- Thorsten H.June 2019Unfortunately had to pay more despite Acsi CardWere from 8.06.-15.06.19 on the CP. The store was only open on Sat. and Sun. for bread rolls, not open during the week. According to the campsite, the store is only always open in the high season, which is a pity, otherwise there is no bakery nearby. Furthermore, the Acsi has a recommended price of 20€.... We had to pay 22,50€ per night, according to the Acsi it is no longer valid there, it would not be worth it. Why is the CP then in the Acsi Camping Guide 2019???????? Had to pay 17,50€ more instead of actually 140€ now 157,50€ Too bad, they didn't go into it much when paying. Will therefore not go on vacation there again.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping Seekamp June 17, 2019Hello Mr. Hencke,
Thank you very much for your review and your frank words. We are happy to take your comments on board and would like to write a brief comment below.
The store on our site is indeed not open every day in the low season. However, there is an Edeka supermarket within walking distance... or easily accessible by bike, where you can get bread rolls and other groceries every day.
We are listed in the ACSI general camping guide, but have not participated in the CampingCard ACSI or the discount campaigns for several years now. If we are explicitly listed there with the discount card for the low season, this is unfortunately an editorial error on the part of ACSI Publishing BV. We will therefore be happy to pass on your information to them again.
Nevertheless, we were pleased that you were our guest.Tradus automat. - Hubert L.August 2018PlusuriBeautiful location.MinusuriSanitary no longer up to date and not really clean despite extremely long cleaning timesNot really greatIn this day and age, it's a shame when you have to bring your own toilet paper. The pitch (pony meadow) is full of rabbit holes. It's not clear who gets the pitches by the water. There were a few free during our stay. We were not allowed. Staff unfriendly compared to 2014 and 2015. We will not be back.Tradus automat.
- Berthold B.April 2018PlusuriAlways fresh Baltic Sea airMinusuriA coffee shop or snack bar is missingIdeal for water sports enthusiastsWe were here after the Easter vacations and were warmly welcomed, we were allowed to choose a pitch on the beach side, because the pony meadows were still a bit soft after a day of heavy rain, the sanitary facilities have always been clean as the whole place, anyone who loves water sports such as sailing,... fishing, jet skiing or motor boating is just right here.Where we camped on the through road on the beach side it was noisy in the afternoon due to motorboats and the jet skis. In the high season it will certainly be louder. The price / performance ratio is super favorable. For shopping or shopping I can recommend Heiligenhafen or Burg on Fehmarn, because you can also enjoy the north culinary in many fish restaurants there.Tradus automat.
- Pedi P.August 2017PlusuriUncomplicated in every respectMinusuriA snack bar on the square would be nice.Camping without the frillsI am completely satisfied, 2 weeks of pure relaxation. Friendly welcome and always open for questions. Of course there's not much going on on the campsite itself and there's only a small store for the essentials and it's only open in the mornings. But you are on vacation and don't fall into a coma just... because you have to move around to go shopping or visit a restaurant. The nearest restaurant is only 800 meters away and is first class. There is also live music there once a week, which is really good. For excursions, Fehmarn, Heiligenhafen or Großenbrode can be reached quickly by bike. The beach is also not far away. For water sports enthusiasts, there are moorings for boats directly on the site. The sanitary facilities are simple but okay. It goes without saying that they are no longer clinically clean after half the campsite has showered, not least because some people think that they don't have to clean up their mess. As for the playground on the access road to the site, there is no speeding, the playground is set back and can be reached via a meadow. Apart from the fact that there is a small ditch that prevents children from spontaneously running onto the road. I will certainly come back again :-)Tradus automat.

- Jan M.July 2014PlusuriWater sports. Free choice of seats. Friendliness.MinusuriSanitary facilities catastrophic.Camping ok Sanitary o wehPlace is unconventional in the allocation of places (choose). Water sports very good. Location remote approx. 7 km from nearest town. Mini store for bread rolls 3 hours a day. Entertainment almost 0. Sanitary facilities horrible in the season. 2 people absolutely overwhelmed cleaning by hand about 1 hour daily. A cleaning team with a high-pressure cleaner should be here 2-3 times a day. Absolute NoGo.Tradus automat.

Thank you very much for your frank words and your assessment of our campsite.
In order to improve for you and our other guests, we will be happy to take your criticisms on board or comment on them.
Is it perhaps possible that you were a guest at another campsite nearby? Unfortunately,... we cannot understand your comment about the steep stairs to the beach, as the beach and the Baltic Sea are located directly behind the dyke and we do not have any large stairs or "steep stairs".
Please let us know by comment or by private message in which period you were our guest. In addition, information about dirty sanitary facilities is important to us so that we can clean them quickly. We are happy to receive such information directly from you at reception and ensure that it is rectified quickly.
We look forward to your feedback.
Kind regards from the Baltic SeaTradus automat. - Maik H.July 2013We were on the "Ponywiese" (there are no ponies here) and had a lovely one-week vacation there. I think one of the most important things on a campsite are the sanitary facilities: they were built relatively recently and so it looks very smart. They are cleaned regularly. You have to bring your own toilet... paper... and the washroom with the showers and washbasins closes at 10pm. That was a bit annoying. The site itself is very clean. Although there are a few cute rabbits running around, there are hardly any droppings. What I particularly like about this campsite is that the pitches are free, which means there are no boundaries and that works very well. (That's how it is on the pony meadow, but I think there are also sections with boundaries) The beach itself is wide enough and when the winds are favorable, it is also extremely free of algae and the like. However, we also had 2 days where it looked different. But well, that's just the way the sea plays. Otherwise, you can buy fresh bread rolls every morning. And during the day there's a snack cart open with chips, currywurst, half a chicken, salad, ice cream and the like (tip: the currywurst is particularly tasty xD ). Otherwise there is nothing else to buy food, except a few meters further on the neighboring campsite a restaurant and a small store. (or just drive 6km further to Heiligenhafen and shop there) Fatzit: If you don't want too many frills and just want to camp, this is the place for you. We were satisfied and would come back again and again. :)Tradus automat.

- Thomas I.August 2010Spent a lovely vacation at the Ponywiese. Nice neighbors and lots of peace and quiet. I also liked the fact that you could find your own pitch. Sanitary facilities were always top and staff very helpful. Supplies without a car would be a bit more complicated due to short opening hours of the kiosk or a longer walk along the beach to Sütel to the Edeka.Tradus automat.
- Udo T.July 2010Hi folks, one aspect of this campsite is remarkably positive: you don't have to stick to strictly separated pitches, but can stand and spread out however and wherever you like. That was great. There is also a small restaurant with good, reasonably priced food. The store at reception has the essentials,... but is unfortunately only open for a short time in the morning. The beach, which actually belongs to the neighboring campsite, is very large, hardly frequented and nice and clean. The Baltic Sea in this area is very suitable for swimming, even for children, as it is quite shallow for a long time. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and clean, but the playground has seen better days. It is easy to cycle in the immediate vicinity and Heiligenhafen, with its many shopping facilities, is only around six kilometers away. ---------------------- Update 07/2011: Hello and good afternoon! Once again we spent two weeks at the Baltic Sea and the campsite was as nice and quiet as ever. There's not much to add to what I've already said, except that the dilapidated playground has been replaced by a new one in the entrance area, which makes a pretty sleek impression. I also had the pleasure of getting to know the pony meadow this time during and after heavy rainfall, and this experience was only partially enjoyable. The level of this meadow is virtually at sea level (or even below?), separated only by the dyke, and when it rains it's "land under". Lucky if you have a caravan, unlucky for the campers. Otherwise everything was perfect, especially the amount of space around the pitches.Tradus automat.
- Ralf B.July 2010Hello campers, We were on this campsite at the beginning of July 2010 and I must say the first thing that bothered me was the dry grass that lay on the meadow after mowing the lawn, the store was only open from 7-9.30 am and that you had to take toilet paper with you. If someone walked past the caravan... it wobbled, but there are also positive sides. You can stand anywhere on the pony meadow, it was very quiet in the middle of nature, the sanitary facilities are new, the operators are very friendly and the registration worked without any problems. Nevertheless, we won't be going here again.Tradus automat.
