The site offers several pitch categories, we had the second best, with a wonderful view of the sea.
The site is tidy and well-kept.
Acsi discount is granted.
The sanitary facilities are cleaned more often.
There is a small store next to reception.
A bakery stand on the... beach path.
The shore is rocky. Metal railings lead into the sea in some places. I was able to swim every morning and evening. Take swimming goggles with you! Then more fun at night. You can see the fish.
There is a small sandy beach somewhere along the shore to the north, about 100 m long.
There is a vegetable stall in front of the campsite during the season until the beginning of September. We found large supermarkets in Umag. Easy to reach by bike.
I don't know what it's like here in the high season.

No grub, no hot dogs, no drink stands. The shop at the campsite by the reception will cater for the basics, but you have to pay extra. The nearest larger shop is 15 minutes drive away in Umag. Pitches ok, beach tooMinusuriArbitrariness of a security guardOne experience richerThe campsite in the NW has new sanitary facilities, perhaps a little too small, but everything is organized. The beach is clean and you can get into the sea quite easily, even with a SUP. From the pure camping experience a 4 star rating only the house rules, enclosed, should not know at least one security... employee. It doesn't say anywhere that you need a bodysuit to buy a wash coin, but it couldn't be explained why this is relevant to security. Therefore only 3 stars because of the arbitrarinessTradus automat.

The site is very well maintained and kept clean, very friendly and competent staff. The sea is clean. The restaurants are affordable and good!MinusuriThere is only one disadvantage and that is Bora Bora, a disco directly opposite the campsite. Very loud music almost every day until at least 11:30pm but mostly until 1:30am. The further away you are from the reception, the less you can hear the music!Very nice vacationWe definitely recommend this place, there is a lot of shade due to the wonderful pine trees! The sanitary facilities were old, but were cleaned regularly. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, our dog was very welcome everywhere (beach bar, restaurant etc.).
Although the campsite was very full, we felt very comfortable overall and spent a relaxing vacation.

Sanitary facilities are freely accessible without access control by transponder or similar. They are cleaned every day and are usually acceptably clean. The sunsets are fantastic. The sea water was clear and quite clean and nice and warm for swimming and snorkeling. The check-in process at reception was quick and easy as you can save time by registering online in advance. Payment by EC card was no problem. Quite a quiet place, hardly any disturbing noises.MinusuriAccess to the sea is usually a bit slippery on the stones, it's just a natural beach, but you can quickly find easily accessible spots. The pine needles on the "forest floor" naturally cause a little more dirt than grass or grit that you carry into the camper/tent/caravan/sanitary facilities.Beautiful campsiteWe were lucky and got a nice classic pitch about 20m next to the sanitary building under the trees with a beautiful view of the sea, which was about 40-50m away. For me it was an almost perfect camping vacation for the first time with a caravan. I would highly recommend the campsite.Tradus automat.

This time the booking of a pitch was a fiasco. Despite reserving a pitch, we did not receive it. Initially supposedly canceled by us, but then suddenly another pitch reserved. After 14 days we were asked to make an interim payment. We asked whether the new operating company had... run out of money. ADAC classification of the site now with 4.5 stars. The question is why. Sanitary facilities on the lighthouse site outdated. Cleaning staff are very committed and do what they can. High praise for that. Little hot water in the evening. Not enough showers on the pitch.Tradus automat.

In addition, the permanent camping neighbor generously built on what makes the place even smaller. Every second evening in the bar in front of the campsite live music that sounds the whole place. And dogs... everywhere, even where there shouldn't be any. On dog-free pitches and also on the dog-free beach, dogs running free everywhere and leaving their droppings behind. The site is divided into two parts. A small, cozy part by the lighthouse. However, you shouldn't have high expectations of the sanitary facilities here and a large part behind the reception with a lot more hustle and... bustle. There are much more attractive sanitary facilities there. For this reason, we made a pilgrimage to the showers for the first few days before laziness overcame our aversion. Access to the sea was very unsatisfactory for us. We've been going to Croatia for years but we've never experienced it like this before. Nevertheless, it was a relaxing vacation. Yes, you could hear music coming from the bar or a distant disco in the evening. It didn't bother us. CP very spacious overall, see Google Maps. Staff professionally friendly. Also partly German-speaking. CP is divided into two parts. The more charming part is by the lighthouse. We were lucky here and got a front row spot without a reservation. Great sunset from here.... Supermarket (SM) and ATM right next to reception. Cheaper SM in the village, approx. 10 - 15 minutes' walk from the CP. Super WLAN coverage (ticket for 5 devices per pitch included). Beach section with gravel for kids available. Sanitary ok, cleaned daily. The containers themselves could be renewed. The WC and shower cubicles could be a bit bigger (I'm 190 cm). But still ok. In the part where the lighthouse is located, there is a footpath directly in front of the first row of pitches. You shouldn't get upset about the busy pedestrian traffic here. It didn't bother us. Recommended overall. For me, the pitch is always the deciding factor as to whether you feel comfortable at a campsite or not. We were lucky here.Tradus automat.

We stayed on the pitch next to the reception and had a great view of the sea and the lighthouse from the motorhome. If you can, you should stock up on provisions, mineral water is very expensive. - Florian M.June 2018PlusuriClose to the beachMinusuriSanitary house Animation offer Entrance and signage to the campsiteCamping site ok but no 4*The campsite is quite ok The sanitary facilities are always cleaned and tried to keep in shape as well as generally on the whole place However, in my opinion it is a 3* place Sanitary facilities from a container where outside looks good but inside 1 square meter of space for showering or toilet is not... 4* according to my opinion the ladies were indeed concerned about cleanliness but blech and salt water does not get along so well (side of the lighthouse) Entrance to the campsite is an ordeal to find :-) In general, more attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the place then it would have deserved the 4 stars in connection with a new wash house on the lighthouse side.Tradus automat.
Christel M.September 2017PlusuriNice vacation spot with good location and great internetMinusuriPoor sanitary facilities on new part of the siteSuitable for vacation.This was our 2nd time at this campsite. Our pitch was on the part of the site by the lighthouse, just like last time. This year the pitches (the site slopes slightly down to the sea) were slightly terraced so that you could park the camper van reasonably straight (2 years ago we had to use a hole so... that we could park it straight). But we had a direct view of the sea. This year the internet was also excellent. There were several amplifiers dotted around the site. And it was free of charge. Access to the water was also simplified with steps (typical Croatian access to the water via gravel). There are now even showers on the beach. The only downside is and remains the sanitary facilities on this part of the site!!! Still containers and extremely cramped. Much too dark in the evening and after heavy rain it drips everywhere. Cleaning does take place, but in vain given the nature of the ground (red earth and pine needles, in combination with water). Three side showers with poor drainage, simply unacceptable. When the weather is good, you just go to the showers with light luggage, but when it rains and is cooler, it gets bad. The site is supposed to be in new hands and we hope that a new wash house will then be built. About the music: We were there at the beginning of September and the music was very limited. We rather listened to the sea :-) Unfortunately, we always had a carpet of jellyfish in the water this year. They were the harmless comb jellyfish, but beautiful is different.
