Parceled out pitches, quite a few permanent campers. Shopping facilities in the village easily accessible by bike. Train station for excursions approx. 800 meters away, so the car stays put. Good hiking and cycling opportunities from the site. Quiet location, you can hardly hear the train line. Friendly staff, sanitary facilities ok. You can reach a lot during the day without a car, as the train goes directly to Salzburg. A small drop of bitterness is the train traffic a good 300 meters away. My husband didn't hear it at all.
In any case, we will be back.

Andreas T.June 2021PlusuriLocation to the WallerseeMinusuriFor the most part, the site is dominated by permanent campers. Some of the pitches look like a garbage dump. There is no direct view of the lake as the hedges are far too high, which pleases the geese but not the campers. The hedges on the site are also far too high, you feel like you're in a labyrinth and not on a campsite. What we also noticed is that the sanitary facilities were never clean during our stay and it also smelled unpleasant.Camping by the lakeIt could be such a nice place but a few things don't fit.
First the good things:
The staff were very friendly, the staff at the lakeside restaurant were also very friendly and the food we ate was delicious.
The lake, the sunbathing lawn, the playground - everything was perfect. Seekirchen is the nearest... town, the slow train takes you there or you can go by bike.
The few pitches for individual campers are a good size and have electricity and water at the pitch.

Many of our campers like our secluded pitches, but this is of course a matter of opinion. Permanent campers are not a disadvantage for us. Sanitary facilities are cleaned 3 times a day + as required, we are very sorry if there was any soiling.
We make every effort to improve our campsite and to provide our guests with a great stay.
