- Harald H.August 2017PlusuriPeace and quiet. Cleanliness. Well-kept place. Central on MljetMinusuriNot directly by the sea. But that's not possible anywhere on MljetPure relaxationIdeal place for hiking, cycling and bathing tours to the most beautiful corners of southern Croatia. Pure peace and relaxation on the pitch. Very clean and tidy. Pool unfortunately out of order. Harald from www.sava-turizam.deTradus automat.

- Achille C.July 2016PlusuriCozy for caravans and campers in strategic location.MinusuriAway from the sea, it requires its own vehicle for any travel.Simple campingThe campground is located in the center of the island and thus equidistant from major attractions. It is the only one on the island that can accommodate medium-sized caravans and campers. The staff is very welcoming and efficient, helpful but unobtrusive. The campground is small and very quiet divided... into pitches and with a small area designated for tents. Facilities are basic but clean with hot water in the showers and a sink for dishes. There is a swimming pool but inexplicably for a fee (10 kuna per person). In contrast, the wifi is free and quite fast. During our visit the campground was sparsely populated, so it is difficult to give an opinion in the case of a full campground. There is a small adjacent bar with tables open until 10 o'clock at night. There are two well-stocked supermarkets nearby that can be reached by car or bicycle in a few minutes. The village of Babino Polje offers no attractions except for a bar (in a nice panoramic location) and a very good typical restaurant (Triton) both easily reached by car. Odysseus' cave, not far away, offers access to the sea. Should the need arise, an equipped medical clinic is in the immediate vicinity (50 m).Tradus automat.
- Kathrin P.September 2015MinusuriUnfortunately already "winter mood" in mid-September. Pool available, but no water in it, restaurant already closed.Small camp in the middle of MljitWe came to the island to visit the national park and the Odysseus Grotto. The national park can only be reached by car. The grotto can be easily reached on foot from the campsite. It is a beautiful green and quiet island.Tradus automat.
- Anna W.July 2013If you are looking for simple accommodation in a central location on Mljet from which to explore the island and perhaps take a trip to Dubrovnik, then Camping Mungos is the right place for you. The campsite is located on the edge of the island's 'main town'. Babino Polje is not particularly tourist-oriented.... We liked the village atmosphere and highly recommend the local konoba, where we had the best meal of our vacation. There is also a bakery in a small shop and a kiosk. It is best to stock up on food on the way from the harbor to the campsite (Studenac supermarket), there are no shopping facilities on the campsite (drinks in the evening in a bistro), and the water there is not drinking water either. The small site is nicely structured (brick terraces) and offers plenty of shade. On the opposite side of the road there is another terraced site with a sea view. Very basic sanitary facilities, fridge available for everyone. It's a nice day trip by bike to the national park with a few meters of ascent - the Grotto of Odysseus can be reached from the village. The only luxury offered here is peace and relaxation - we like these little places and enjoyed it! 120 kuna per night (2 people, small tent, bicycles) was also cheap in comparison.Tradus automat.
