- Claus B.May 2021PlusuriGreat pools, very nice grounds, good sanitary facilities,MinusuriThere was very little we didn't like. It would be nice if the staff could speak better English or GermanCamping Tahiti at WhitsunIt is a large campsite with pitches, rental tents and mobile homes. We had a pitch with our own toilet and shower directly on the pitch. The pitch was large enough, pleasantly shady and partly separated by a hedge. The private WC + shower was very useful in these times (pandemic). The equipment rather... simple but OK. Unfortunately, the toilet/shower is not cleaned during the stay.
The grounds of the campsite and the pools are really great. Due to the Covid19 situation, the campsite was quite empty and mostly quiet. We think this is normally different (more lively). There was low-key entertainment at the main pool (music, aqua aerobics ....), but there will certainly be more in high season. The supermarket has a wide range of products. There was usually fresh fruit and vegetables. The bread rolls were delicious (classic Italian).
The train to the beach is great and reliable. But we also often walked about 10 minutes. The beach is beautiful, almost empty due to the current situation, which is certainly different normally. With a dog we had to use the public beach right next to Tahiti beach.
Short summary: we would love to come backTradus automat. - Günter J.September 2020PlusuriBathing areaMinusuri"Warm" showers, rip-off with ADAC_voucherRip-off with ADAC vouchersHello,
We were at this campsite about 14 days ago: unfortunately a nasty rip-off!
We had a 1-day voucher from the ADAC and wanted to stay 2 nights - the 2nd night with the ADAC camping card at the red. Price of approx. 27,- E. Everything was fine, no problems, except that not all pitches were free to... choose from. We were shown about 8 pitches to choose from and we picked one. But when we went to pay, we were told that we had to pay extra for our seat - it wasn't one of the free seats! So instead of 27,- E we now had to pay 38,-.
What's more, not a single hot shower worked in the men's sanitary area at this "top pitch".
Even the really nice bathing area can't make up for this annoyance.
In any case, we won't be going there again.Tradus automat. - Markus W.July 2019Plusuri- Infrastructure - Cleanliness -Pools - AtmosphereMinusuri- Food / Restaurant - MosquitoesWe are used to it differently...We are a family of 4 who have many years of experience with Camping Tahiti. The last time we were here was in 2017 and as usual we had a great, relaxing stay. We had a sensational experience with the Moorea restaurant in particular. The service was friendly and very accommodating and the food was something... to look forward to all day. Unfortunately, a lot has changed this year. The infrastructure of the campsite (e.g. the small children's pool at the entrance with the new, fantastic pirate ship) is a real enrichment. Unfortunately, the other great restaurant (right by the entrance) became a simple pizza take-away and the Moorea suffered from a change of operator. We are not exaggerating when we say that we are extremely disappointed. The opening hours are completely different. We were unable to take a coffee break in the morning or enjoy an ice cream in the evening. The decor has also deteriorated from tropical and original to dreary and boring. The staff are unfriendly and completely overwhelmed (and that in low season!!!), which leaves a bitter aftertaste. Furthermore, the order of the food ordered is very arbitrary and nonsensical. (starter - main course - dessert) On our first visit on Saturday, we were told on our previous visit late at noon that it was not necessary to make a reservation. In the end we waited 30 minutes for a table for 4. The pasta was delivered long after the pizza (which was warned 40 minutes late!) and was loveless and lukewarm. The food is mostly good, but the pasta is subterranean by Italian standards. (In ITALY!) It pains us to have to rate the Moorea in this way, as the previous team did an excellent, great job. We shuttled between several restaurants during our week-long stay and were otherwise satisfied. The father of the family misses the previous operator of the bar next to the Moorea, but the new, young gentleman also makes a good impression. (He is still learning the ropes.) The chauffeur of the "beach train" is a positive constant that enlivens the atmosphere and we are still impressed by his enthusiasm years later. :-) Tahti, we always enjoy coming back, but we are reluctant to enter Moorea.Tradus automat.

Thank you very much for your review.
According to our rules, customers staying on a pitch must stay in the Village until midday.
Our prices are 22.80 euros per night (2 adults + pitch B included).
If you stay two nights, you can benefit from the 20% discount and the price will be 18.24 euros per night.

Kind regards ;-)Tradus automat. - Michael B.August 2015PlusuriGood accommodation in a bungalow. Good entertainment for kids. Clean beach. German-speaking. Well-kept resort. Very good restaurant on the beachMinusuriMosquitoes (which are only chased away once a week) Only sports entertainment for teens, restaurants in the complex for eating Grade 6We are going there againWe visited the resort with our children aged 8/13 in the transition between high and low season. The reception was quite good, but there was a lack of space for discretion in the very cramped reception area. There was also no opportunity to sit down during the waiting times. The ladies and gentlemen... were friendly. We were quickly allocated a very clean and well-equipped bungalow and were able to move into it quickly. Anything that was missing was provided very quickly. If something needed to be repaired, a technician was quickly there who understood what we wanted. When I asked for extra blankets for the children, they were in the bungalow the same day. What didn't work at all were the mosquitoes. After my 164th mosquito bite, I asked at reception if it would be possible to spray our bungalow, to which I was first told that an employee would have to stay until 8.30 pm, but then the request was refused because of the wind. Apart from the fact that one or two slides are missing in the 3 swimming pools, they are absolutely fine. Unfortunately, the quiet times are not controlled, especially at night. We had no luck with our neighbors in the second week. At night the parents made a fuss until 1 a.m. and in the morning the children were already playing in front of our bungalow at 7 a.m., but I could certainly have complained about that. The entertainment for the kids was excellent. We have been on cruise ships where the program or the entertainers were worse. Even though there were no more German-speaking entertainers in the Kids Club after four days, our daughter and we were totally thrilled. Unfortunately, our 13-year-old son was not so lucky after he injured himself doing sports on the first day. It was more difficult for him to make contact with other children, as only sports activities were offered for the teens. The restaurants at the camp were not the best. One of our children suffers from very severe food allergies, and in one restaurant I found out in English that the food is prepared with a mix of oils. In the restaurant opposite reception, none of the staff spoke either German or English. There was also no declaration list in either restaurant, as has been mandatory in the EU since December 2015. The restaurant on the campsite's own beach, on the other hand, was able to cook for our son, as the manager and the head waiter took some time to tell us the ingredients. A big PLUS for that. The store was very expensive and nobody spoke English or German. Even the chilled drinks had a surcharge. In the town itself, on the other hand, there are plenty of stores where you can buy food at normal prices. There is also a porcelain store in the resort where you can have porcelain painted and fired very cheaply and with very good care. Great people and the communication was also very good. The beach was very easy to get to by train, but you could also get there by car, which you could park in the camp's own parking lot. The beach was very clean and you could get sun loungers and pedal boats for German prices. The sand was completely cleared of garbage every evening. The water was clean and you can go very far into the sea. In the evening there was a children's disco and a very good show program with good dancers and singers, also worth seeing in the off-season. The SPA was quite good. The prices are similar to those in Germany. However, the staff speak good German or English. The entertainers were very good considering that they were still very young. The quality of the pool games is debatable. Unfortunately there were no more prizes for the games after 31.08. The playground would not pass muster in Germany in terms of accident prevention. The mini golf course is also not the best (concrete). All in all, however, we were very surprised and satisfied with the whole ambience. We were in Italy, where there are still pinball machines in the arcades. Unfortunately, with the very old machines, there is no way to get your money back if something doesn't work. However, we were 95% satisfied with our vacation.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping Tahiti November 18, 2015Dear Michael,

Thank you Gabriele,
your comment flatters us so much.
We always promise ourselves to improve and this comment of yours reminds us, once again, to make an extra effort to ensure that all our Guests have a good vacation.
We are pleased that you bring to our attention that our services... are of a very good standard.
Unfortunately, there are periods when the turnout is so high that it is not easy, even for our in-house restaurants, to meet everyone's taste.
As for the flooring of our swimming pools, they are treated, periodically, with non-slip material, in the interest of the safety of our guests, but also of the workers. Evening shows are organized with the aim of engaging and entertaining, and thanks to valuable opinions, such as yours, we will work even harder in order to satisfy you completely.
....so....we are waiting for you! A hug and thank you for everything!
The management of Camping TahitiTradus automat. - Christiane D.July 2014PlusuriThe site is clean and well maintained, daily bookings are possibleMinusuriPrice/performance ratio is not right. Purely Italian animation, important messages (e.g. before storms) are not receivedMuch expected and then disappointedWe booked our vacation from home for 14 days based on positive experiences from friends. The website also looked promising to us. We traveled with a caravan and are a family of 4, including two children aged 3 and 0. We were expecting great entertainment for our 3-year-old son, as we had experienced... on previous vacations in Italy. Unfortunately, however, he didn't make any friends here due to the exclusively Italian entertainment. Overall, the campsite is mostly frequented by Italian and Dutch guests. As parents, we were therefore allowed to animate... The campsite has a total of three swimming pools, but they are all in a different place and you have to decide in advance which one you want to visit. The restaurants and bars at the swimming pools serve good food but the prices are correspondingly high. Two of us (our 3 year old ate with us) paid 30 euros for two pizzas with drinks alone. Everything in the area around the campsite also seemed expensive. The only place where you can shop cheaply is the nearby Lidl supermarket. Otherwise, everything around the campsite is desolate, we could hardly do any shopping at the markets and overall there wasn't really much to do if you didn't want to drive for more than an hour. The beach can be reached by a funicular. It runs regularly and you don't have to put up with long waiting times. There is a small playground on the beach itself and you can go really far into the water without really being deep in the water. As for the sanitary facilities: clean yes, but quite dated. We've seen much nicer ones. A real thorn in our side was the abundance of mosquitoes, which we are used to in Italy. However, they were only sprayed once in our two weeks on the campsite. At times, it was so bad that we had to leave the animation in the evening in a hurry. As a result, sitting in front of the caravan in the evening was no longer quite so relaxing. Overall, the site made a good impression. It was noticeable that many pitches were still empty despite the high season. Nevertheless, we couldn't choose a pitch... If you talk to other guests, opinions are divided. Many are completely satisfied with the entertainment and the campsite and have been coming here for many years. However, we were disappointed overall, as there was simply no proper entertainment for our son and we were therefore unable to spend such a relaxed vacation. We only really used the swimming pools. I missed the typical Italian atmosphere, especially in the markets. Everything was overpriced. Some people left in a rage before the end of their booking because they didn't like it here. We stayed until the end, but would not recommend this place, whether for families or couples. We have spent much nicer vacations for the money (over 70 euros/day).Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping Tahiti November 18, 2015Dear Christiane,
Thank you very much for your diligent review, which is rich in recommendations. We would like to say again that the reviews of our guests are always important for us to improve our services and professionalism.
In your review we read that you spent your vacation in our Village in July... with a child of 3 years old... Our MiniClub is particularly suitable for children over 4 years old, as we explain in our price list and website, nevertheless we are surprised to notice that the animation could not speak German, as in the written period German and Dutch animators participated in the team.
We are satisfied that you appreciated our private beach and our beautiful course and we thank you for that.
Concerning our restaurant, as you can already read in other reviews, we regularly try to control the quality of the cooking and its price/quality ratio. For this reason we can improve our performance thanks to your review.
The topic "mosquitoes" should be explained more. Assuming that the perception of mosquitoes is subjective, we try, as you rightly pointed out, to protect our guests from mosquitoes in the evening. Normally mosquitoes are particularly active for about an hour in the evening and if we notice that the situation is very stressful, we spray natural sprays throughout the campsite to limit the phenomenon. However, we must also emphasize that we are located in the Po Delta Parc, which also consists of a beautiful lagoon. The Parc has been working for a few years to get to know the phenomenon better and as you can read in recent publications, the phenomenon has improved a lot in recent years. This is also confirmed by guests who have been spending their vacation with us for several years.
Last year in July we had a few pitches available. To avoid the waiting time, we usually decide the pitch for each family in advance, but if our customers make certain wishes known to us, we try our best to make their wish come true. If a guest would like a different pitch in the village, we will try to change pitches depending on availability. We are sorry to read that you have not made your request known to us, but we have done our best to satisfy you. We always do what we can to ensure our guests have a wonderful vacation.
We hope to welcome you and your family to the Village. This way you would have the opportunity to realize that we have improved thanks to your review.
See you soon :-)Tradus automat. - Mike M.July 2014PlusuriGood camping for a beach vacationMinusuriPrice performanceNot badFor a 4 star campsite you could get more out of it with little effort. Very nice reception, everything worked well. The toilets lacked soap dispensers to wash your hands. In the small pool the floor is partly defective and you can hurt your feet. A slide is clearly missing in such large pools. We noticed... that things that are broken are not repaired, e.g. the wooden swing is broken and the rusty screws are protruding and you have the feeling that it will break at any moment. The children's playground is too small for the stars and price. It is also a pity that in bad weather nothing is done for the kids, such as a bouncy castle set up in the arena or other games organized. If the children want more "playground" they can only do this from 19.00h - 23.00h for an extra charge of 3 euros. What a pity. The children's entertainers are very nice. The place is well organized and clean. For us the price-performance ratio is not right. You always have to pay for extras. The road from Ferrara to the campsite is a test drive for caravans. Big potholes and bumps. Even worse in the opposite direction. All in all, a good campsite that is clean and you can spend a good vacation with kids. But we wouldn't go there a second time.Tradus automat.Răspuns de la Camping Tahiti February 2, 2015Dear Mike,
Thank you for your useful review. As we have pointed out in other reviews, we are sorry to note that the weather this summer affected our guests' vacations.
As you wrote, we did not have any real children's programs and activities to entertain our little guests when it rained. In case of bad... weather, we always explained with the loudspeaker that our animation team organized didactic activities such as board games or painting activities at our restaurant.
We will take into account your review and recommendations regarding the possibility of setting up a bouncy castle in the arena and building larger playgrounds.
We thank you for what you have said about the cleanliness and animation of our Village, we always try to do our best to ensure our guests an unforgettable vacation.
We hope that you will NOT keep what you said in your review and hope that you will spend your second vacation with us.

Best regards and see you soon :-)Tradus automat. - Achim O.August 2013We spent the last 3 weeks of our vacation on this campsite and, to say it up front, we are thrilled with it. The two pools are great, although a slide wouldn't go amiss. The normal swimming pool is unfortunately not in good condition. The restaurants are great, quality and prices are okay. The prices... for the drinks are a bit exaggerated. The staff are great. Friendly and helpful. You can always get by with English, many also speak some German. Nice wellness area, but not very cheap. The attractions are also quite expensive: climbing, bungee trampoline, bouncy castle, everything always costs a fiver. I seem to remember mini golf being outrageously expensive. Now to the few negative points, which are not the site's fault: The approach is a horror. SS is the abbreviation for Superstrada, but there's nothing super about it, except perhaps that the caravan is still attached to the car when you arrive. The village where the Tahiti is located is a sad satellite sin from the 70s. The distance to the beach is manageable with the funicular, but too far to walk. All in all, a great family place but unfortunately in the wrong placeTradus automat.
- Alexandre D.August 2013Beautiful campsite with everything you need on site. We had a type C pitch at the entrance to the campsite, which was very spacious and quiet. Lots of activities for children. The little train to the beach was a good idea. The staff were very welcoming.Tradus automat.
- Daniela T.August 2013We stayed at the Tahiti campsite with another family in the week from August 9 to 18, 2013. The site is large, clean and there is a lot on offer. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurants is fine. Nevertheless, there were a few things to complain about: The beach is outside and you... have to take a train, but it has a 2 hour lunch break! We had to walk a quarter of an hour back to the campsite in the midday heat. There was quite a lot of garbage on the beach on the first day. In the evening it was very loud every day, often until midnight, nobody checked the quiet times. Despite 3 swimming pools, the children would have liked a water slide. All in all, the vacation was ok, but we won't be back.Tradus automat.
- Sylvia P.August 2013***UPDATE 2013: After a bitter disappointment at Pentecost (many rental tents and new mobile homes set up, resulting in the disappearance of many A and B pitches, rather limited bar facilities and a really awful Moorea restaurant - see also comment by tanja-247), we came back for another 4 days on August... 20. After 2 months in southern Italy with extremely basic sanitary facilities, the Tahiti is simply luxury. The site was almost full and I liked it much more than in May. Friendly staff, sanitary facilities where you could eat off the floor. The campsite and beach were cleaned daily. A highly professional entertainment team. I've never even seen shows like this in a 5-star hotel, wow. The campsite remains one of my favorites! ***ENDING UPDATE 2012*** I've been going to this campsite from time to time since 1995. Previously with a tent, since 2012 with a motorhome. Personally, I love this site very much and am convinced that it is one of the best sites in Northern Italy. During my visits - Whitsun, Corpus Christi or at the end of August - the sanitary buildings were always spotlessly clean, the grounds well maintained and very green. In the low season, it can happen that not all pitches are open (i.e. not mowed), but you have a good choice. In the sanitary building B - the nice big central one at the front of the site - the shower water sometimes doesn't get really hot in spring - which is not really a problem in summer. I therefore always use the new sanitary facilities at the back. An old sanitary block is also still in use - it was always very clean and well maintained. In the summer season, great care is taken to observe the quiet times - that's why the dishwashing and laundry facilities are locked with automatic doors during quiet times - but you can get out! I think the site has not only gained with the doubling of space in the rear part - more mobile homes and the ratio of people to sanitary facilities has deteriorated slightly, which can lead to longer waiting times in the high season. On the other hand, the entertainment area is now further away from the pitches, so more peace and quiet if you want it. The restaurants are both good, but not exactly cheap. If you want to eat in the village, you have to walk quite a distance. It's 700 m to the sea, which can be a long walk. However, this route is really nice to manage by bike. Unfortunately, the part of the Bagno Tahiti beach with sun loungers and umbrellas is getting bigger and bigger. The campsite's own beach - both managed and unmanaged - is cleaned daily. If you move a few meters further, however, you will find garbage in the dunes. In spring, the sea is usually beautifully clear and locals collect free clams by the kilo (the same clams that are sold at high prices at fishmongers and restaurants). However, as the Po brings a lot of nutrients with it, the sea in the shore area unfortunately often turns over during the summer - especially in very hot years. But this is not the CP's fault. To summarize: A great place, with a few small drawbacksTradus automat.
- Robert F.June 2013Well organized nice CP, restaurants are very good. To the beach about 2 km but there is a nice bath at the CP. The stores are well stocked and you can choose between different campsites. But then there is also a surcharge of 1,2 or 6 € on the Acsi price. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but showers and washing-up facilities close automatically during rest periodsTradus automat.
- Tanja W.May 2013We have always enjoyed staying here at least once in the last 6 years, but this was definitely the last time. The animation team is unfortunately completely failing and cannot be compared with the last few years. The internet only worked intermittently and the service at the pool restaurant failed completely.... You are not served like the last few years, the selection of drinks is very limited and cocktails are now completely missing from the range. At least there is an extremely unfriendly and incompetent waitress who is obviously more concerned with her appearance than with the guests. My children loved going there until this year, but even they no longer want to go. What a shame for a very nice place with a bad animation team and an underground bad restaurant team.Tradus automat.
- Marlene F.September 2012Large "club-style" campsite. The grounds are well-kept and there are some very nice pitches under pine trees. Lots of different entertainment options for young and old. Very nice playgrounds. Sanitary facilities rather old and unkempt. You can get to the sea by train (about 15 minutes on foot). Beach... not particularly well maintained. WiFi only in the areas with "consumption possibility". If you like club vacations, you are in good hands here. We will definitely not be going there again.Tradus automat.
- Katharina W.August 2012The resort is very beautiful, the pools are a dream, the accommodation (especially Bungalow Mimosa, Caravan Ninfea) was well maintained and well equipped, the entertainment was outstanding and the restaurants were great! The problem with the long walk to the beach is solved very well by the slow train. The beach was also very clean. Camping Tahiti is a perfect place to relax (Therme Oasis!!), but also to have fun.Tradus automat.
