Donnerskirchen Sonnenwaldbad Camping
The campsite is on the outskirts of Donnerskirchen, but there are shops just a few minutes away. Very good wine grows in this area, good hiking and cycling tours. The restaurant offers good, down-to-earth cuisine and there is a pub garden. For the particularly sporty there is an adjacent tennis court... which is also popular with sports personalities.
Your motorhome is parked on a meadow, the terraces are not easy to drive on with large vehicles, but there is enough space on the first and lowest floor. All in all, a small, cozy campsite that is not only suitable for overnight stays but also offers a wonderful vacation experience. Starry nights. Hot days are easier to bear with a dip in the adjacent swimming pool. What's more, the entrance fee + Burgenland card is included in the camping price. All this creates a good price-performance ratio. I would rate this site as at least "good".

Sanitary facilities too small, power supply dangerous, rude community worker
A little out of the way and outdated
Small site located a little away from the tourist attractions at an outdoor pool. The sanitary facilities are old and used up, the alleged 50 pitches are not really available. In my opinion, there are about 15 pitches for motorhomes/caravans and the same number of pitches for tents. The lawn is used... as a dog run. A group of permanently camping bachelors from Vienna enriches the site at the weekend with their wagon castle, music and plenty of alcohol. Power supply via normal household sockets, which are screwed OUTSIDE! to the distribution boxes.The groundsman at the bathing cash desk is very nice and helpful, unfortunately there is also an employee of the municipal administration running around on the site, who is very rude. The restaurant at the swimming pool is simple but recommendable.

The pitch has beautiful terraces with lake view and a meadow. Unfortunately there is only 1 WC and 1 shower for men and women. Further sanitary facilities are next to the entrance to the adjacent outdoor pool. The restaurant unfortunately only offers "canned food" and is not recommendable.
