- Peter K.May 2015PlusuriBeautiful beachMinusuriDue to the location between the road and the railroad (main line) it is very noisy. Not suitable for us for a longer stay.Transit at the start of the seasonIt was the beginning of the season and not everything was in operation yet. We spent the night here on our way south. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.Tradus automat.
- Achim S.September 2013It could be quite a nice place if the busy railroad line didn't run right through it and the toilets had proper seat covers - I hate sitting on the bare porcelain. --- The pitches in the eastern part of the campsite by the sea are located behind the busy railroad line, an underpass with a maximum height... of 3 meters has to be driven through (there are also pitches in front of it). Some pitches are located directly on the beach, but behind a wire fence, which is partially covered with a wind and privacy tarpaulin. There are many (still) low palm trees planted on the beach, which create a lovely ambience. The site is 5 pitches wide between the railroad line and the beach, so you can't avoid the railroad noise - you can only try to get used to it. In any case, the trains run regularly and frequently. --- The sockets provide 16A, the fuse is freely accessible just in case. --- The sanitary building on the beach is shared by Cp Calypso and Cp Led Zeppelin, the facilities are only slightly different. The main drawback is the seated toilets without seats. There is only 1 sitting toilet in the men's section, otherwise there are 4 "French" standing or squat toilets. The 3 ladies' toilets still have a bidet. The toilets are in the same room as the washbasins and showers and are directly adjacent to them. --- Stable WLAN is available free of charge in the low season, but only in an area around and in the restaurant. --- The town of Cupra Marittima, with its beautiful church and numerous stores, is quite close just over the bridge and can be easily reached on foot or by bike. You can also cycle along a special 2.7 km long cycle and pedestrian route along the sea to the larger seaside resort of Grottammare. Highly recommended.Tradus automat.
- Frank M.June 2011We stayed at the campsite for about a week in June 2011. We had a very good pitch right on the beach. In contrast to pitches further away, it was very well ventilated (which was necessary and important given the temperatures of around 28 degrees Celsius). The campsite offers entertainment. In the morning... on the beach, after the siesta at the entrance. Due to the proximity of our pitch to the morning animation meeting point, there was a lot going on - but loud music etc. was not really disturbing. It got quieter in the afternoon. There were mainly Italian holidaymakers/campers present. Few holidaymakers with camper vans. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas (reception, bar, store etc.). Important: The campsite is divided by a railroad line (underpasses available). After a certain amount of time to get used to it, the very fast-moving trains and corresponding noise pollution no longer really bother you. I would recommend the campsite again for Italian-speaking campers/motorhome owners who are hungry for entertainment. Dogs: were not allowed on the beach. In the evening, after the beach guests had left the beach, it was possible to let your four-legged friend jump. However, care should be taken to ensure that their droppings are properly removed. The depth of the sea was also suitable for smaller children, as there were stone obstructions to reduce the current.Tradus automat.
