That's outrageously expensive!Good but too expensiveA sensibly planned facility, water, electricity, sanitary facilities all in the immediate vicinity of the pitches. Typical for a public site - you save on staff. We experienced a very dedicated receptionist, always the same from morning until late at night. However, the maintenance of the campsite is... probably entrusted to external service providers, including the sanitary facilities.
You can tell by the fact that nobody is around at cleaning times ...
Recommended for one or more overnight stays, if it weren't for the prices.

The few staff we saw at the (slow) start of the season were very nice and friendly.
The pitches are very level and very well landscaped. Very quiet despite being close to the road, there was almost no noise from outside.
The site is within walking distance... of the town and several discount stores are also within walking distance.
The Danube cycle path is not far away.
Due to the proximity to the highway, you can also make good trips to Passau.
The sanitary was always well cleaned, but especially in the shower area are already signs of wear, but everything still in the acceptable range.

It was completely uncomplicated, even though we had booked until Sunday and had already paid. A new invoice was simply issued and the rest was paid out in cash.
We've been to this site before. The pitches are large enough and well maintained.... The wash house is no longer the newest, but sufficient. All pitches are grassed. Very shady due to tall hedges and large trees, but nicely structured so that you only ever see a few neighbors. However, the individual pitches... are not very spacious. Caravan, awning and car fit, but then the neighbor is already there. Good sanitary facilities with hot water at the basins, also good hot water for washing up. Disposal station in front of the pitch for motorhomes and WC. When we were there there was very good quality W-LAN. ALDI and many stores 300 m away. Cyclists have access to many cycle paths. The whole of Straubing can be reached on foot or by bike in minutes. The owner couple gave us a very friendly welcome and made us something to eat in the restaurant despite our late arrival. Large portions and tasty. Very quiet location and free wifi. Our dog was also... very welcome. The sanitary facilities were also very clean in the evening. We were only here for one stop on our trip to Hungary, but will definitely stop here again on the way back.Tradus automat.

The site is very well maintained and clean. The tenant of the site is very friendly! He made an immediate effort to rectify the small defects that occurred. - Jürgen E.Mai 2016PlusuriUnfortunately, I can't list any advantagesMinusuriNo wifi, no great leisure facilities, no small store for shopping, no newspapers or magazines etc.A totally overrated placeI became aware of this campsite through the homepage on the Internet. We wanted to stay on this site for 2 days, but then very quickly decided on 1 day. In my opinion, the entire site is run by just 2 people, the tenant and his wife. The tenant is responsible for the maintenance of the outdoor facilities,... in between he does the reception and in the evening he is the waiter in the small restaurant. His wife is solely responsible for the kitchen. When we arrived at around 12.50 pm, the registration desk was unoccupied. So we had to wait until 3.00 pm (quiet time between 1.00 - 3.00 pm). But then the tenant arrived at around 1.30 pm and we were able to drive in after all. There is no wifi at all on the pitch. The sanitary area was relatively clean until late afternoon, then quite unclean. In the evening in the restaurant there were 4 dishes to choose from, cheap and also very tasty. The place itself offers no variety, to Straubing center you walk about 20 minutes. There is also no small store on the site and no newspapers or magazines. I can't recommend this place at all!Tradus automat.

Super pitches where you can stay attached. We didn't need to unpack anything and were able to use the chairs and tables from the lounge (beer garden). As we liked it so... much, we stayed for another 3 nights on the way back. Very friendly groundsman, pitches very well maintained and straight. Sufficient size. Top price. Large sanitary facilities with plenty of space. We were there with our dog, no problem at all. Plenty of space to walk outside. We will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
