- Irene G.May 2019PlusuriLocationMinusuritoo expensive for what is offeredPrice-performance below any criticismDishwashing areas not covered (it was pouring), 4 toilets, but 3 of them standing toilets - which nobody used, old sanitary facilities, absolutely NO comfort € 36 per night for 2 people far too expensive, max. € 20! Restaurant: Pizza very good, but the prices of the other dishes were also too high. We... didn't feel welcome either at the campsite or in the restaurant, the buildings around the swimming pool were outdated, loveless and desolate. The area is beautiful for cycling.Tradus automat.
- Uwe L.May 2019PlusuriLarge, beautiful pitches with electricity and waterMinusuriNo mini-shop, everything very, very outdated at a proud price.Quality is falling!!! Campsite between Montegrotto and AbanoA repeat visit in May 2019 confirmed the condition. Sanitary and other infrastructure very shabby, at an upscale price. The grounds are botanically very spacious and green. Road traffic is now very annoying. there is only a bad footpath into the village. The campsite staff now work superficially and with old equipment to maintain the green areas. In my opinion, it would be very easy to upgrade the siteTradus automat.
- Franz H.April 2019PlusuriLots of greenery, quiet locationMinusuriPricingOnly used for one overnight stayShares the route from Vienna to southern Italy, nothing to add to the other reviews. We were very surprised by the pricing in the low season (Easter week) at €34 for a pitch, 2 people and electricity.Tradus automat.
- Jo S.April 2017..... nothing to add! There is actually nothing to add to the previous comments. The only astonishing thing is that one user wrote back in 2011: "the site is clean, but looks run-down" - and the old, very worn taps, toilets and showers ...... can still be found today. It seems to me that the campsite is in the same state... as the town: On the decline ....! But we were able to live with it for a few days because everything was clean and we were used to the (actually more hygienic) standing toilets from France.Tradus automat.
- Fritz R.July 2016PlusuriCombination of spa and campingMinusuriProximity to the roadSpa stayModernization urgently needed Only one sitting toilet per sanitary building, standing toilets are hardly used anywayTradus automat.
- Thomas E.June 2015PlusuriLocal locationMinusuriSanitary facilities dirty and small, very high priceLousy placeWe were only there for one night and that was already too much... The pitches are big enough and the location on the edge of the village is fine. But not the quality of the sanitary facilities. The showers are small and dark, the toilets dirty. And all at an outrageously high price of almost 40 €/ 2 persons with caravan. We will not be coming back.Tradus automat.
- Dagmar S.June 2014PlusuriBeautiful swimming poolMinusuriexpensive, dingy, unfriendlyNot recommended for familiesThe name Sporting Center is not worth its name, no sports facilities except swimming. Unfriendly and short tempered staff, the only nice thing was the swimming pool which you have to pay extra for at certain times and conditions. The sanitary facilities were dingy and outdated, the lighting was inadequate at night. Shopping facilities not available on site. Nearest supermarket about 3 km away. Never again!Tradus automat.
- Christina B.June 2014Worst camping experience everI have visited 10+ campsites in Italy, this one was by far the worst experience. This camping is a scam. They charge you ridiculous prices for camping place, apply high season surcharges when every single camping does low season pricing, and they are sneaky about the extra charges, which is really irritating. Service is mediocre at the best. I will never stay here again.Tradus automat.
- Fabio C.May 2014The campground has nothing, not even a bar, a market, ... The campground is on a state road, far from both Montegrotto and Abano. Swimming pools are paid for and are not inside the campground. In general, the spa facility is very old and dilapidated. Comfortable shared private bathrooms that are cleaned daily.Tradus automat.
- Florian K.August 2013Plusurigood transport connections to Venice, close to the train station, pool, clean sanitary facilitiesMinusuriPool not free of chargeOur first vacationThe first vacation I spent with my girlfriend was in the thermal region of the Colli Euganei. She had known the place for a while from driving past and we thought we'd just go there. The site is really well located for sightseeing tours through Veneto (to Monselice, Arqua Petrarca, Montagnana, Este and... of course Venice itself). The pitches themselves are very large and parceled out. Each pitch has its own electricity connection (although this is very poorly secured). There is also plenty of shade throughout the site. The only problem with the pitch was the many mosquitoes. The site staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean. Unfortunately, the pool is not free in high season, but it's not expensive either. All in all, the campsite is very nice and is in a great location for people who want to see the area. The price-performance ratio is definitely right.Tradus automat.
- Christine N.May 2013This campsite is a disappointment in almost every respect. At € 32.00 for 2 people in May 2013, it is far too expensive, especially as the car wash is in no way up to date and outdated and is also too small for the many pitches. The whole site looks unkempt. The only positive thing is the large pitches. The site is suitable as a transit campsite, as there is no other campsite in the Padua area. What a pity!Tradus automat.
- Marco M.April 2013THE PRICE IS MUCH HIGHER THAN REPORTED. Exaggerated quietness and large pitches. Big disappointment. Old and dirty facilities.Tradus automat.
- Reiner S.August 2011Positive: - the large thermal swimming pool, - the night's rest, as mostly older campers Negative: - Nothing has been invested in the site and the swimming pool for years, the facility is clean, but looks run-down - too expensive: two people pay € 30.20 for the night and an additional € 14 for the swimming poolTradus automat.
- Günter E.October 2010The pitches are quite tidy and level - chocks are not necessary. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean, but outdated. A disadvantage at this time of year is that they are open and of course not heated - to make up for this, there is plenty of hot water available at all times. Breakfast bread... is available at reception, the campsite restaurant is very well maintained, but unfortunately only open in the evenings. The nearest shops are at least 15 minutes' walk away. You have to pay extra to use the swimming pool.Tradus automat.
