"Very small campsite with good facilities - Advantages and disadvantages were listed. Highly frequented due to its proximity to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The site is in good condition but the area is very small. We then switched to the neighboring campsite for another day, which has nicer pitches.

"Idyllic place surrounded by greenery - The campsite is in a quiet location surrounded by greenery and is fairly new. The pitches are nicely laid out and large enough. The well-kept and clean sanitary facilities are also relatively new. There can be waiting times at the showers (0.50 euros/6 minutes) at peak times. The old town of Rothenburg can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. You should bring some fitness with you for the walk, as it is mainly uphill. The campsite is an ideal starting point for visiting Rothenburg and the surrounding area. We were only there for two days as we were passing through, but we can imagine staying longer. A clear recommendation.

"A place to feel at home. - The operators, two young, friendly and dedicated men, are passionate about what they do and you can tell. A lot has probably been invested in the infrastructure recently. Good-humored, unbureaucratic hosts who can be reached by phone even in night-time emergencies thanks to the yellow telephone made the stay very pleasant. Ordering bread rolls went smoothly. Wet areas and toilets were functional, partly new and really clean. Rothenburg is easy to reach on foot or by bike. At the beginning I found the idea that no carpeting was allowed a bit strange. However, in retrospect, we approve of it in view of the fact that it is much more pleasant to walk on a well-maintained lawn. Contrary to some statements in the reviews, the electricity billing is more efficient and cheaper than the usually overpriced daily flat rates. We can only recommend the pitch.
