusuriClose to the lake, few pitchesMinusuriUnkempt beach, broken glass, garbage and full garbage cans Dirty sanitary facilities, in need of renovation. Noise from 6 am until late at night. Electricity only 3A.dirty, unkempt and loudAs early as 6 a.m., the planes are noisy with door slamming, loud talking, music, driving, etc. The sanitary facilities get dirty very quickly, partly broken (toilet lid next to the bowl), empty soap dispensers, paper towels, partly missing toilet paper.
Dirt everywhere on the beach, broken glass in... the grass and between the stones, beach very unkempt, shrub remains, tall grass, overflowing garbage cans.
Despite only a few pitches (approx. 60), a lot of car and loud motorcycle traffic on the site. No midday rest, no night-time rest. Parties until after midnight.
Power connections insufficiently fused (3A).
Overall very unkempt site, which doesn't make up for the location.Tradus automat. - steven n.September 2018BestI stayed here in September 2018 and was surprised by the wonderful location right on the lake, the great surroundings and the friendly owners. Coming here with dogs was no problemTradus automat.
- Martin L.August 2018Plusuriclean sanitary facilities, great locationMinusuriOnly 3 ampere fuse protectionBeautifully situated campsiteThe campsite, run by very friendly operators, is beautifully situated in a quiet location. Unfortunately, the infrastructure of the campsite is getting on in years; in other words, there is only a 3 amp fuse and you have to walk quite a few meters to find the nearest water tap. The WLAN is also not very strong. A great place for dogs, the sanitary facilities are always clean.Tradus automat.
- Marcello P.August 2017PlusuriPool, beach not crowded, clean.MinusuriA little expensive for the German vacationerBeautiful campsiteWe stayed at the campsite in August 2017. We (2 adults and 2 children) liked it very much. Great beach with loungers and not overcrowded. Heated pool with a view of the lake. Store and restaurant with Swiss price level. Pitches at ground level and large. W-Lan very stable. Staff always friendly. We will be back in 2018.Tradus automat.
- Kurt-Folker K.September 2016PlusuriQuiet, large plots, lots of treesMinusurinoneNice quiet placeWere there at the beginning of Sept. 2016. Very friendly staff at the reception, pitches as described separated by hedges, sufficient size, sanitary facilities (showers) ok and clean, we do not use the toilet, so no judgment. Directly at the place bar and restaurant u.the possibility to get fresh rolls... in the morning. The food wasn't great, but the quality isn't particularly good in Italy anyway. In any case, the place is to be recommended, especially in the quieter time, in the season you will hardly arrive without a reservation.Tradus automat.
- Ruth H.August 2015PlusuriClose to the lake, countryside, short distances, dog-friendly, cleanMinusuriSmall plots, little shade, possibly very high density of dogsDog-friendly gem with light and shadeWe were looking for a small site that was dog-friendly and offered swimming opportunities for dogs (and people, of course) and found this campsite. The site is manageable and the distances are short, which is great for families with children. The visitors are divided into Dutch, Germans, Austrians and... Italians, depending on the vacation. Water may not formally be available directly at the pitch, but it really is only a few meters away. You definitely need bathing shoes for the "beach", otherwise you'll be ouch ;-) But the scenery is magnificent! In the nearby village of Storo you can stock up in supermarkets (car advisable; unless you like cycling 7 kilometers even in the sun and almost 40 degrees), the food offer in the pizzeria / ice cream parlor / bar on the square is rather a necessity, but regional products. In general, the restaurant: delicious pizza, very Italian everything; very large and yet often packed, as many locals come here with their families. Very tasty ice cream in the ice cream parlor downstairs! Sometimes live music outside on a small stage. All in all, a nice, informal atmosphere. A personal problem for me: the rather small pitches, which are also divided up by hedges. They fill up quickly with a large tent or camper van and you end up sitting on top of each other. As the site is dog-friendly (dogs are allowed in the restaurant and can swim in the lake), there are also a lot of dogs. This can be annoying if there is hardly any space to retreat. And it can annoy everyone: dogless campers, dog owners - and not least the dogs themselves, who then get stressed. There are no designated walking routes/running areas. There is a nice hiking trail with a tolerated run, but unfortunately it was blocked this summer due to construction work on a footbridge. It also becomes a bit problematic in the (Italian) vacation month of August, when there are lots of families with children and pure sunbathers at the lake; then you can't really go swimming with your dog, out of consideration (and this is also requested by the campsite operators): They rely on few bans and appeal to a sense of responsibility in return. It worked quite well during our stay). Conclusion: We (traveling with a child, young large dog and tent) would not choose this site again in high season. For people with dogs who are not dependent on the peak travel times, CP Miralago is great, and certainly better with a caravan/camper than with a tent - because bad weather can sometimes persist on the edge of the Dolomites, and after a day of heavy rain you end up living in the mud.Tradus automat.
- Carmen H.July 2014Great area, nice little campsite and absolute peace and quiet!Really great campsite! Everything clean, sanitary facilities nothing special but always clean. The lake is lovely and the beach is gently sloping, ideal for small children to play on. Super, tasty pizzeria right in front of the campsite. We will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Stefanie A.May 2014very quiet locationthe campsite is in a very quiet location, supermarket is in the next small village. without a bike or car you have to walk quite a distance! the pizzeria is right in front of the campsite and is quite ok. Prices are normal. there is very little around. pitches are large and divided by small hedges. sanitary facilities are good.Tradus automat.

- Chris P.August 2012A beautiful lake, beautiful campsite...everything tip-top.... The service and the contact persons are absolutely great and very nice... No noise, no disturbance... Only the weather is very changeableTradus automat.
- Oliver S.September 2011A very beautiful campsite right on the lake. You have to love the tranquillity of Lake Idro - I loved it there, my wife found the remoteness and the mountains all around it a bit constricting. At Lake Idro, only those seeking peace and quiet, hikers and surfers get their money's worth. A beautiful little... path through a nature reserve starts directly at the campsite. The lake has pleasant temperatures even in summer and there are actually no mosquitoes! The warm lake is suitable for swimming, but only to a limited extent, as thick algae starts about 2 meters from the shore and reaches the surface. Mooring for the boat, which crosses the lake in season, right next to the campsite. Really very good restaurant with real ital. Ice cream parlor and bread rolls in the morning belongs to the CP. The campsite is primarily frequented by Germans. The sanitary facilities are not good but acceptable by Italian standards. By Italian standards.Tradus automat.
- Cicchetti S.August 2011Beautiful, quiet location, no mosquitoes, pleasant temperatures, pleasant wind, shady in the morning until 10 a.m. and therefore not too hot in the tents (ideal for sleeping in), lake refreshingly pleasant for swimming, clean sanitary facilities, nice reception.Tradus automat.
- heidrun k.July 2011Decided to escape the dreary gray of the German summer, we booked the CP Miralago. ...And were pleasantly surprised...starting with the very nice communication (thanks Nicole:-), we felt immediately in good hands....fantastic scenery, super CP, totally nice care...the first impression...sanitary facilities... top...sleeping until 9 (actually not feasible on a CP...) guaranteed....the beach, the lake...simply pure vacation...we would like to come back anytime and can only recommend this CP...Tradus automat.
