Nadine T.August 2023PlusuriThe site is small and clean, the operators are very friendly and help you with any questions. There is a small playground and vehicles for children, and the operators themselves are very attentive and understanding towards parents and children. The site is just a few meters from the Breitenbergbahn cable car, the train station and the entrance to the Reichenbachklamm gorge and is a wonderful starting point for hikes where you can simply leave your car behind. Pre-ordered bread rolls are available from 8 am.MinusuriUnfortunately, the train is not only an advantage: opposite the CP is an unsecured crossing over the tracks. The train runs once an hour and gives a sound signal here. We were on the camping meadow within sight of the crossing and so we had our free alarm clock every morning shortly before half past six. In the evening, the children and most of us were tired enough not to be bothered by the train. I think the last train goes through around half past nine. The campground is next to the road, so sensitive people might feel disturbed here. However, as there is little traffic at night and as city dwellers we are used to more traffic, it was more of a guide for us as to whether it was already approaching morning or still the middle of the night.small, clean campsite with extremely friendly operatorsWe really enjoyed staying at the campsite with our two children (3 and 6 years old). Everyone felt very comfortable. There was a lot of fluctuation on the tent meadow, as many people only stay here for one or two nights when passing through. But for the most part we had very nice neighbors here. We are... grateful for the flexibility with our arrival and departure. We left early due to predicted heavy thunderstorms and water ingress in the tent after a normal thunderstorm. The children enjoyed both the Allgäu Alps and the relaxed atmosphere on the site. The trampoline and the vehicles were pure luxury for urban apartment dwellers. We were amazed at how clean the sanitary facilities were despite the fact that the site was full. The children also thought it was great to be able to buy their own sandwiches or ice cream and to always be welcomed in such a friendly and understanding way. The site is so centrally located that we were able to drive to Alatsee in the evening to go swimming or walk a few meters towards the gorge
to watch the sunset from above. Thanks to fair prices for snacks and delicious cakes, our camping stove could stay off, so we spent the evening on the terrace in front of the reception next to the playing children. The highlight for our children was that there was a whole garage full of bicycles, scooters etc.. We really liked the great location with views of the surrounding mountains. We would particularly like to emphasize the family atmosphere and... the very nice and helpful operators of the campsite. Everything was also very clean and well-kept! Bread roll service. - Restaurants within 10 - 20 min. walking distanceMinusuriSignificant parking space problems during longer periods of rainGreat location, great landscape...place with small flawsOn the whole a very nice place, which unfortunately gets its problems during longer periods of rain. Some of the pitches really get soaked.
Fortunately, we were able to change our pitch as it had deep tire tracks in the mud. Unfortunately, these were not repaired for the entire duration of our stay (11... nights), even on other pitches. Fortunately, we were able to help ourselves out with flat wooden pallets, there are enough available to get to the WW/WM/tent on dry feet. Despite the 4.5 rainy days, we enjoyed our vacation very much, as there are plenty of excursion destinations nearby even in bad weather. Otherwise we chilled out.

Unfortunately, our "vacation" was only a weekend long, but the cordial nature of the Schneider family turned the short time into a week's vacation.
A cozy main house with... a guest room, a wonderful playground and, last but not least, clean sanitary facilities made the whole camping experience so wonderful that we would like to be guests of the Schneider*s again at any time.

The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but tip top
clean and nice big (long) showers.
We were on the pitch with a camper van and 2 dogs.
Place, was just great.
Great hiking trails etc.........
but also lots of cyclists.
WLAN is available at reception and at the sanitary facilities.
And there was delicious homemade cake every lunchtime.

Easy booking, a super-friendly welcome and a couple who are always there for their guests with a smile on their faces - it couldn't be better. The sanitary facilities are no longer new, but they are spotless and the showers have proper taps, without... auto-stop and with a freely selectable temperature. Most guests also observed the Corona protection measures well, we were very satisfied with everything. Unfortunately, the beautiful meadows are a bit muddy when it rains, but thanks to the slatted frames provided, this was not a problem. The site is in a quiet secluded location, you can hear practically nothing from the road further up and the occasional toot of the train is not disturbing.

They run your campsite with friendliness and heart - daily homemade cakes.MinusuriNone - Even if some write that the sanitary building is a bit older. Yes, but clean and sufficient for the size of the pitch.Small, fine campsite run with a lot of loveOur vacation started the day before we arrived. Our questions were answered very friendly on the phone and it was also possible to arrive in the morning without any problems. On site we were welcomed by the owner couple in such a way that we thought we were at home here. Unfortunately, the weather didn't... quite play along during the 10 days and it turned out that some places, especially in the upper area, had a lot of problems with the amount of water. The sanitary building is a bit older but always clean (thanks also to the fellow campers) and well maintained. There is hardly any data reception from Vodafone and O2. So if you want to use the internet, you have to switch to the Austrian network or use the fast free Wi-Fi around the registration area.Tradus automat.

Otherwise, the location is very nice and well suited for dog walkers and hikers. Water is only available at the wash house, depending on where you stand, it's quite far. We still felt comfortable, but you should think about some renovations, also W-Lan only at the reception.Tradus automat.
