- Bernd H.December 2022PlusuriFriendly reception staffMinusuriOnly the old wash house built around 1995 was open. 5 toilets and 5 narrow showers accessible to all guests. In the area of the booked pitch 519, 2 lanterns were defective, so that there was complete darkness. Despite informing the site management on the first day, it was still completely unlit on the day of departure. unlit. The chemical toilet was also without lighting, including the access road. Since our 1st stay in 1997 there has been no modernization in the open sanitary building. Deserves a maximum of 3 stars in winter.Winter camping 27.12.22 to 08.01.23The pitch is dead in winter. No infrastructure open at all. Despite advertising with 5 star pitch in winter despite 9 ° C no water on the pitch. With 39,00€ overpriced for the offered service.Tradus automat.
- Franz S.June 2019Spacious square, with room to play (car-free)Once the caravan is parked, the car must be moved away from the actual camping area. This creates spacious pitches. Everything you need is available.Tradus automat.
- Anneli T.May 2019PlusuriLarge car-free pitches, spotlessly clean sanitary facilities, quiet location, friendly reception, no barrier closing time at lunchtimeMinusuriThere were none. You can't ask for moreMy husband and I, both seniors, were here in the low season. We had rented a "comfort pitch with private sanitary facilities". Not only the pitch, but also the sanitary facilities were "comfort": large pitch, water connection and TV connection. Waste water could be disposed of in the toilet. The sanitary... block was heated, the shower didn't flood the whole bathroom, there was a towel dryer and a washbasin where you could store all your utensils. Mirror and toilet too, of course. The toilet with "real", complete toilet seat! Nothing was missing. The site is in a quiet location, about 2 km from the beach. There is a nice cycle path through woods and meadows to the village and therefore also to the beach. The reception was very friendly and helped us during our stay whenever we contacted them. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant on site. Internet access worked and was not expensive: €1 per day and device connected at the same time. Very nice: the cars are not parked directly on the pitch, but nearby on the edge of the "streets" of the site. Therefore, the pitches do not have the character of a parking lot and you are spared the noise of cars and exhaust fumes. A word about the "normal" sanitary facilities on the site: they were also spotlessly clean. Every toilet cubicle was tiled right down to the floor, toilet seat cleaners, lights in every cubicle, sturdy coat hooks, shelves, quiet music. Also a pleasure: unlike most German campsites, there were no barrier closing times at lunchtime. GOOD!!! In short: we were delighted and will be back.Tradus automat.
- Maik R.April 2019PlusuriLocation, peace and quietMinusuriPartly a bit outdated.Beautiful Easter vacation in HollandBeautiful campsite near the cozy coastal town of Callantsoog. Easy to reach from the campsite by bike in about 10 minutes. The campsite is absolutely fine, but from our point of view it doesn't have 5 stars. Compared to other leading campsites, some things need to be modernized or the appearance needs a lot of work. However, everything is absolutely clean and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely be back.Tradus automat.
- Volker Z.September 2018PlusuriThe location is great, very quiet. The footpath and cycle path connections to the town are good.MinusuriDisposal station chemical toilets was not really greatNice place in a quiet location, we will be backWe had chosen the place because of the good reviews and because dogs are welcome. We were not disappointed. The campsite is on the edge of the village of Callantsoog. It is around a 25-minute walk to the town. The site is very quiet, the pitches are large enough and the infrastructure is very good. The... sanitary blocks are in a well-kept condition. Only the disposal point for chemical toilets was at the back of our sanitary building, so it was not visible and therefore not really clean. The supermarket is very small, but offers the essentials for quick shopping. The swimming pool is very nice and modern. The staff at reception are extremely friendly and helpful.Tradus automat.
- Dirk S.July 2018PlusuriFriendly staffMinusuriToilets a bit dirty and everything very expensive.High seasonI found the toilet facilities dirty. Expected much more for 5 stars. Everything a bit old and worn. The way to the beach too far, you walk 30 min. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go to this campsite again. There are nicer ones nearby. I also found it very expensive. 430 € for a week, 3 people and 2 dogs.Tradus automat.
- Norka P.May 2018PlusuriPitches without car. Swimming pool. Entertainment facilities also for older children. Town + beach reachable by bike in a few minutes.MinusuriDogs allowedsecond homeWe have been coming here several times a year for 15 years. Our children have learned to swim here. It's great for them to come back every time. They also like to come with other families they know. The children have fun and we can relax.Tradus automat.
- Michael Z.October 2017Good place....butWe had expected more from a Leading pitch. The site was not particularly well maintained, the sanitary facilities were clean but not particularly warm, not to say too cold. In the store you could only get bread rolls and the leftovers from the summer. Great place CallantsoogTradus automat.
- Nicole K.October 2017PlusuriBeautiful playgrounds Swimming pool Close to the beach Dogs allowedMinusuriSeemed a bit worn outBeautiful campsiteOn the whole, the campsite is certainly nice, but we were there in the fall vacations 2017 and the place was a bit worn out and very empty. The swimming pool also made an impression in need of renovation, I can't really say anything about the sanitary facilities, we had a place with private sanitary... facilities, but it was unheated (we were informed beforehand) and a bit loveless. I can imagine that in summer everything here is better looked after and more lovingly maintained. Fall is just not really high season :-) We didn't eat at the campsite, so I can't say anything about it.Tradus automat.
- Sabine S.October 2017PlusuriVery quiet in the off-season! Beautiful, large pitches!Minusuri2 km to the village/beachGood place out of seasonRelatively large site with spacious pitches. Great beach and pretty town within a 20-minute walk. There are sports facilities on site for children and adults. Sauna costs extra and must be rented. Restaurant is recommended!Tradus automat.
- Guido P.October 2017Good location, unfortunately a bit outdatedWe had one of the two caravan pitches with a private bathroom. The private bathroom was unfortunately very small and unheated. The swimming pool is poorly lit, there is no shower and the seating area is very cold in the cold season.Tradus automat.
- Oliver S.August 2017Minusuri- In the HS the search for a parking space in the evening is annoying because cars are not allowed on the squareWell-kept placeBeautifully maintained campsite with swimming pool, restaurant and self-service market. Just outside the town center (approx. 15-20 min. on foot). Comfort pitches with electricity, water and drainage, cable TV. Clean sanitary facilities.Tradus automat.
- Björn K.July 2017PlusuriSo far okMinusuriThe employees do not adhere to the rest periods (lawn mower, hedge cutting)Website better than the spaceAfter the very promising website, our expectations were not met. We would not have awarded five stars. No entertainment for adults, such as bingo etc. The children's entertainment hardly spoke any German.Tradus automat.
- Daniel M.April 2017PlusuriClose to Callantsoog, top sanitary facilitiesMinusuri-Super!We were from 28.04. to 02.05.17 at Camping Tempelhof, top place, small supermarket with humane prices, Callantsoog can be reached quickly by bike, comfort pitches for 560 caravans just right, connection for water, electricity and satellite TV directly at the place, we were not the first and not the last time there!Tradus automat.
- Ute C.October 2016PlusuriClose to Callantsoog. Swimming pool.MinusuriOnly 1 wash house open during the fall vacations.Everything is there, but somehow the charm is missing. The campsite seemed a bit chaotic. Many buildings along the driveway and we had to search for the reception a bit. Friendly reception with comprehensive information about the campsite. The CP was very busy in the fall vacations as some pitches were already closed. Unfortunately only 1 wash house was... open which was too few for the number of campers and there were waiting times for showers and dishwashing. The wash house was clean, but the space with showers and wash basins was extremely cramped. The toilets are flushed with the overflow of the swimming pool water, very ecological, but with the dirty green color very habitual. Various entertainment and sports activities were offered, but we didn't use them. The swimming pool is also okay. The pitches unfortunately very narrow and partly muddy due to lack of turf (October). Callantsoog is very easy to reach by bike. So actually everything you need is there, but somehow the charm or loving design of the place is missing.Tradus automat.
- Ulrich S.October 2016PlusuriClean, well-structured site, friendly and thoughtful staff.MinusuriNothingoctober 2016We stayed at this campsite for a week in October. There were delays on the approach, but the documents were left at the CP restaurant for check-in, so even late check-in was handled very pragmatically by the staff. The briefing was complete. High praise for this! Offers for kids with soccer field and swimming pool really good. Sanitary area always clean. The offer in the store was clear, but ok. We will definitely go back again.Tradus automat.
- Silke B.September 2016PlusuriLarge clean pitch; dog-friendly; disinfectant in the toiletsMinusuriSanitary building is getting on in years; low water pressure in the showers; only one sanitary building openWe would love to come backWe stayed at the campsite in the last week of September/ first week of October. We liked the place very much. It was about 2 km by bike to Callantsoog, which was very easy to reach via the well-developed cycle paths. Dogs are very welcome. Our pitch was large with a water connection, electricity and... waste water. One of the two sanitary blocks was closed right at the beginning of our vacation, which was completely okay during the week, but not enough at the weekend. The reception staff were very nice and helpful. The paths were poorly lit in the dark. All in all, we had a very nice vacation and would gladly come back to the Tempelhof campsite.Tradus automat.
- Mariele P.July 2016PlusuriCentrally located.MinusuriPoor private sanitary facilities!Campsite with private sanitary facilities!Large campsite, centrally located with a nice cycle path to the next town. We had the Comfort pitch with private sanitary facilities. Never again! The location of the pitch was very noisy, right next to the swimming pool and restaurant. The entrance to the sanitary facilities faces the street, in need of renovation, very narrow, dark, damp and musty, no windows or ventilation, no heating.Tradus automat.
- beate g.June 2016PlusuriAbsolutely clean sanitary facilities, well-kept placeMinusuriLittle water pressure in the shower, overpriced, very manageable supermarketWell-kept, quiet campsiteHere you will find a very well-kept campsite with large pitches and absolutely clean sanitary facilities. A fragrance is always sprayed automatically so that it doesn't smell of urine. The only disadvantage worth mentioning is that the water pressure in the showers is like a weak rain shower. You can't... really get the foam off. The supermarket is very small. Except for very tasty bread rolls, which are a bit overpriced, but not really recommendable. You have to be there early in the morning to get the bread rolls. A short time later there are only the white rolls. The site is very quiet and there are still some helpful campers. Thanks to the Acsi-Card, the price/performance ratio is excellent in the low season. More is not possible. The walk to Callantsoog is also not too far and a lovely walk through the countryside. All in all, highly recommended!Tradus automat.
- J. M.March 2016PlusuriNeat clean placeMinusuriPitches quite small Inconvenient: you need 3 keys: for pitch, shower, water connection each with a depositCP with swimming pool and children's play areaPitches open all year round with a green and stable surface - important in the low season! Pitches quite small - i.e. caravan to caravan during the season - 7.50 m drawbar is the limit! Cars are parked separately. Sanitary building new, smart and well maintained. Unfortunately we didn't get any hot water... with our chip one day in the evening and in the morning! Restaurant and small store OK. Quite large indoor pool more for children than for swimmers, large children's play hall, no gas bottle exchange, on 19.03. the CC special price rose from 17.-€ to 36.-€! and that at 8°C outside temperature - here we would have wished for a concession. Dog walk directly at the surrounding fields, beach with 1.4 km quite far away. Tip: It's worth comparing prices with the neighboring campsite!Tradus automat.
